1:08 Fun fact. If you throw King Bob-Omb off the mountain, he'll jump back up and tell you that you must fight fair! He will go back to needing to be thrown three times if you do this.
King Bob-omb: YOU MUST FIGHT WITH HONOR! IT IS AGAINST THE RULES TO THROW THE KING OUT OF THE RING! Also King Bob-omb: *THROWS MARIO OUT THE STRATOSPHERE*
To be fair to Super Mario 64, King Bomb Omb SHOULD be that easy... It's the very first boss of the very first level of the very first 3D Mario game ever. It wouldn't make sense to make it hard when you're literally introducing groundbreaking technology (at the time) to people, kids specifically who don't understand a thing about it yet. Even with it's ease factor it's more then sufficient due to it just being an iconic moment of the 64 and gaming as a whole.
12:40 - Fun fact: In all Bowser Jr.'s Battles on the DS (just unmasked), if you time your jump right, you can take down Bowser Jr. without touching the ground, as it takes you long enough to hit him on the vulnerable side between recovering (when Bowser Jr. appears knocked down on the ground face up) and hide in his shell (the masked one takes longer to recover, that's why you can't with this one)
It’s insane how easy Hammer Bro in Mario Party DS was, especially since the boss right before it was sheer torture if you couldn’t button mash. That Piranha Plant was a nightmare when I was younger…
Funny enough though, that same boss came back on the second game and actually got boss music. Guess they got too many complaints about not recognizing the duo as a boss.
15:26 That piggy bank has some moves! That drip music also slaps. But how’d it beat Black Shy Guy (aka Anti Guy in past games) when it wasn’t directly attacking him? Must’ve died of cringe.
Honestly, in a game where your battle success already depends on which disposable attack cards you have, I’d cut the guy who dodges everything except Thing cards a little slack.
You mentioned O'Chunks from Super Paper Mario. Chapter 7's boss is also pathetic if you use Luigi. You're intended to throw the ice crystals back at it, but if Luigi super jumps under its neck, he'll get stuck on the ceiling and do endless damage until it dies. Always knew our boy in green was capable of such awesomeness.

I still cringe at myself. Don't know what was my problem with it, maybe the journey to get to him was too large, or I didn't know that I had to ground-pound it.

some of these im willing to excuse, mainly in cases like Monstar, where the point of the “boss” is that its either a fake out or its for story also when i was a kid hammer bro beat my @§§ i have a hard time remembering sequences without repeating it out loud and kid me didnt know to do that so kid me would struggle to remember the pattern and get hit by the time i figured it out (this only goes for the final hit btw)

All of these are acceptable entries, except however the boss from Bowser’s Inside Story, thats not a weak boss your just overpowered way past the expected level when you first encounter it. Of course its gonna be a knock-out with the more leveled up bros.
The giant Mr. I that holds Big Boo's Haunt Star 6 should have had you have to run around it three times. I know it wouldn't change anything, but it would fit the Mario 64 Boss formula of doing the exact same thing three times to beat them. Maybe make it shrink with each time around to fit in with the other bosses in Big Boo's Haunt? Or heck, maybe make it grow to make things (relatively) harder in the already cramped space of that room.
I’ve recently beat Baby Bowser in Yoshi’s New Island. I’m surprised he isn’t in this video. It’s just the final boss from the original SNES/GBA game if it was being nice to you.
I wonder if anyone will ever be able to make custom bosses in the Super Mario 64 engine. While it wouldn't be the most original, I think it'd be interesting to either make upgrades to some existing bosses or make boss versions of some enemies that didn't get bosses, perhaps in the manner of the bosses that hold the keys that unlock the other characters in Super Mario 64 DS? Chief Chilly in particular comes to mind, though admittedly that's largely because I'd just finished watching the segment of this video about the Chill Bully when I paused it to type this.
Cloud N. Candy was a boss that made me cry tears out of laughter as a kid. His face and noices always got me, he was just designed to be a complete joke.
No there is no way you died to the Mandibug stack you jump and ground pound twice that’s literally it how could you mess that up three times before doing it twice?
Cloud N Candy: I'm so sweet, you can't lick me. *burrrrp* Yoshi: Hold my eggs. Let's go boyz. *Yoshi eats Cloud N Candy In 5 licks* Yoshi: MMMMMMMMMMM, that was so scrumptious and such an easy win. That is the most pathetic N64 boss of all time!!!! Subscribe to Nintendo Untiy if you agree.
Roy just wasn’t feeling it that day, alright? His landlord kicked him out, his girlfriend dumped him, and he found out Bowser wasn’t really his father. Luigi just showed up at the worst time.
Won't lie, the Hammer Bro minigame from Mario Party DS was extremely hard for me when I was young because my memory is that bad. It was a miracle I made it past that dreaded Piranha Plant boss though.
The first fight with Lord Crump in TTYD is basically easy. You can beat him in just 2 turns by attacking, super guarding and attacking again. Then after completing chapter 1, you can grind tokens to get a bunch of Power Rush badges for Mario and bring him down to 5HP to make him OP. You can cheese every boss this way.
Tutorial bosses don't count. More often than not, you're scripted to win in those cases, even if you do very badly. Also, although many of the bosses in TTYD can be exploited using "cheese" like that, that does not mean the boss fight itself is easy. Let's assume you do not use that cheese, does that make the boss fight easy? Not necessarily, in most cases. In those cases it would come down to a matter of skill.
In DS Bowser Jr.'s defense, his masked battles gave me a lot more trouble since I had trouble stomping on the shell, which is the normal requirement to beat him if you didn't bring a fire flower.
I think the main reason Mario games are difficult is because your able to play with 4 people, which makes it both easier and difficult considering u cannpick up and throw ur team mates.
I actually lost the first time I went up against Petey Piranha in Super Mario Sunshine. In my defense I was using a damaged controller and I was 4. Beat him the second time, though.
If Boom-Boom and Pom-Pom appear in another Mario game as boss fights, they should be given s such damage Mario, so you can't cheese them, you have to wait.
Most 2d and a lot of 3d mario bosses need this because they are just so easy to chain attack that the boss gets to do nothing. I dunno why Nintendo refuses to make bosses that are not pathetic in their 2d Mario games. If they at least could make them as good as Donkey Kong 2 bosses, but instead they are all stuck as DK1 bosses.
The black shy guy in Color Splash is also unable to dodge attacks that hit all enemies on screen like the pow block for example. Just FYI for you if you haven't seen it for yourself 😮💨

Monstar was meant to be a subverted expectation gag boss.
15:27-15:44 I did NOT need to see that
Yes, you definitally needed to see his break dances
I did
You did. Don't lie.
In fairness to the _Mario is Missing_ bosses, they're in an education game (one that wasn't even made by Nintendo, no less).
Easy bosses are like a breather after a very hard time out there
Fun Fact: If you have the Tanooki Suit, you can hit Boom Boom before he spinning.
Cloud: You can't lick me!
Yoshi: Wanna bet?
Ice Bully is so easy that I once beat him accidentally after being launched off the ice water and pushing him off the platform with my frozen ass.
Huh, I guess I needed to get good if I died to the mandibug stack in Super Mario Galaxy
No there is no way you died to the Mandibug stack you jump and ground pound twice that’s literally it how could you mess that up three times before doing it twice?
@@SylviaGrome yes I know, it’s a massive skill issue on my part
Cloud N Candy: I'm so sweet, you can't lick me. *burrrrp*
Yoshi: Hold my eggs. Let's go boyz.
*Yoshi eats Cloud N Candy In 5 licks*
Yoshi: MMMMMMMMMMM, that was so scrumptious and such an easy win. That is the most pathetic N64 boss of all time!!!! Subscribe to Nintendo Untiy if you agree.
What
You had me but then you lost me
Why are you roleplaying in youtube comments
4 some reason, I think cloudncandy can be improved by making him be able to attack with yucky cloud tufts
@@hedgehogpower194 IDK. I just like it.
Bros comment was sponsored by Nintendo Unity 💀
4:42 Oh, yes. I remember this strange tower.
Mario Party DS's Hammer Bro was kinda hard for me when I was young
Mandibug Stuck are not pathetic. They're just mini bosses, so is Mr. Eye, usually mini bosses are easy to defeat.
The Polluted Piranha Plants are probably “Mini Mini-Bosses
The first fight with Lord Crump in TTYD is basically easy. You can beat him in just 2 turns by attacking, super guarding and attacking again. Then after completing chapter 1, you can grind tokens to get a bunch of Power Rush badges for Mario and bring him down to 5HP to make him OP. You can cheese every boss this way.
This is tutorial boss, so has excuse
It's literally a tutorial boss you encounter like 5 minutes after starting the game. Of course it's easy
Why is the final Bowser boss fight from Super Mario Galaxy 2 not included in any of your "pathetic boss fight" videos?
He can’t damage you at all. If he punches through the sphere you’re on, you just move to the next closest one. He’s basically just a punching bag.
4:27 the bug thing: "YOU KILLED MY KID"
Mandibug after that: IMA KILL YOU!
(Gets stomped) Arrggghh I’m so weak
*Precedes to charge forward in the exact same way*
13:22 he literally needs magic to be any good
Well for the black goo polluted piranhas are like the better version from their other coloured goo counterparts while just having more HP
that paper mario boss, is just plain horrible beating them, even Tho that attack looks amazing, it dose 1 damage LMAO!
The mario is missing bosses aren’t weak, luigi is just too strong for them
I used to struggle on hammer bro from mario party ds so much, bc my touch-screen on my ds had a hard time registering inputs
The funniest part about boom boom in SMB3 is that 1 HAMMER can kill him
I actually lost the first time I went up against Petey Piranha in Super Mario Sunshine. In my defense I was using a damaged controller and I was 4. Beat him the second time, though.
Well, to be fair, you kind of are just the best gamer ever
You forgot narvel piranha from yoshi's island
The actual boss itself can be pretty tricky, you're thinking of a cheese tactic rather than the actual boss fight.
Watching this after the really hard bosses video is especially funny
That first one is just the 1-up trick but easier💀
Dang not that perfect four legged moonwalk! That enemy didnt stand a chance
I feel like this is a tennis match with Whoisthatgit
I watch that guy's stuff a fair bit. Outside the swearing, I love his Creepy Bad Endings series.
Pom Pom is miserably easy. It pains you to have to beat the pulp out of them, especially because it’s sooooo easy…
"Look at this! Pathetic!" - that one woman from the Big Nate cartoon.
I would shred those timpanis as a percussionist myself, Hammer bro would probably drop that jaw of his
The black shy guy in Color Splash is also unable to dodge attacks that hit all enemies on screen like the pow block for example. Just FYI for you if you haven't seen it for yourself 😮💨
A Boom boom “boss” in 3D world took only one hit
