My favorite of all of the Crossings in the video is the East Cabot St. Crossing, the one with the Crossing Tender. That's my 3rd favorite Rail-Road Crossing overall. I was annoyed though when I rail fanned there back in late March 2023, that both Trains did not have any Double Decker Coaches. I'm glad that they got rid of the Single Level Cab Cars last month so now each Train has at least one Double Decker Coach, Sooner or later, I'm going to go back to that crossing and record a new video.
My favorite railroad crossing is 2nd Street in Chelsea because there’s a lot of horn shows at that crossing. Also, I’m sorry that it’s not a Beverly crossing. It’s my favorite.
It’s all good, I hope to get out there for some crossing clips soon. I’ve got plenty of train videos from there, I’ve just never really focused on the crossings there before
Hello, first time watching one of your videos! Im in southern California but gonna be in Boston for a bit, i have always found commutor railroads passanger operations intresting, do you have any advice on trying to see some mbta m of w operations? Thanks! Also, is there anything on mbta to not miss?
Funnily enough, I just traveled back to the Boston area after visiting family in Southern California, haha. My favorite parts of the MBTA are the various extra trains and equipment moves with unusual consists - hard to predict far in advance but I’ll normally hear last minute if you’re interested. Weekday rush hours close to Boston also don’t disappoint !
Wow! That’s a very great catch!

I as well like that crossing. It has unique feature compared to other local crossings
Excellent video my friends
Thank you !
Wonderful video .😊
Thanks very much
OMG I GREW UP IN BEVERLY THIS MEANS SO MUCH
I’m glad !
It’s crazy how there’s so many quiet zones.
As someone from Beverly there are no spots where the train should honk their horn
Most of these look like they're near residential areas, where noise is required to be limited
Awesome video I might have to check out some of these spots.
Thank you - there are certainly some nice spots
Behind dharma uveitis nights always always happened when the black one was made known about kids movie 🎥 trains 🚂 one time 😅

@@rail_spike_productions Ok, thanks! Ill keep that in mind! I think it would be cool to see the GenSets since they are quickly becoming a rarity
Yes for sure. Unfortunately both of their gensets haven’t run in over a year - they’re shut down and stored at the maintenance facility in Somerville.
@@rail_spike_productions aww, thats a bummer. Thanks though!
@@rail_spike_productions Are you on discord?
