I love that Tati mentioned using eyeshadow to fill in her brows. I use a matte medium brown shadow on my brows and it works like a dream. I use a stiff angled brush and it's so quick and easy to do my brows. No fuss, no muss. I also love that the powder provides a much softer look. I oftentimes find that pencils end up looking way too harsh and unnatural. I find that the eyeshadow is much softer and natural.
I absolutely love this series from you! You should do a video where you try out the makeup that your mom would wear. Like what you remember her wearing growing up.

Tati, you are definitely a Winter type! You have brightness to you and can handle quite some contrast as well as the delicate pastels. Pink is always lovely, and you sure know how to keep it elegant. Love you❤
Random tip: to use your regular mascara with the bottom lashes, take a small liner brush to the mascara wand, and go over your bottom lashes with it. Great control that way too.

I love the W&W dewy foundation. So affordable and nice. Right now I'm using Marcelle loose powder that comes in a huge container. Same texture as the Fit me. It may last a lifetime! Oh my Gosh I remember those tiny Maybelline eyeshadows I used in high school. Brands didn't make eyeshadow palettes back then.
WNW foundation never fails. Really dislike the smell, but the formula is great and they have the perfect shade for me! I just bought a Revolution foundation and should have stuck to WNW.

BUT, I’ve heard you mention a couple times now that you think you might be a Soft Summer. I have long thought that you are likely a True Summer or Soft Summer! But I’m wondering - why not just go get draped and find out? There’s an analyst in the Dallas area. I was draped back in 2014 (Dark Winter). It’s fun and interesting and I’ve found it helpful in building a more cohesive closet of colors that I know are more flattering for me. Give it a try!
Revlon discontinued their skin lights highlighter and I really have been wanting it since ppl say it’s a dupe for the new ABH highlighter the Amrezy looking one. I went to TJ MAXX last week and found 1 in my shade sealed for $4. It’s stunning. I was so excited. This video made me think of it. Love you Tati 🩷

Something funny. For primer I used vagisil chafing gel. It had the same ingredients as smashbox primer. I saw a vide maybe 10 years ago or more and loved it. Haven't used it recently but it worked so good.

I use a Bobbi brown brown shadow for that. I love it.
Same! I can't stand the harsh lines eyebrow pencils make so medium brown eyeshadow is the key for me. ❤

Back in the day before primers were ubiquitous, we used to use the Monistat Chafing Gel which worked very similarly to the original Smashbox primer.
Omg, we used that men's post shaving balm, as well! It was sold out everywhere for the longest time 😂
I used the monistat chafing gel as primer on my wedding day! And you know what, she got the job done!
