Firstly there is no infrastructure in Pakistan for electric cars and it will take years probably decades to develop extensive infrastructure. Secondly the cost of electricity is too high for people to afford cars running on electricity. The only cars that will have some market in Pakistan are hybrids

Government needs to encourage and promote EV Taxis in the country by offering incentives and reliefs. Should be quite cheaper and comfortable for the end customers. Small EV cars could be ideal sharing Taxis in big cities ...
