Can we start a go fund me for this poor man. He’s on disability and I feel for the guy. The only person out of all the videos I’ve watched that wasn’t delusional and shallow
You’re one of the few people on this thread with some compassion for this guy. So many ugly comments from people!

This is probably the first one i have seen where the woman actually looks like someone who could be real rather than an only fans model who is half their age

I was thinking the same
Me too
Yeah, it’s hard to cheer against this guy. I mean, she might be a little more physically attractive than you’d expect this guy to get, but he’s not fully delusional thinking someone like this might talk to him.
I thought the same. At least he doesn't cheat on his partner with a young and big titted blonde russian girl, cause we seen this too often now. its really eye opening that roughly 80% of these catfish cases (in my opinion) deserved what they got. For him I kinda feel bad cause like you said the women just looked like a decent and grown woman.
Scamming someone who's on disability isn't just scraping the bottom of the barrel. These scammers move the barrel over and start digging.
But that's a regular check & they need a cut. 🤣🤣
@@RandomMcRandomness It's a small check and that's what makes them wanting their "cut" all the more despicable.

His wife is a low life for leaving him when he needed her the most and this scammer is truly a sicko.
This is one of the few that is actually sad instead of gross. Idk how scammers can live with themselves scamming people with these sort of backstories.
I've seen a video about Lagos, Nigeria where they scam people by the thousands in call centers, for them people like him are just a number.
Hey aren’t you that zombie from the Walking Dead? You sure look like it.
Scammers are looking exactly for these kinds of people. People who are older, lonely, and desperate for companionship. They are the perfect targets.
Scammers also purposely make little mistakes to see if these people are dumb enough to not catch it...and if they don't notice these mistakes, then scammers tend to think that they deserve to get scammed.
Scammers disconnect from marks and often justify what they do by the very fact the mark fell for it.
“They fell for it, if they had any sense they’d know better.”
That’a the mentality.
@@Unchainedful omg my first fan 😍😍😍 Thanks so much for recognizing me

That line has made it into every episode.

Wow, I think this is the first time I heard a victim say they are naive instead of "very intelligent". This was one of the most sympathetic stories, I hope he can get some support and friendship in real life.
I agree whole heartedly!! The woman last week and the week before had to keep reminding us how “educated, intelligent and financially stable “ they were… ummm… when you have been scammed by a VERY obvious scam out the gate and then keep blathering on how smart you are… ya.. your not. Quite the opposite infact. This man was just so humble… a refreshing change to the others where you just want to ring their neck. I hope he will be ok.. he is very genuine fella and I feel sad for him.
He could quite easily...in REAL life.
@@PROUDCANADIANGIRL Usually declaring how intelligent they are shows ignorance of what comprises true smarts, which is why they were so easily scammed. I agree, his genuine-ness is refreshing and moving. He's lovable and his life may change after this exposure.

Sooo many victims go on about being so intelligent and all their qualifications etc like their ego took a beating so they would rather brag about how smart they are.. Very saddening.
also wasn't a creep who was looking to date/"dated" someone that could be their child or even grandchild by their age.

It's basically the same story every week yet I keep watching! 😂
Every week it's the same story - but usually there's some small added twist or detail in the crazy story.
Each story is unique. If you think like this then you are better off not watching the show.

@@Hithere23940 People are different but the red flags are still there. I watch every week and will keep watching, I enjoy the videos (don't enjoy the people getting scammed!) I have learnt a lot in the last few years about romance scams but there is always more to learn.
First time I've acutally felt sorry for the victim. He's so lonely. The scammer actually looked like a "real" person, not a super model or a young girl. Scamming a disabled person is totally disgusting. You don't have to pay someone to be a true friend.😢
Yeah, I was expecting a 25 year old model. I was only half paying attention and actually thought for a while they kept showing photos of his ex wife. I think this might be the first episode I've seen where it's, like, normal looking photos being stolen. I mean, she pretty or whatever, but a middle aged single mom isn't exactly the millionaire with a 6 pack that it usually is...
You people are monsters. No one "deserves" to be scammed and abused.
@erin9868 Well they look about 30 years different in age
Finally i feel sympathy and sadness for the victim. He deserves so much better than this, he seems like a good guy.
Everyone has some type of disability, whether it be physical or something else. This guy lost his leg because he most likely has diabetes from being overweight and not taking care of himself. People who get sucked into internet scammers live in a fairytale in their head. Why would anyone send money to someone they don’t know, ridiculous. He would be better off spending the money on a therapist. Go meet real people.
This was probably the WORST and most heartbreaking case😪 to scam a disabled soul on disability is a whole level of evil
Hi Isla how are you. Greetings from Ireland. Your comment is very true. Best wishes for a nice day 👍🙏 Michael
Somebody needs to give Andrew a big hug and tell him that he's a good man and whoever did this is unethical and criminal.
Maybe the story about his wife isn’t that one-sided but to leave your spouse bc they lost a limb (bc of YOUR work event) is the lowest low of a scumbag.
This is one scam victim I truly feel sympathy for. He’s experienced trauma, his wife left him and is in a vulnerable state of mind. Wishing him all the best.
😢
Most of them explain their vulnerability and circumstances in the story, but it can be hard for people to explain in a way that garners sympathy. Most viewers want to blame the victim for being scammed.
I really wanted this one to be real. 😢
@@tinydreameven she was real it would have just been a women using him for money. That happens a lot online too. It doesn’t have to be a fake person.
??? Lots of scammed women are vulnerable (death of husband), so why would you lack compassion for them?
It's sick to send pictures and video of someone else's child to a stranger.
What mother would do that? A stranger wants to adopt a child who he’s never met & the mother encourages that? Obviously she’s not real
People shouldn't put pics or videos of their children online at all imo. Even fully dressed they can & will be used for you know.
Also think about the future, who will see them & what if the child doesn't want that.
Luckily im too old for that although i had an argument with my sister years back about the consequences of her posting my pic anywhere.
agreed. As a mother why would you publish your daughter for everyone to see....in my eyes, she is has much to blame as the scammer.....keep your photos private, this need for people to have everything public....sad that people are running after likes.....learn to love yourself....
Let’s give this poor woman a break. It’s not her fault that her photos were stolen, and now because of that we’re all weighing in on her looks and her judgement. Tons of people post public photos and videos of their kids and nobody rakes them over the coals for doing it. If I had kids I would NOT do that, but some people either don’t know the risks or discount them.
They are poor Africans. They hate white people, so why would they care?
The wife left him because he lost his leg….due to one of her work events she asked him to go to. So much for wedding vows.
Some people are ready for a wedding but not the stuff that goes on in a marriage. I've seen people on this channel who cheat on their spouse because their sick or they didn't look good how they used to look 20 years ago 🙄
We're only hearing his side of the story, remember there's three sides, his, hers, and the truth.
I highly doubt that alone is why she left him
He's disabled, a teddy bear (overweight), says his wife left him unfairly...Everyone in the comments "aww the 1st person ive felt bad for" He deserves so much better" 😂 Does not override the fact he still missed all the obvious signs of a scammer, didnt act very smart.

No matter what people say to make themselves feel better, while pets can give affection and fill a hole in a persons life, they can not fill the same hole that is left from lack of human connection. There is a marked difference. Aristotle wrote of this thousands of years ago. The human brain requires the sensation of human connection to remain truly healthy. That's the same reason even so many so called introverts will go online here on youtube or other social media sites. Just reading or typing a comment or watching a video and hearing a human speak rewards the individual with the feeling of human connection.
I pity him. He actually questions why she was interested in him. And he wasn’t giving shallow descriptions of what he wants out of a woman; he just wants a woman to talk to. I hope he meets someone. He seems like a nice guy, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. 😢

I only heard one side of the story so I would be cautious to conclude that your assumption is correct. Yes, this catfish story is tragic but loss of mobility takes a toll on one’s mental health. Who knows what he was like to his wife before she left. Everyone has their own personal reason for separation and divorce, and each party usually blames the other. He seems like a genuine person but deluded people usually have an air of “innocent child”, which evokes empathy in good hearted people. But again, if a person is this deluded, how deluded was he before this? Probably the same but just in different contexts, one of which I assume led his wife to leave him.
@factualfatale he mentioned he liked the way his ex wife talked to him..btw it's prett obvious he's not exactly a catch. I think the fact that the has only so much money every month may have saved him in time. Other victims on this channel who had more money ended up sending hundreds of thousands of dollars abroad, took up loans, mortgaged or even sold their house to send money to a bitcoin wallet...while Andrew is naive, I think his gut instinct still kicked in when "she" was pestering him for money when he was trying to tell her that he cannot spare any more. She wants to buy a house for them to live in yet she's asking him for money for her "bead business"...Honeychile, beads ain't gonna buy you no house!!!
"Babe, please, I've never asked you for ANYTHING!" *been talking for two weeks*
Finally someone I can feel empathy to rather than annoyance
She said she'd never boss him around, but she's demanding money. And won't let him visit her. Scammer.
It's more likely a young African guy
Well no, it's kind of clever. "She" spent a month building him up as the Alpha Male that takes care of his family right? Then comes the asking for money. "But baby, you're supposed to provide for me" Either you're a provider, or you're not
Probably a Nigerian scammer.
Right? And speaking as someone who raised my two girls on my own I cannot imagine saying things like "you're the man and you should be in charge". Maybe for some of those single moms who go from guy to guy but a long-time single mother isn't likely to see life like that.
@@DarlaAnneThat’s really the only thing I can diss him for, wanting to be the alpha man provider etc. But there’s a blurry line between being old fashioned (which could be fine if both partners are OK with it) vs. being an asshole. Everything else about him isn’t gross so I think he is simply a little old fashioned.
Finding love as a disabled person is so hard. My sister has had men get angry and verbally abusive towards her after finding out. I sympathize with him and I hope he can find the companion he is looking for
You are 100% correct. I’m 53, and was diagnosed with MS in 01, and my then husband said he’d take care of me and our kids but the statistics on ppl w MS shows that 90% of men that’s wives get diagnosed w MS end up cheating. That’s what happened to me. I’ve been alone a long time but I be danged if I’d ever beg for love from anyone. It’s in God’s hands and I will accept anything that the Lord has planned for my future. Best of luck to all of my disabled friends. We are worth love, companionship and friendship just like everyone else.
I'm disabled from injuries sustained from am attempted murder. I happened to meet an amazing man that accepts all the medical problems that have come from my injuries, mental and physical. He doesn't even question it and helps me when it's hard to walk and I don't have my cane, and helps me carry things due to my paralyzed arm.
I planned on being alone but a so fortunate to find my better half.
This is so true. I had a spinal injury in April and the surgery almost left me paralysed. My girlfriend at the time looked for every problem possible just after the surgery and I eventually broke up with her.
4 months on, I'm still learning to walk again and find the right lady for me
@@justinreed3191Don’t give up! You’re better off alone than with a mean partner! You will be happy again!
@@SandraW6988If a partner is seriously disabled, polyamory is an option. I have an open relationship where each of us is allowed to have an additional lover on the side. Never any “cheating”, just honest open communication and love all around.
Someone really close to me told me “I can’t be worrying about your health “ I was in a breast cancer scare. My heart died in my chest 😢
This man is much different from other male victims on this channel I have seen. He was in love with what he thought to be a real person, but and yet he put this thing on hold when "she" was starting to ask for money he couldn't afford to lose and sought advice. And he was genuinely sad at the end, not just offended -- and he was facing the truth with more dignity than others.
No he knows she is to pretty for him falling I love with one day ?
Needy as f like the other he should start by losing weight.
this man is probably the first one when i cant feel anything but sympathy, he wasn't after a super model, he seems super sweet and honest, his wife left him for something that was genuinely not his fault, i just feel terrible for him
This man is living on government money. He deserves the worst.

Creepiest thing I ever heard "I can fall in love with a woman in one day - if I TOUCH THEM" Aaaargh.
Agree - it’s horrific!
People NEVER learn 😂
Kinda confused, he said he only wanted friendship but he seemed to immediately want a relationship with this woman.
This man because of his disability and sob story is getting a lot of sympathy. I as a home health aide and sensing more. A lot more to this story
He is too quick to love. He loves every woman who gives him a listening ear. GUARD YOUR HEART!!
These scammers have no moral compass! It’s really sickening! Praying for your healing, understanding, and peace of mind Andrew ❤
Well said
You shouldn't fall in love if you don't see her or meet her. I feel sorry for the woman and the husband and her kids .imagine how she feels some man is in love with her she doesn't even no.
You should see where the scammers live, people are so poor there the population huffs glue to combat hunger, and then they usually die before they even hit 18. There are no hope of getting a good jobs either. Westerners have destroyed Africa after putting their own dictators in each country, dictators who are pro capitalist of course and who will let big oil and mining companies destroy the land and leave everyone hungry. I'd say it's payback for what westerners have done. Even though US citizens are also victims since they can't control their own government that has gone rogue at this point. But still, I can understand the African people point of view.
I honestly don't know what I would do if I lived in west africa in extreme poverty, I think the hunger and the fear of being poor forever would push me to scam people probably, even though i'm a good person in the US and I would never do something like that of course. When you're hungry and your family is dying and losing their home, things are different.
If the west cared about older people getting scammed, maybe they should stop destroying the land in Africa and let the people decide if they would like socialism instead perhaps. This is what they were going for before getting sabotaged by world governments. Or at the very least have a capitalist system with strong socialist policies like in Europe for example.
@@trentfreeman2373I agree. All the family did was post pictures of themselves and it got used.
While I agree I think people who scam ill people are 100 times worse.
"I can fall in love with a woman in one day."
Scammer: "Say no more..."
Yep!!!
Flattered by the most basic of praise.
This person is hurting, which makes him gullible. He needs an advocate that will help understand that all of these people and groups are scammers. Best of luck Andrew.
He's an incel who hates women. Don't feel bad for him.
I believe it makes him vulnerable .
He could meet with a disabled support group lots of people have lost a leg and move on to have a productive life but he needs to get off the computer and go out
@@isay207I agree. He could be doing more. He's in a challenging situation and needs to get the right support and make an effort.
It's a reason it doesn't feel right, because it's NOT.
That isn't love, it's infatuation with a picture of a stranger, just like teenage girls with posters of pop stars.
I still have my poster of Sophia Loren.
He thought he had a younger woman moving in with him. Then reality appeared.
This poor man, I feel for him. He's been made to feel useless after losing a leg. There are many women out there who would treasure him. I hope he finds one.
I would be inclined to take his side of the story with a pinch of salt. People who go through life changing injuries can completely change in terms of their personality, even becoming intolerable assholes. I don't think anyone should feel the urge to stay with someone if they stop being the personality you used to know, no matter how tragic; although I respect those who do.
I'm not saying this guy was like that, but you only have his take on it so we don't really know what the dynamics were truly like.
Me too. His ex wife was evil for leaving him. She could have at least stuck around as a friend to help him. Scum
@@katthefantastic you don't have her side of the story though. People can be inclined to twist the stories to their advantage.
Lol nah
Why the hell do you feel sorry for a dirty creep like him?
I actually feel bad for this guy. Because this woman looks realistic. Like someone who might actually talk to him. He’s already lost so much I hate that he got scammed. 😢
She wants to be a wife. Whatever that means. It's awesome how those guys are able to say everything that their victims want to hear.😂
When they say that it is definitely a scam, I hate scammers with a passion
The wife leaving him was worse than the scammer imo. I wish him the best and hope he finds genuine love.
“I really want her to be real…”
As my dad always said, “yeah? And people in hell want ice water!” 🤣
damn i actually feel bad for the victim for once, usually the victims seem pretty delusional and even narcissistic, feeling the need to brag about their intelligence and how great they are but this poor guy... i understand why he fell for this scam. He seems so sweet, I hope he actually finds a person who will give him the love he needs :(
I do too
I agree 100%
He shows more actual narcissist traits than what you "think" someone with NPD is
vulnerable/covert still counts
We should all reach out and be this guys friend. He seems like a good dude
when you know you're not handsome but they do then that's a red flag lol
This man seems like such a sweetheart 😢
He deserves to meet someone who will make him happy and treat him well. I really hope he finds that.
IDK, I was trying to scope out his surroundings and it doesn't look good. He obviously invested in a new shower curtain to cover something up and the rest of the area looks like was a dump 50 years ago.

They always ask "Are you eating?"
Are you eating tho?
Who cares ? Oh, wait... the pizza delivery is here!
It's crazy at his age he don't know the difference between love and lust ....
I had a friend l who joined a dating site (about 15 years ago) who got fed up with seeing all the clichés like: "I love to walk on the beach at sunset, holding hands, going to the movies, and cuddling my love while enjoying a good drop of red".
So she set up a parody profile listing all the clichés like that. She expected to be ignored for being so obviously rude, but instead she was flooded with men saying: "oh my god, me too! We have so much in common, let's meet"!
That annoyed her even more, lol. She didn't meet any of them!
I really wanted this comment to end with your friend meeting the love of her life 😢
Except for the walk on the beach men like that exist.
Hahaha
I'm a guy and I did exactly the same thing. My parody profile was a total creep, and he got more likes than my real profile.
Ok that's actually funny as hell

Damn, his “wife” . I’d love to hear her side of the situation because there’s always 2 sides to the story to reach the truth.
I was checking comments to see if anyone considered his "wife." It sounds like wifey just dipped, didn't even hang in there while he adjusted to his new condition. I would've liked to hear more on that too. Some people can be extremely difficult to take care of when they get sick.
