Perhaps in terms of being extraordinarily accomplished woman in the sense that she is extremely intelligent, has her own company, then yes she has set the bar high. As a subsaharian african living in Morocco I can tell you that they're a very welcoming nation. The King always foreigners well being on mind. I've always been well treated by the Moroccan people and my Moroccan friends have always responded present when I needed help. I've been living in this beautiful country for 8 years now.
You should look Surya Bonaly. She competed in the 90’s and is famous for doing backflips in her programs. Backflips had been banned since they required a two foot landing, so she started doing them and with a one foot landing.
Never give up! Have goals in your forward view and work consistently towards reaching those goals. Beautiful talented lady give her respect and appreciation for the endurance to overcome criticism and disliked by some judges and regular people too.
As a grandmother of 2 young figure skaters, I applaud all of the positive comments. As a retired physical therapist, I applaud those who recognize the intense training of body, mind and spirit to reach this level of accomplishment. We need to recognize the risks of injuries, aches and pains now and later in life. She spun so fast in her jump that I wasn't able to count the number of 360° turns!
I can't imagine what they go through. My feet are so, sooo messed up from the years & years of dancing & running- which I don't do anymore. Having to wear a stiff, tight skate & preform jumps like that, that's gotta take a toll.
Absolutely amazing, she is such an inspiration, so intelligent and beautiful. I love her style and I’m so happy she didn’t let the ice skating snobs get her down , shes brought a different type of energy and style to skating making it more enjoyable to watch, as a fan of skating for many years I definitely started to get disinterested by it but now after Maé-Bérénice has brought her own skating personality to the sport I’m glad to watch again. 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Mabel Fairbanks (November 14, 1915 - September 29, 2001) was an American figure skater and coach. As an African American and Native American woman she paved the way for other minorities to compete in the sport of figure skating such as Tai Babilonia, Debi Thomas, and Naomi Lang.

I can't think of her name but she is the Next Simone Biles of skating. She is changing the game of ice skating with her stunts. She is a beautiful skater but they will try to take that away like they do with Simone.

These are world-class skaters and the first several names are the best in the world, and the first name is the best ever. If you want to love a skater just because they are black, I would refer you to Vanessa James a Canadian pair skater who is far more beautiful as a skater than this girl

My cousin is black I have black family members and I'm telling you this it has nothing to do with the color of her skin or her hair. She is not a world-class figure skater and she will never be at the top because she just does not have what it takes to be a top-tier figure skater.
