@olivercole4470 Not really. After you beat Mr. Carpainter it’s mostly just a novelty. It’s good protection if you’re fighting against an enemy with electric attacks but that’s about it. Mother 3 is where it really had its most prominent role, but of course that isn’t where it came from.
Unpopular opinion but I feel like items have gotten too strong, annoying obnoxious as the the series went on, in Smash 4 and Ultimate you have stuff like the Beetle from Skyward Sword and Gust Bellows which are just unfun to play against. I won’t list them all but I just wanna say that in the next Smash items should get nerfed back to Melee levels so they’re not OP or instantly kill you. Also shoutouts to the Kirby Parasol in Melee and it having unique animations for every character’s slow descent with it, I love seeing Captain Falcon use it.
Eh, I prefer the items from 4/Ultimate to those from Meele, levels the playing field. And, if you don't want one item you can just toggle it off in the options, win/win.

The Super Pickaxe could have a smaller hitbox because it is much smaller than the hammers by default, while also make you run faster to make up for the shorter range, and maybe this one has no chance of failing at the exchange of being harder to control, and would be funny if just like Dedede, if Steve uses the item, he would be wielding both his pickaxe and the item xd There's no such thing as a Pink Gold Metal Box, PGPeach is Peach's golden form like Gold Mario and Silver Luigi, and they get that from the Golden Flower, which could actually work as an item because Smash already has a Golden effect where the character gets very powered up without becoming heavy like with the Metal Box The Wing Cap would be cool as an item that lets you glide like Steve in Ultimate, and the winged characters in Brawl
