- Finally got my car on the dyno. Super happy with how it performed. It beat the old LSJ tvs record by just under 1 hp lol. But super happy where its at for being a sbe car. its a blast to drive.

Damn my old SS has a TVS in it and I never knew. I was wondering why I was putting car lengths on my friends’ SS and I always thought it was because it was catless, had a full exhaust, and an Injen Intake but now I know 🤣

@@jasonwiddowson8892 What is the record dyno numbers on a LSJ W/ the TVS ? I know the M62 record is 349whp xouldnt ever find the info for TVS 1320 or TVS 1900

Hello, the cv axle of your cobalt has not been broken, why did the crane take mine already when he brought it back I drove it and throne the cv axle on the passenger side and it replaced it but it broke again, do you have any ideas for that problem

Why the mid length headers over long tube?
Honestly at the time just because I found a used set for sale. But I'm happy I went with them. I like the powerband I have.
Fair enough, I got the 1.75" longtube headers and in the midrange it is noticeably stronger than my stock header..anything is better than stock lol

How muxh power do you think the ported head added?
Honestly can't give ya a exact number. But imo it's a big Peace to the puzzle when trying to build a powerful sc lsj.
@jasonwiddowson8892 found some numbers on zzp website, looks like at .450 lift on intake you gain about 22 cfm and same for exhaust side 22cfm...better than sohc ford 2.3 lima heads...can barely crack 230cfm ported lol, I wonder what the gains would be like if lsj head can be ported to 280-300cfm. After market heads would definitely bring the LSJ into proper fighting weight territory
What's the redline set too? How unreasonable and unrealistic would 9k redline be?
Mine is 8k. There has been people in the past that pushed them to 9k+. I'm not sure what it takes to do it. But definitely possible
How did you do the balance shaft chain cut?
I did a electric water pump. So I was able to just take the timing chain cover off and snipped the balance shaft chain with bolt cutters
@@jasonwiddowson8892 Yeah I'm very interested in doing the same thing. Seems like this really helps with the upper rpm range. This also pretty much deletes the balance shaft as well, right?
@@scottlaird497 yea it does. One of the main reasons I did the ewp. Easy way to disconnect the balance shafts

2.7 I can't remember the boost exactly. I want to say between 20 and 21#

@@hybridyd1305 I just want to let you know that you're a sheep and you just follow what you see. I went faster than he did with his TVS blower on an unported m62. Where do you think zzp gets information from probably the old people before them have you not noticed there are a bunch of 20-year-olds. And for your information my cover photo is an 800 horsepower caliber I seriously doubt it. 😂
