    Enjoying your videos. As a SA living in oz and not being able to travel for 2 yrs it’s great visiting all my favourite places thorough your videos. Nxai Pan is one of my favourite places. The secret is to sit at the large waterhole and let the game come to you. Elephants, lions, cheetahs. Seen them all while just sitting quietly. Lanner falcons are common too. Campsite 10 is my favourite spot too. Have had elephants walk right through on many occasions. Thankfully get to go bush in May.

    The best camp trip buddies I am always on the look out for videos. With our camper trailer as the one towed in the 200 Land Cruiser, I always watch the videos with my wife for recipes and best food to carry. One of our best camps sites had been Santa Maria, Mozambique. Keep it up gents...blessings

    Ed, as you know I was there over the same period as you guys and I did not have any issues with T4A on my Garmin DriveSmart™ 65. Even on the dodgy tracks in Chobe, around Kwai and inside Moremi. It was spot on every time.

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Niel, have you disconnected the Garmin maps and are only running the T4A maps on the garmin? I’ve found out now that if that’s the case then the T4A works perfectly 🙌

    • @nielmalan5224
      @nielmalan5224 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, That's correct. There were some issues in Namibia though, when I ran both the Garmin maps and T4A Nam maps...but what the hell even a bit of getting lost in those areas are awesome!

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Niel Malan getting lost is definitely part of the adventure!

    • @GetOutGO
      @GetOutGO 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I must say I haven't had too many issues on the app (IOS). Sometimes camps' GPS coordinates aren't correct though (like Baines campsites). Thus not a software issue, just not correct.

    Quick question on the LC200 and the various road conditions/ portages etc. apart from usual sand Tyres deflation, did you make much/ any use of low range/ central diff lock and the various low range modes that come standard with the vehicle? Specifically also in the water crossings? Couldn’t find any specific comments made in the video?

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Cheryl! I engage the centre differential lock as soon as I hit any dirt road and on this specific trip I did not use low range

    • @cheryltrankle9038
      @cheryltrankle9038 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EdwardBath Thank you, useful. Not sure when your timing was, and whether you have a separate gearbox temp gauge? my concern would be hot, very loose sand and although high range copes, gearbox could be working really hard and hot?

    As always Edward, another great video. Thanks to binge-watching your videos I was convinced to get my own Jetboil Flash which is enroute (courtesy of Takealot). But now, I have a question. Do you guys also use the jetboil for hot water to wash dishes, cadac gas cookers or, to save gas, do you guys just use cold water, potent liquid soap and elbow grease to wash dishes? Your videos only show the alluring elements of safari life but none of the menial camping tasks like crushing tins, smart litter and washing dishes after those gourmet bush meals.

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sean, thank you so much for watching all the videos and for the kind words! I hope you enjoy your JetBoil 🙌 we have gas geysers in our off-road trailers connected to 5kg Cadac gas bottles to wash up dishes🙌 I will be doing a trailer and vehicle walk around video soon explaining all the ins and outs.

    • @EdwardBath

      Hi Sarel, I generally take the rooftop tent on the car for the 1 night stopovers on the route, it’s much less work than the trailers to set up so for the 1 nighters it’s works well!🙌

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Howzit dude, thanks but your comment doesn’t come across as constructive it comes across as aggressive and as far as I can see you are the only one with a problem with this video. The reason why I don’t have more views is because that’s how TH-cam works, in fact this has the most views on my channel. All us Overland Vloggers get the same views so your point doesn’t make sense, let me remind you that you are getting this content for free and no one is paying us to shoot a certain way out there so then why do you have the privilege to dictate how I do what I do, you watch that entire video which included some insane visuals of elephants drinking at a waterhole and then you pick out the negatives? Rather come back with constructive feedback, there are plenty of people commenting here who love the show so what do you mean but “the only reason I would bother commenting” anyway dude if you like the content subscribe and come along for the journey and yes I do try my best to listen to my audience ( the ones who put down respectful and constructive comments) and improve every video.
