1:08 Fun fact. If you throw King Bob-Omb off the mountain, he'll jump back up and tell you that you must fight fair! He will go back to needing to be thrown three times if you do this.
It should be the other way around 💀
*YOU MUST FIGHT WITH HONOR!*
@@SqweegeeYT *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*

King Bob-omb: YOU MUST FIGHT WITH HONOR! IT IS AGAINST THE RULES TO THROW THE KING OUT OF THE RING!
Also King Bob-omb: *THROWS MARIO OUT THE STRATOSPHERE*
2:08 the fact you even heal after eating him is just embarrassing.
I know it's a kids game but that's ridiculous
The game had boss fights?
*her
I guess that’s the joke, the boss is so pathetic that she helps you accidentally.
Lol fr this boss is a joke 💀
Whenever a game focuses more on accessibility than difficulty, you're definitely going to come across some very pathetic boss fights.
Games made for kids. It is what it is.
You don’t want to make a game too hard, or else people won’t like it and you’ll struggle to sell it.
@@joshslater2426 cuphead
@@elpiedra1596 ye that's what the Yoshi games are supposed to be imho, easily accessible for young kids
@@joshslater2426I hate the way you think. Some people like actually challenging themselves while gaming, not just breezing through it.
12:40 - Fun fact: In all Bowser Jr.'s Battles on the DS (just unmasked), if you time your jump right, you can take down Bowser Jr. without touching the ground, as it takes you long enough to hit him on the vulnerable side between recovering (when Bowser Jr. appears knocked down on the ground face up) and hide in his shell (the masked one takes longer to recover, that's why you can't with this one)
15:26 That piggy bank has some moves! That drip music also slaps. But how’d it beat Black Shy Guy (aka Anti Guy in past games) when it wasn’t directly attacking him? Must’ve died of cringe.
The Piggy Bank is the weakest Thing Card, and the Black Shy Guy still got killed instantly.
Piggy explosion if I had to guess
Honestly, in a game where your battle success already depends on which disposable attack cards you have, I’d cut the guy who dodges everything except Thing cards a little slack.
The Piggy Bank just dancing to a funk (I think) theme is so random, and it's hilarious, especially out of context.
Those moves were so fire the black shy guy had a heart attack
You mentioned O'Chunks from Super Paper Mario. Chapter 7's boss is also pathetic if you use Luigi. You're intended to throw the ice crystals back at it, but if Luigi super jumps under its neck, he'll get stuck on the ceiling and do endless damage until it dies. Always knew our boy in green was capable of such awesomeness.
Gee, now we know why Nastasia gave him the anti-hero moniker of Mr. L.
I mean, it’s the Devil VS the Chaos Heart Antichrist, what were we expecting?
...so, he ends up winning by doinf basically nothing?
Good ol' Luigi
It’s insane how easy Hammer Bro in Mario Party DS was, especially since the boss right before it was sheer torture if you couldn’t button mash. That Piranha Plant was a nightmare when I was younger…
Same with Dry Bones
Let's not forget the Kamek Boss fight minigame
Can't argue with Pom Pom/Boom Boom, Pom Pom won't even make you lose lives lol she'll just *give* you lives. Boom Boom is even simpler, jump on him, run away from him, jump on him, repeat.
At least it is possible to die to Boom Boom without trying to.
At least Boom Boom in SMB3 actually attempted to be difficult, since later worlds had him change his tactics.
I will never understand the thought process behind Yoshi’s Story
@@lordofdogz Tbh most of the Yoshi series feels like preeschooler intended

4:46 I'm sorry but are you calling me and my brothers pathetic?
You can be defeated by a single stomp. A stack of you just requires one ground pound.
I mean they got beaten by apples. That's kinda sad
To be fair, he called regular Goombas pathetic, but dark ones like you are harder to beat
@@bleurdreemurr4277 oh true
Luigi beat you by throwing fruit, you're threat level is that of a mosquitoe
All the other weaker mini bosses throughout Mario history were total amateurs. Most powerful heroes were expecting some other bad guys would give them some real challenges in order to test the limits of their strengths, but instead, the other powerful heroes get a fight that's barely even worth a warm-up.
what is bro on about?!
Game Grumps described the Goop Piranha’s in Sunshine or tutorial and starter bosses in general easily during their sunshine playthrougth
“I am here for you to Kill, My life SUCKS”
4:27 the bug thing: "YOU KILLED MY KID"
Mandibug after that: IMA KILL YOU!
(Gets stomped) Arrggghh I’m so weak
*Precedes to charge forward in the exact same way*
I'd argue that Pom Pom is even worse than Boom Boom, because you can get a lot of 1-ups by just jumping on her shell after you jump on her head.
In fairness to the _Mario is Missing_ bosses, they're in an education game (one that wasn't even made by Nintendo, no less).
4:46 i feel this one would just be fun tho
While it is easy it is kinda fun ngl
Boom Boom can get out of control if you don't finish it quickly in Smb3
Starts moving unpredictably
The Pom Pom fight in 3D land, once u stomp her, u can jump on her shell, since she follows you, if you’re jumping on her shell she’ll stay in one place and you can easily stack up lives.
12:45 No job is too big, no plumber is too small!

I can agree Monstar's fight was pathetic.
i literally beated him in two jumps paired with two Power Plus' and a single move from Watt.
Dude, how can you not include Reznor from NSMB2??
Why specifically NSMB2?
Bro is easy even in SMW
@@gboogie3257dare I say easier
@@gboogie3257It's easier because you can use the raccoon tail to knock them off the rotating platforms instead of hitting them from underneath
Because it's actually a fun and interesting boss fight even in its simplicity
@@URFTBOUND4LIFE …You can do the same in world too? Just with the cape
The piranha plant from Yoshi is pretty Pathetic if you can get to the right spot with at least one egg
That is basically a cheese tactic rather than the boss itself being easy
Fun fact in the pom pom battle there’s a way to get a lot of 1 up in the battle of super Mario 3D land .
Pretty sure the giant eye was designed like most Mr. eye enemies
It's literally just a giant Mr I, but it's oddly treated as a boss solely due to it having a star
@@cosmicdunsparce Honestly, calling that particular Mr. I a boss feels like an insult.
When Super Mario 64 was new, it was a lot more challenging. Most of us weren't used to using an analog stick, and I remember the depth and sensitivity learning curve involved in it. But now, most of us have had years of experience with it, whereas before Mario was always played with a D-Pad and always 2D.
15:27-15:44 I did NOT need to see that
Yes, you definitally needed to see his break dances
I did
some days ago i was playing yoshis story and the cloud character said i couldent lick him and i was stuck until i tried licking it
I wonder how many people will be ticked that you got exactly one melon among all those apples. :B
I forgot if there was a secret thing when getting every favorite fruit except one that is the melon. Iirc this situation or something similar does something good
@P0chuL1ver it's if you get only melons that you get a score bonus as well as a melon instead of a heart in the background at the end of the level. There's different challenges in the level that if you fail, you can no longer get all melons. Favorite fruit is just to give you more health if you eat it
@@demetreasandrews thank you for enlighting me! it's been awhile since I played Yoshi Story 😂
I managed to almost die from Petey when I first fought him
What about King Goomba (Goomboss) from Paper Mario 64? He and the goomba bros fight together. If you hit the tree, a goomnut falls on both of them and takes out the goomba bros in one hit. Then King Goomba is not much of a challenge, and you can easily finish him off.
He is a tutorial boss, he is supposed to be pathetic. And isn't that ridiculously easy.
13:22 he literally needs magic to be any good
The giant Mr. I that holds Big Boo's Haunt Star 6 should have had you have to run around it three times. I know it wouldn't change anything, but it would fit the Mario 64 Boss formula of doing the exact same thing three times to beat them. Maybe make it shrink with each time around to fit in with the other bosses in Big Boo's Haunt? Or heck, maybe make it grow to make things (relatively) harder in the already cramped space of that room.
4:42 Oh, yes. I remember this strange tower.
Could had also mentioned the Giant Goomba from NSMB World 4, it's literally just a Big Goomba that you don't even need to use the switch platforms to get over him, you can just walljump and do it more easilly, and it even has some blindspots.
Also the World 1 Castle Bowser Fight of the same game, as they even gave you a platform to jump him over easilly, and also just a spam of fireballs can also suffice, specially in a game with inventories and 2 hit tolerance for power ups.
Every boss from that game becomes pathetic when you bring a Mega Mushroom and crush them out of existence with your pasta-powered behind.
It would be much harder if you use Mini Mushroom.
I feel like this is a tennis match with Whoisthatgit
I watch that guy's stuff a fair bit. Outside the swearing, I love his Creepy Bad Endings series.
6:23 The same goes for Dream Team Bros. & Paper Jam Bros.
9:44 You should've show cased that you can farm 1-Up's there if you just jump on her shell. (That's how I farmed 1-Up's in this game as a kid)
10:29 Nice taunt on him.😂
The wierd thing is that some consider Antasma X a harder fight than Bowser Jr.
@@julienbronsch5039 I disagree. I think BJ is a little bit harder than Antasma X.
@@Nicl-As-05 I disagree as well purely because of the insane amount of time the Bowser Jr. takes to defeat if you dont know his gimmick
@@julienbronsch5039 Another reason what makes BJ harder is that you can't just practice against him, unlike Antasma X. Let's also not forget the turn limit.
Well, to be fair, you kind of are just the best gamer ever
Cloud N Candy: Im too sweet to lick!
Proceeds to lick
I’ll be honest, as a kid, I couldn’t figure out how to defeat Petey on my first time fighting him. Felt really good when I did figure it out
4:51 You can't even stomp on the Goombas here, like you could in literally EVERY Mario game ever.😅
Mario 64 bosses were hard back in the day.
You have to remember 3D was new and the controller new and unique.
It was difficult to wrap your head around after only playing 2D platformers
Cloud N Candy: I'm so sweet, you can't lick me. *burrrrp*
Yoshi: Hold my eggs. Let's go boyz.
*Yoshi eats Cloud N Candy In 5 licks*
Yoshi: MMMMMMMMMMM, that was so scrumptious and such an easy win. That is the most pathetic N64 boss of all time!!!! Subscribe to Nintendo Untiy if you agree.

@@hedgehogpower194 IDK. I just like it.
1:08 ain't no way blud dissed my boy, King Bomb-omb like that 💀
some of these im willing to excuse, mainly in cases like Monstar, where the point of the “boss” is that its either a fake out or its for story
also when i was a kid hammer bro beat my @§§ i have a hard time remembering sequences without repeating it out loud and kid me didnt know to do that so kid me would struggle to remember the pattern and get hit by the time i figured it out (this only goes for the final hit btw)
Huh, I guess I needed to get good if I died to the mandibug stack in Super Mario Galaxy
No there is no way you died to the Mandibug stack you jump and ground pound twice that’s literally it how could you mess that up three times before doing it twice?
@@SylviaGrome yes I know, it’s a massive skill issue on my part
I wonder if anyone will ever be able to make custom bosses in the Super Mario 64 engine. While it wouldn't be the most original, I think it'd be interesting to either make upgrades to some existing bosses or make boss versions of some enemies that didn't get bosses, perhaps in the manner of the bosses that hold the keys that unlock the other characters in Super Mario 64 DS? Chief Chilly in particular comes to mind, though admittedly that's largely because I'd just finished watching the segment of this video about the Chill Bully when I paused it to type this.
Mario Party DS's Hammer Bro was kinda hard for me when I was young
Mandibug Stuck are not pathetic. They're just mini bosses, so is Mr. Eye, usually mini bosses are easy to defeat.
Cloud N. Candy was a boss that made me cry tears out of laughter as a kid. His face and noices always got me, he was just designed to be a complete joke.
I’ll defend the first Petey Piranha boss as it’s a decent challenge (at least to an idiot like me who can’t play that well). Same with the Proto Piranhas, as they get gradually more difficult. Same with Boom Boom & Pop Pom, as their bosses have small changes.
2:13 Cloud N. Candy's all like: "Not like this! Please, God _NOT LIKE THIIIIS_ !"
4:22 You know that Nintendo made an embarrassing excuse for a boss when the game couldn’t even be bothered to play the boss music.
Pom Pom is miserably easy. It pains you to have to beat the pulp out of them, especially because it’s sooooo easy…
The spinoff we never knew we needed
How can you leave out Baron Brr?
It’s at least harder than Dino piranha
@@speedymatt1236 Dino Piranha is the first boss
You forgot narvel piranha from yoshi's island
The actual boss itself can be pretty tricky, you're thinking of a cheese tactic rather than the actual boss fight.
I would shred those timpanis as a percussionist myself, Hammer bro would probably drop that jaw of his
Why is the final Bowser boss fight from Super Mario Galaxy 2 not included in any of your "pathetic boss fight" videos?
He can’t damage you at all. If he punches through the sphere you’re on, you just move to the next closest one. He’s basically just a punching bag.
1:25 You can backflip behind him?! 😱 All this time, I’ve been running in circles around him! I just assumed he’d immediately turn around if you tried that!
Black Shy Guy from Color Splash = Sans. 1 HP but can dodge attacks.
that paper mario boss, is just plain horrible beating them, even Tho that attack looks amazing, it dose 1 damage LMAO!
What about the bosses from Hotel Mario?
im having deja vu
"I JUST BEEN IN THIS PLACE BEFORE-"
"HIGHER UP THE STREETS"
I used to struggle on hammer bro from mario party ds so much, bc my touch-screen on my ds had a hard time registering inputs
boom boom: literally cant damage you and dies in 6 hits
spoopy eye: stares at you and dies from turning 360 degrees
frozen bully: dies in one move
king bob omb: old waddling grandpa
cloud N' Candy: eaten alive and turned into free healing
Monstar: made of scared children
Polluted Pirahna Plant: you dont have to use 5% water to beat him
two enemies stacked on top of each other: hardest boss of all time
five enemies stacked on top of each other: he turns into 6 enemies stacked on top of each other on the 2nd phase
durmite X: dies before it can attack
O' Chunks: he runs, he jumps, and he has 20 hp
Petey The Pirahna: inflation fetish
boom boom (again) and pom pom: die in 3 hits each
larry koopa: his spin attack is as fast as you... while your tiny.
hammer bro: memory game but you have more hp than the boss
black shy guy: dies to a dancing piggy bank
Petey is more inflation fetish.
One of Nintendo's favorite fetishes besides fursuits.
There is a reason the P balloon exists. :V
@@NisseDood tru, don't even get me started on bowser's inside story
If you include a boss from Super Paper Mario on this kind of video, it should be Bonechill.
Fun Fact: If you have the Tanooki Suit, you can hit Boom Boom before he spinning.
You could include most Mario bosses in this game since the whole thing for nearly every single one is just “jump on its head three times and then it’s dead”.
12:57 mario murders bowser completely and says thats a so nice
My head: did bro just solongybowser him?
oxygen: am i a joke to you?
I’ve recently beat Baby Bowser in Yoshi’s New Island. I’m surprised he isn’t in this video. It’s just the final boss from the original SNES/GBA game if it was being nice to you.
Ice Bully is so easy that I once beat him accidentally after being launched off the ice water and pushing him off the platform with my frozen ass.
As a kid I had no idea you could defeat Mr. I by running around it until I played Mario party 3
4:41 Mario Party Island Tour was so bad 🤦♂️ Despite that the bosses and minigames were fun
8:40 "That was unnecessarily graphic."😰
The funniest part about boom boom in SMB3 is that 1 HAMMER can kill him
Monstar was meant to be a subverted expectation gag boss.
came here to watch "the most pathetic mario bosses of all time", had to watch "evolution of Boom boom and pom pom battles in mario games (19XX-2012)" at the middle of it
Just an idea you might want to try is to make a video of the bosses which take the longest to beat 🤔
A Boom boom “boss” in 3D world took only one hit
5:03 having tried in practice i found its actually the 2nd hardest in island tour actually. (It took one attempt like 4 of the others, but i was almost KO'd, like a pixel of health remaining). I think difficulty is subjective.
Since you included a Yoshi game, what about Dumb Drum from Donkey Kong Country or all the bosses from Super Mario Bros Wonder
I think the Beanie boss from New Yoshi's Island 3DS castle #1 would fit.
Let’s just take the first boss of the game meant to teach players how to backflip/precisely move in the first 3D Mario game ever and call it easy. Yes. It is in today’s standards, now that it’s COMMON to have to control multiple axes. Back then, it was disorienting to learn controls like that
2:10 the only danger about this boss is cavities.
But the final Boom Boom fight, along with Fury Bowser, is admittedly not half bad
pig breakdances
explodes
To be fair to Super Mario 64, King Bomb Omb SHOULD be that easy... It's the very first boss of the very first level of the very first 3D Mario game ever. It wouldn't make sense to make it hard when you're literally introducing groundbreaking technology (at the time) to people, kids specifically who don't understand a thing about it yet. Even with it's ease factor it's more then sufficient due to it just being an iconic moment of the 64 and gaming as a whole.
They also put the boss with the two bugs in Galaxy 2 as well
Me at the first boss in the video: Oh brother this guy stinks! Roy (the first boss in the video): How dare you say that ya moron! I'm the most fearsome koopa in Mario history! Look, I can prove it to you, okay! *A few moments later after Roy defeated Mario* Roy (Holding Mario's hat): See what I did to Mario ya dummy! Me: Oh so you stole Mario's hat, well, big deal you fatty! Roy: I ate Mario in the elevator ya dumbo! Mario (Inside of Roy): Get-a me-a outta here-a! Me (in fear): Okay I'll never underestamate you ever again! (Runs in fear) Roy: Moral of the story: Never make fun of a boss' difficulty. (Burps loudly)
The first fight with Lord Crump in TTYD is basically easy. You can beat him in just 2 turns by attacking, super guarding and attacking again. Then after completing chapter 1, you can grind tokens to get a bunch of Power Rush badges for Mario and bring him down to 5HP to make him OP. You can cheese every boss this way.
This is tutorial boss, so has excuse
It's literally a tutorial boss you encounter like 5 minutes after starting the game. Of course it's easy
Tutorial bosses don't count. More often than not, you're scripted to win in those cases, even if you do very badly.
Also, although many of the bosses in TTYD can be exploited using "cheese" like that, that does not mean the boss fight itself is easy.
Let's assume you do not use that cheese, does that make the boss fight easy? Not necessarily, in most cases. In those cases it would come down to a matter of skill.
Sometimes they’re meant to be easy just so kids can learn the ropes of the games.
That first galaxy one counts as boss? Wow..
Cloud n candy trolled me so hard as a kid. It said “you can’t lick me!” So I thought I couldn’t lick it 😂
4:25 this miniboss isn't pathetic! It's trying it's best
Shout out to those Rino babies in New mario bros 2. SO EZ
Some bossfights: We are capable of destroying the universe and are incredibly challenging, even though we might not even be the final boss.
These things: i cant even deal a single damage to the player and die faster than the console's battery pls help
If Boom-Boom and Pom-Pom appear in another Mario game as boss fights, they should be given s such damage Mario, so you can't cheese them, you have to wait.
Most 2d and a lot of 3d mario bosses need this because they are just so easy to chain attack that the boss gets to do nothing.
I dunno why Nintendo refuses to make bosses that are not pathetic in their 2d Mario games.
If they at least could make them as good as Donkey Kong 2 bosses, but instead they are all stuck as DK1 bosses.
4:50 I think I beat this boss when I was playing 1-2 of Super Mario 3D World
Sometimes i forget how pitifully easy the Mario games can be
I don't want to sound like "Mr.Mature Adult Man" because I'm 17 but: Do you realize what's the age rating in most of Mario games?
The real challenge was playing those games as a 5 year old that doesn't even remember what does every button and focus on doing the right inputs to beat every boss
14:03 I remember that as a Kid, this boss was a real pain in the ass for me. Maybe because I have ADHD and I wasn't able to concentrate with the pressure of the music, see which drums he was touching in the upper screen, so then I could touch them back in the bottom screen before that gray note could hit me 3 times to lose the fight.
