Awesome sitting in the shade of those majestic trees… wow. Good advice on litter issue too…we should all only leave footprints and take only memories. Thanks for sharing. Hope to be there in December 22.
Great video Ed your comments are spot on👍love the views they are really beautiful your very organised looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful videos 🌺
TH-cam content at its absolute best! Perfect mix of footage, b roll, voice. Just ace. And you’re a natural at talking to the camera! Can’t wait for the next one
Thanks for sharing Edward .Looks like you were realy enjoying the trip.Elephant sands to me is very special we never pass it on our way into Botswana .Best when it is dry season .All off the best to you .
Thanks for watching Sarel! It was an amazing trip🙌 I definitely agree that it’s better in the dry season but always great! all the best to you too Sarel.
Excellent story telling bud. TOPS. and thank you for putting this one together and taking us on our adventures. Nice one mate. Looking forward to the next one as always
we did the Gweta oopsie as well... drove in from Kubu Island through the bush to find that the fuel station was not operational, that was back in 2016 though... Tracks4Africa did not update the status on their app so we had to lug it all the way back the Nata with empty Jerry cans and just less than a quarter tank left in a Jimny... was a bit stressful as the Jimny has the aerodynamics of a brick (plus a loaded roof rack) and the fuel gauge went down like watching the seconds hand on a clock.
It seems like it’s a common problem, some years I’ve filled up at Gweta no problem but it seems to be a consistent problem nowadays! Sounds like an awesome adventure though 🙌
Cheers for the outstanding vid, Edward mate. I could almost taste the potjie you made! We are locked down here in New Zealand because of the China virus, but your beautifully filmed videos keep us sane. And envious!! Wish we were in Botswana. Looking forward to the next one. I see Christoff in the back ground. Please give him my regards. I follow him and do enjoy his work. God bless, Dave.
Hey Dave, thank you so much for the kind words and support🙌 I really appreciate it 🇧🇼 I will certainly give him your regards, he’s got some great reviews coming up soon on the campsites that we stayed in, best regards and keep safe!
Hey Edward, I met you guys at Khama Rhino sanctuary three weeks ago. Headed out to Baines a couple of days afterwards and we also saw lion's spoors just when you enter campsite 3 I think at Baines. Must have been quite a sizeable male. Will send you some of my favorite reclusive Namibian Campsites. Keep up the nice video's, they're magnificent!
Hey, it was awesome to meet you at Khama 🙌 that’s really cool, we also thought it was a large male, so this confirms our findings, how was Baines? I would appreciate that thank you🙏 thanks for the kind words I really appreciate it!
Ed, Thanks! I love your vids and I think your expressions on litter were really important! Come on okes, make it lekker for all of us. I am planning on going here thanks to Ed, Chris and Ryan. Let´s keep it clean. I plan to.
Hey boet, I've been watching your overland videos and thoroughly enjoying them. I noticed you asked for suggestions and I've thought it would be great if you could include maps into your videos which show your route
Hey bud! Thank you so much for the awesome comment and recommendations! I’ve been adding maps to my recent ones after someone said the same thing, thank you boet!
Hi Ed, fantastic vid btw. Quick question; I see you have a Landcruiser and I assume it’s an automatic? How does the auto gearbox handle sand and also towing an off-road caravan? Did you get an additional cooler for your gearbox? Also, have you changed the suspension on the Landcruiser?
Hey thanks very much for the kind words and for watching! It is a 6 speed automatic and it handles the sand perfectly! I use it in manual mode to save fuel and have no additional cooler, everything runs cold even in extreme heat. I have changed the suspension to an old man emu BP 51 shock and coil setup!
Thanks! The audio issues are when filming with the Go Pro, the second you up the DB in editing it breaks the audio up, the only alternative is to fit an external mic to the GoPro which I plan on doing in the future.
I don't know how I missed this one. As always tremendous. I wish I was there (soon is the plan).
our country is beautiful
It certainly is!
Great videos

Hi Christine! You book through the Xomae Group website🙌
Isn't a club..I would love to join a trip like that
Great video! what are your mavic pro camera settings? Are you using polar pro?
MORIMOTO KENYA Thank you so much! Rules and regulations state that you are not allowed to fly a drone in Botswana so no Drone was used on this trip.
