Thank so much for your content! Your channel helps me a lot to train the NVC language as in your movies you often use real-life situations and observing how you go thru this process is a great example! I've posted it recently already under one of your other videos but maybe this way it will jump to the top of your list: I would love to see how you resolve a conflict in a NVC-way within a couple where one partner would like to start a family and the other one is not ready yet.
Thank you for all your videos, they have been extremely helpful in my life with being in touch with my feelings and needs and expressing them in a NVC way. Waiting for part 2.
Thank you so much for this guide to moving through jealousy. It's like wanting from a place of abundance :) We don't have to think of it from a scarcity mindset like "the more you have, the less there is for me." Because there is plenty success, and plenty joy, and I want everyone to have success and joy. 💕
I find the NVC needs most helpful. Also, I do not experience jealousy as fear - I usually experience it as joy - “If that person achieved this amazing thing I can too” - but if I experience it negatively then the feeling is sorrow, mourning a need that is not met and a preference that can never be fulfilled in the particular form for which I felt such fondness.
Thank you very much for the nice videos that you freely share on your website. I've been involved with NVC for some time now and a few days ago I was looking for inspiration around jealousy. I was delighted to find your videos around this emotion and even happier to discover that you also distinguish between 'jealousy of what others have' and jealousy out of 'fear that others will take something from you'.
You announce a video "fear of others taking something from you". Do you still intend to make/post this?
I like the idea of understanding that jealousy is just a sign of a need I need met. I like the idea of looking at it like if it happened for this person, and that person then I’m just next in line (as in law of attraction). Lastly, I like the thinking about if we get something too easily it’s possible to not trust it. All good ways of thinking
I just thought of another other idea!...A video where you translate a snippet of a popular text from jackal into giraffe! There is this widely-used self-help personality system called "the enneagram." It's very insightful but the verbiage is so jackal sometimes! I suspect is does harm as well as good. I've often thought, "I'd love to translate all of this into Giraffe language!" I am still learning NVC though and wouldn't quite yet trust myself with such an endeavor heh.
Thank you for you invaluable content! Do you mind sharing a link to the other video about jealousy if it's ready? I've been looking for legit content regarding jealousy in relationships. Thank you :)
I will! I havent had the inspiration so far, but if you are on my email list you receive an email with each new video? You can register here: cupofempathy.com/
Hi there! Unfortunatelly, I don't see the video linked for how to move through the other kind of jealousy where you're afraid to lose something. I'm currently in a relationship where my partner is very jealous of me having male friends and is basically wanting me to not see them at all and I'm trying to find a way to help him through that.
Im sorry something came in between and i ended up never making that one, but thanks for letting me know that this might still be useful. In the meantime, there is a free webinar for love relationships coming up, and there is a Q&A where you can ask any questions. If you want you can come and i could help you a bit on the way with this. This is the link if you are interested: cup-of-empathy.webinargeek.com/nvc-for-love-relationships-6

Great because I'm jealous of your boyfriend.

The word for the survival type of jealous y is not jealousy. English fails .
