All your hooks were closed. I have a Bond. About 25 years old. Not loke yours. Thanks
Hi, I have not mentioned it in the tutorial but when I use the latch tool cast on I often will close the latches manually so the yarn doesn't get caught on the hooks while I cast on. The latches are always open when the carriage passes over the needles, on this knitting machine anyway. 😊
Question? All the hoojs have to be open, after u knitting are the hooks open or closed? Thanks
Hi, as you move the carriage on the needle bed, the latches of the hooks will remain open. 😊
Would you use this for a v-neck collar? If yes, can you show how?
Genius, thank you for sharing!!!
You are most welcome, it's nice to know my tutorials are helpful to others. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you so much for this. This quick and informative tutorial is EXACTLY what I was looking for. MUCH APPRECIATED!
You are most welcome 😊
Where did you get the graph paper to do this pattern on?
Hi, the graph paper was in a book I borrowed from my local library and I made photocopies. I think you can Google knitting graph paper and you can download for free at some knitting websites. Yes it is very useful to have when trying to figure out shaping, nice to have a visual of what's on your creative mind before the actual knitting. 😊
I was wondering, if you do tuck every other Stich. And knit the tuck sticht manuele. Are you not quicker done?. 😅
Thank you so much for your succinct instructions! This helps me so much! 😘
You are most welcome Maggie 😊
This was AMAZING! Thank you so much!

Thank you for your very clear demonstration, I’m a new machine knitter and finding the whole process. Very confusing. I’ve watched other videos and I just could not grasp what was been shown, I thought it was me , until I found your very clear demonstrations and now I fully understand what needs to be done. Thank you again
You are most welcome, and thank you for your positive feedback it is greatly appreciated. I'm happy to know that my tutorials are helpful to others. I remember being intimidated by my knitting machine and struggled to find clear tutorials to help me. That's why I created this TH-cam channel. Enjoy! 😊
So, if we want a bigger circle can we just add onto the pattern by three's?
Hello again, yes you certainly can increase the size by three or more if you want an even larger circle. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
You are most welcome 😊

Carol you saved me again. Have not used my machine for several months. Thank you soooo much to help me know how to cast off😅
Hello Beverly, lovely to hear from you again! I have myself watched my own tutorials when away from the knitting machine for a while 😄 They are a nice little videos reference library 😊

Your are most welcome 😊
Very clear
Thank you for your feedback it is greatly appreciated. If you go to my home page and click on the community tab and scroll down you will see images of a little dog sweater I did using this weaving method. Let me know what you think of it. 😊
If I wanted to make the circle bigger would I just increase the cast on by 3 and keep the pattern of row 2 and 3?
Hello, yes if you increase the amount of stitches you will create a larger circle. If you maintain the short row pattern of three you will have to add two rows and this should create the same angle pie shape but larger. 😊
Thnku this video was very helpful would love to see more like this one ❤
Hello Kate, thank you for your positive feedback. I'm happy to know that my tutorials are helpful to other machine knitting beginners. To view more videos go to my channel knitting on the hook. 😊

Can you show me how you knitted it
Hello Mary, if you check in the description below the video I have written the instructions to knit this pattern. 😊
Carole... Need help.... Can you please let me know when and with what type of cards or patterns do we use the buttons on the carriage. Moreover, I am a bit confused about how we distinguish among different stitches like tuck fair aile and other stitches...
Hello Rewa, correct me if I'm mistaken but it seems that you don't have an instruction manual for your knitting machine. If you do not, I have attached a link where you can download a copy and read about how to use the punch cards with your machine. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.knititnow.com/ManualAndDocuments/BEDC6F24-5056-A02D-DF97-A81728B574B1/brother-kh-user-guide-guide&ved=2ahUKEwiO9vSF57b-AhUKHkQIHT6nDhgQFnoECA0QAQ&usg=AOvVaw1vF9b9_UvEACQd14UY96bH If you still need help don't hesitate to ask, hopefully I can answer your questions. 😊
Helllo Carole..... I do have the same model i saw this video of yours which I found very interesting and helpful as I was facing problem while using punch cards. Some of my needles were not getting knit properly.... But as I am a novice in this arena.... I want to know the basic difference between tuck and weaving..... Which buttons on the carriage are to be used with which type of punch cards????
Hello Rewa, I was about to answer your question by referring you to the tutorial but I seen you have already found it. I hope it was helpful and answered your questions. 😊
Thank you so much for the information.....
