That is totally disgusting, I have a friend that works at TH-cam as a Manual Monetization Verifier, I Will make sure this video reaches out to TH-cam and hopefully get that guy removed from the platform.
So I’m not entirely sure how copyright laws work in Canada, but i know as a fact that in the U.S., false DMCA is strictly illegal. In fact, you can actually reverse legal action against someone who claims false DMCA. Its all in the copyright act of 1976. Who knows? Maybe Canada might have something similar. You could really shut this guy down if there is.
i feel like fighting against these scummy people in legal court is a waste of time and money. Yeah we will win but for what and what cost? Would be nice if youtube can just deal with it themselves first

@@count_dcinamon There is a huge issue with the copyright system but I believe slowly but surely you tube will deliver what is required to stop the system being abused so easily. In the meantime, if rancid developers like this see that Bigfry has taken legal action against others in the past then I imagine it would make them think twice before trying their luck as well.

And get away with it it’s pathetic. So if TH-cam removes it with the strike, and returns it after the info comes out from the emails. You still take a hit regardless. What I don’t understand... anyone who’s anyone knows how BigFry covers games with honesty. Why are they so surprised and mad all the time???
TH-cam has to do it. If they knowingly let material of a potential copyright violation stay on their platform, their entire platform is at risk.

Their entire system is designed to get content creators to shut the hell up about things they don't want them talking about. They could easily change their system to make it strikes aren't permanent so that when false claims are made, it isn't held against you.

I'm an indie Dev and this is sad that, people are going this low. I know you might not respond but, I am hoping you still plan on doing early access videos, because my game won't be a copy and paste game and I hope you can check it out next year when I hope I can get it announced. So please still make videos of early access games because some of us devs are actually trying to make a good game, don't let douche bags ruin it for you and us

Go directly to his website's hosting provider and get his game and site taken off the internet (the equivalent of what he is trying to do you and Syi).
Also, contact Steam directly and get his game pulled from there as well.

Send the reports to Steam. Steam has a habit of banning devs from the platform because of crap like this.

a) In the police station there is a poster stating "20,000 Crimes solves" which is a poster made by Crime Stoppers, hasn't been altered at all.
b) In your original video at 2:39 the building has "Defence Force Recruiting" with the Government Crest on it.
c) All the logo's he's used are from real brands, he just changed "Woolsworth" to "Coolsworth" but the logo stayed the same. Fairly sure logo's are copywriten on their own.
d) In their trailer they have a 360 view of a Ford Ranger pick-up truck, complete with RANGER in the Ford font and the blue Oval (Res isn't good enough to see if it says Ford or Forb)
