Generally their live performances during this time were facemeltingly good, technically sound and well up there with the peak pumpkins tours. Strange how for the most part they were panned by critics
The Pumpkins had like 3 peak moments for me, and this is certainly one of them. They sound really tight here. New songs are as awesome as the new lineup, and Billy's voice is still excellent. The other 2 peak moments would be the classic era; Gish - MCIS and Oceania era, which is a completely different band, and I think is the last great era.
It never gets old. When you had the chance to see them live in 1996 (NZ Supertop) MC & IF Tour... you are hooked for life. Rock and Roll HOF? Who cares. JIM JIM JAMES DARCY with all the musicians thay kept our Pumkins Smashed alive and well for nearly 30 years.
Well I just started watching and he's terrible during Today lol. The thing is I love when Billy sings badly. I know he took singing lessons, and developed this vibrato thing a few years ago, but I like when he goes off key. That said, he's not trying to be and can't be the punk he was from 92 to 96, I get it, I'm almost 50 now and don't do things the way I did in my 20s. Anyway, I kind of agree that the band sounded great during this era, Billy just never seemed to get into it like he expressed in 2005 in that newspaper article. I saw him before Oceania in 2011 and he looked like he was having fun again.. then he decided Mike and Nicole had to go, lost his gf and the next few years he kind of lost his way.. Monuments is the last sp record I'd listen to. His recent output, including the solo and acoustic work is awesome. I wonder if his kids are playing guitar yet. Holy shit Billy Corgan has a real walking and talking kid lol.

This is really great, what a good concert and great sound
As the World's biggest Pumpkins fan even I have to laugh at these costumes. Corgan & Co. treading dangerously close to Spinal Tap territory here.
Nice. The one and only time I saw the Pumpkins live was during the Zeitgeist tour. They were awesome. This was a great iteration of the band.

Crowd is genuinely into it
Pinkpop is always solid

OMG one of the best SP shows ever. Back w a vengeance in 2007.
17:16 now we know it was the Dutch fans who pioneered yelling "HEY!" during the pauses in United States :)

wow, what a nice performance
Glass & the Ghost Children is Amazing!!!
Real shame Machina doesn’t get much of a showing in setlists.
This was a very good performance 🤘🏻
I think in 2007 Billy did his best live vocals.

Ginger was so cool. Pity they dropped her.
Who is the goddess on bass The band is is on fire amazing
That is Ginger Reyes (now Ginger Pooley)

Looks like a Hispanic Gina Gershon. Me likey!
I hate it when bands play their hit songs way too fast. Feels like a rip off.
