Product Review: Wagner Flexio 3500 Handheld Paint Sprayer

DIYer here. Just used this to redo my cabinets. Got it on sale for $150. So much better than brush and roller. So fast and easy to use. I’ve used it twice now and it was great both times. Hoping as long as I keep it cleaned it will keep performing. Time will tell!

Adding a little water helps it spray better. 20% water usually does the trick

@@jameselloko6365 paint can be thinned, but it depends on the paint you use. Water based can be thinned with just water. Check with manufacturer of the paint being used- typically it will say in the directions on what to use to thin the paint.

No need to thin. I believe it says you can but it’s not needed. I’d have to look at the instructions again but I did not thin my paint when using the sprayer.

Do you recommend mineral spirits to clean the spray gun out?

It depends on the type of paint you use. The paint will specify. For this video we had water based paint, so it was only water clean up.

That is a paint funnel filter you can get them from you paint store or local big box store ie : lowes or Home Depot

This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever used. Using an old dried out paint brush will get you far superior results. It is a low quality product that makes a joke of Wagner’s name.

You got to learn how to use it, practice before in a piece of cardboard once you get the moves try it on, it does give pretty descent results..
