- In this tutorial I will show how to manually knit a 1x1 weaving pattern. No punch card required! You can see pictures of a Chihuahua dog sweater I knitted using this technique. Go to my home page and click on the Community tab.

This is a fabulous technique completely new to me! Spinning is my main love and I have so much nice hand spun yarn but I am a slow poke hand knitter and a procrastinating weaver. I can't wait to try this! 💕

I actually like the "back" better than the "front" reminds me of a reversible shell crochet look

Hello Pamela! You are most welcome! As a matter of fact the wrong side/purl side of the weaving method is usually what is used in a knitted pattern. If you go to my channel home page, click on the community tab and scroll down a bit, you can see an image of a little chihuahua dog sweater I knitted using the purl side of the weaving pattern. 😊

hi, I have a really bulky #6 yarn, would it work with really bulky yarn? The video is so helpful, thank you very much!
Hello! Yes you can certainly use #6 as your weaving yarn because it is not knitted, it only rest on top of the needle shafts.
