Is good to acknowledge the situation but don't allow ourselves to build up ressentiment. You must just be awere. And if after talking about all this thing the persons shows non change, just move away in a mature and peacefull way ass soon as possible.

It hurts me a lot... being friends for so long with someone you care sooooo much. But when he is in trouble and you give a hand in anyway he just chose only what benefits him. Even if it doing nothing about the advices you are giving.
