- This channel I will show you my personal DIY MOD’s. Bring you though why I chose to get some because some modifications should be left to the experts.
I will also take you along on some adventures like meet ups, trail running, some wheeling, as well as the products and MOD’s I chose.
Plus I will be adding and subtracting those MOD’s as I progress in the Jeep Life giving you my personal reviews along the way.
Thank you Friends

I just purchased my Stage 3 for my new car. I had a stage 3 for my 2019 Impreza and it was a BIG boost! Not a scam. 100,000 miles and was getting 36mpg
I bought this back in December 2023 for my 2023 Kia Rio and it definitely made a difference. My max mph was 120 and now I get up to 130-140mph and also it speeds up way faster
For no reason should a kia rio be going 100+ mph 😂
@@rubenespinoza2656 I sold that and did other things lol I get to 145 now
@@rubenespinoza2656😂😂
I have stage 3 and it works
step 2 says turn on ignition. "DO NOT START CAR" wait 10 seconds .
Ok.
Yea he blew right by that one!
What’s up guys. So when I kept on reading it stated if you don’t have a push to start button then you can turn the ignition right on. So I don’t have a push to start so I didn’t need to wait 10 seconds.
No. Your still wrong. I just got mine today. It says if you have a push button to hit the start button without hitting the break then wait 10 seconds. If you have a key start, turn the key to the on position and still wait 10 seconds. After that 10 seconds, you then start the car.
@@raywoolard9874any changes you seen after a while?
well what were the results ?? is it a gimmick or does it work?
It works but bit enough to keep it attached.
Does it work for 3.9L Lincoln LS v8 2005?
Not sure but I don’t think it’s worth it. At least for me it didn’t do what I thought it could do and I did follow directions even after posting the video.
I watch ALL these Videos on Throton Chips...
NO ONE Does a Dyno Pull BEFORE (Stock/Current) THEN... AFTER "Thorton Chip" [Parameters ARE Met] (After 50-150 Miles).
Thorton Tune Stage 3: [ 4-6 MPG & 60 HP ] (Warning: HP and WHP are Different)
If you do NOT KNOW what WHP is... Just focus on MPG :)
Your truck not even turbo how would it tune it much
You don’t need turbo for a tune, people all the time get a hp software tune and get 50-70 hp
@@ags4353 well works great have one on turbo 2.3 mkc
Updates?
I have it connected and do notice a little difference but nothing to write home about.
@@gronmolifestyle Thanks for the update. I bought one and installed it. I've noticed a little better acceleration but I'm not seeing the reduction in gas mileage I had hoped for. Regards.
I was doing some research on this company and the better business burau "BBB" had them listed as Thorton GPS Trackers also most modern ECUs are locked out from factory hence the reason why when you use legit tuning software the ECU has to be unlocked then reprogramed and remapped these things do not work and I'd be willing to bet they are probably Chinese GPS trackers.
Would have been helpful for you to add your results
Sorry Alex. The result video is still in the works. Between you and me… it’s not worth it. Didn’t help me at all. But the video will be made soon.
Can you return it
@@zmasterblackable They say yes but with a restocking fee. So I just kept it.
I got a stage 3 and after 400 miles, I have a 0% increase in performance. I contacted the company and they recommended resetting it. I've done that and I've had no improvement.
Just bought stage 2 for the 370z
Congrats! You bought a plastic box with a blinky light. Enjoy!
You wasted your money...why not by an actual tuner and get an email tune?
@@TooMuch_Luffy I am once I get headers and exhaust next
I hope so. Even the BBB has gotten tons of reports of these "tune chip" companies making faulty products that don't work. These "chips" don't do squat, theirs no such thing as a chip that adapts and learns to someone ecu whichly thats bs and makes no sense. Hell, they would have to make EVERY chip make and model specific and decode every ecu out there. Go through a reputable tunning company with good tuners. Your ecu has to learn and adapt to the new tune/mapping that is created and sent through email by an actual person who can Tune and Map to your needs. (Or you can get a dyno tune)
@@TooMuch_Luffy yeah headers next then exhaust then a turne also to remove the speed limiter off car says they do 190 should do want speedo says
Thornton stage 3 sucks don't work
I agree. It didn’t work for me and I did the install 5 times. I understand
It worked for me but I got the stage 3 60hp. I have a 2011 Honda crv. I have dumped MONEY into this thing. I have a straight pipe catback with a magnaflow catalytic manifold, 320amp alternator (for power and my $5000 sound system) cold air intake, MSD ignition coils, Enkei light weight racing wheels and some powerstop performance brakes so I don't worry about the brakes. But it takes way longer than it says milage wise for it to work and it's won't work if you don't have at least some aftermarket stuff. My car is now almost 250HP (187hp stock) and goes 0-60 within 5.5 seconds.
@@gronmolifestyle you’re supposed to drive for 150 miles for the Thornton chip to kick in. Those 150 miles are for the chip to read data and adjust
@@gronmolifestylethey work but not for all cars, some cars ecu won’t allow it
@@excalibur_6975 hey I got a honda civic hatchback 2017 turbo u think it might do something I'm scared it might mess up my computer or my engine
