- In this video I was underway for the part and I witnessed a live helo man down . It was so cool to see so I just had to share my experience with you all. I also go over some questions from previous videos. I hope you all are doing well with your journey so far. How are you all liking msc so far ?

Just finished binge watching all your videos!! Want to say I’m so proud of you🎉 I went to a job fair in Jacksonville last week and got offered an OS position just did all the blood work and drug test again with them. I’m waiting on my MMC credentials and they said to call them so I can get a NEO date!! Only thing I worry about is the clearance check cause I’m getting things saying they check the credit but they don’t!! Imma just be honest like you said!! Your videos are very helpful and informative!!! Loveeee how you’re honest about everything!! Looking forward to seeing more of your journey with MSC! Hopefully we get on the ship together!! lol but keep it up!! Your doing a great job 👏🏽 🫶🏽

Hi Tayy, I'm really glad to hear your experience with MSC is beginning to meet your expectations. I myself was just offered a Wiper position with MSC and I'm going through the wait-and-see post-application process like everyone else. Thanks for your candidness, willingness to answer your audience members' questions and words of encouragement to those of us who want to join the MSC crew. One thing I might suggest is that you use a written outline/script to help you get across the message you want your videos to impart and to keep you on point. You mentioned that you were going to discuss the pros and cons of working with MSC vs SIU since moving onto a new ship, but you really didn't follow through. That might explain why you had the drop off in viewers watching the entire video. For those of us that have followed you since the beginning, it also would have been nice to hear what you'll do after the ship you're on is docked in the shipyard. Why is your ship being docked in the shipyard? Will you be assigned to another ship? How long do you expect to be posted up in a hotel room until you sail again, etc.? Aside from that, you seem much more happier since you left your last ship. Keep doing you, stay hungry and keep up the good work with your content!

whats up tay i got a question for you i just got a offer letter from MSC for a wiper position i wanted to know about the pay i got offered #$35,000 but i know thats not including overtime but i make 5k a month at my job now do you know if its worth it to take the position as far as pay is it about the same or will i make a lil more depending on the ship
That choice is up to you and wat your willing to sacrifice tbh

I’m just patiently waiting on my neo date this process is soooooo tedious and long! At the beginning everything went by so fast twic, mmc, medical cert. but after I did my tb shot and drug test it’s been moving super slow but I’m going to stay patient

@@crishnaholmes7730 these content is in reference to MSC not SIU. I’m going into MSC.
But to answer your question, it’s both time about 25 -40 or 50 questions each I can’t remember. The reading is easy you ready short paragraphs and answer questions from what you read. Math is basic algebra, fractions, decimals, (adding, dividing, multiplying, etc) I hope this helps.
Look up SIU and you’ll see content for the SIU process
I got a question………..Say it’s your time to get off the ship but you choose to not get off the shit……will they give you another couple months of work or is it mandatory to get off once it’s your time to get off ?
When you get off the ship is up to you. In order to get off you have to put in a leave request at least 60 prior to the leave date that your are requesting

Hello Tayy, new to merchant marine, I just submitted my drug test & physical this week, excited to start,, how long would it take before I hear anything? I have my passport, already had my TWIC because I’m over the road truck driver; I filled my application for the credentials. I’ll be entry level, but I would like to work in the engine room, I have some school bus mechanic background. Thank You in advance!

Both engine and now deck employees coming in your automatically put in that program but I mean don’t pay attention to that tbh it doesn’t really matter
One quick question? While working working with msc do they hold yu for months and months after your contract supposed to end ? I been hearing a lot of things of that sort about them I got an email to join them do you think I should just being 100 percent honest
Stop listening to others that’s one and how long you are on the ship is up to you
I definitely hear them but I am definitely my own person man I put my application in it’s just a waiting process now .!! But I mad my decision to join if I get accepted
