Anytime. Make sure that the cedar plank isn't to long otherwise the lid won't close all the way because of the holder hooks. Do a dry fit before cooking. I learned that the hard way

You can reuse one more time if not burned to much
What temp is your grill at when you were cooking?
Around 350 is best for this cook
