I love a good challenge and have become really interested in doing this type of photography. Hopefully it will lead to other opportunities, but right now I'm just trying to stay positive
Are they paying you for this? Seems super stressful. I took pics for my kids sports teams over the years, but just used the gear I had. Parents and kids were super appreciative and I'm sure your folks will be too. Good luck!
In a roundabout kind of way I'm getting paid. Truth be told I'm SUPER EXCITED about this whole thing (except for the group shots). The gear I've bought was the result of a few different shoots over the past few months. and doesn't come close to some of the stupid camera purchases I've made over the years. Hopefully this will lead to future opportunities as I'm digging "sports photography" as it blends a few of my favorite genres into one.
