Well I haven’t gotten a chance to try yet, but I’m going back in forth on whether or not I should purchase the Guerlain Metorites! Has anyone in the comments gotten a chance to use this product? Is it worth the money? Does it really make a difference in your makeup? Or is it just Hype?

Tati, teenagers can’t afford Botox. Their parents are paying for it, which is insane! When I was a teenager, getting my ear’s pierced was what was going on in the 80’s. I can’t imagine…
Exactly! My mom wouldn't allow me to get my ears pierced. I had to sneak out to do it.😆
People really need to find something better to do with their time than to criticize how other people look or watching drama channels. You're so right - who cares what anyone thinks if you are doing your makeup the way that makes YOU feel good. I do what makes me feel good about myself, and the hell with anyone who doesn't like it. IDGAF because it makes me happy, and I allow everyone else the same freedom.

Chanel cream bronzer (the one in the tub). I use it about 3-4x/week and have done so for over a year and still have half a jar left, so even though it's expensive, you get a ton of product.
You just re inspired me to get back into it and really do my makeup again for fun and with patience!! ❤

I am 21 and although I don’t get Botox because WTF!! I have noticed that it is extremely normalized on TikTok and almost encouraged as “self love” to modify your body and face. I personally didn’t download TikTok until this past year because I knew it would make me feel horrible about myself! I would also note that it’s definitely not them paying for their treatments but their parents which is also super weird.
I have different experience. It depends on algorithm I guess, mine was all about: self love, body positivity all shapes and sizes, psychology, history, art, diy and lgbt ❤ when You see a video You dont agree with dont comment dont spend time on it because algorithm remembers that, just check-> dont recommend, few times and it should not appear anymore.

Botox is offered on Facebook as groups and yes, I was asked by coworkers if I wanted to go too and no I didn't not because I disagree with getting Botox young. I understand that it's a preventive procedure for wrinkles. Wrinkles are formed as a repetitive motion. no repetitive motion then no wrinkle. I didn't go because I care that this provider can't bill insurance and is back woods on multimedia. Red Flag Right? The Optical nerve is so close to the crow's feet. They can blind you!!!!!!!
I personally don't see what the issue is with fixing something you are personally self conscious about be that with Botox or anything right? But saying you need to get Botox is when it becomes an issue for me.
I don’t really think we should be normalizing Botox as “weird”. It’s not weird and lots of women get these treatments for many reasons. Normalization of cutting up one’s own body parts can be weird though.
As a female internalized misogyny can be a real thing. It’s ok to let women get Botox. It’s not weird unless it’s goes over the top, which I get.
It is however, expensive and I think that’s what Tati was talking about. It’s weird for kids that age to get Botox bc it’s expensive.

Dating myself…but when Redken had makeup in the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, I was a model for a Redken makeup artist instructor who was teaching the under painting technique. Used that technique throughout college and into the mid-90’s. Have used it off and on since then. Always happy when you showcase the technique.

You’re an OG Tati! As a 45 year old middle aged married mother of 2, I’m really enjoying you going back to basics and implementing your new tactics that you’ve learned from your past mistakes. As a matured woman, I had to learn how to navigate my makeup with my age. It’s all about LESS is more. And WHO said you look like Skeletor?! Puhlease! I WISH I had cheekbones like yours. Love you so much!
My favorite videos are when you teach because you are a natural teacher. Hmmm....most expensive make-up item?? Hourglass everything. I just LOVE the brand. Also realy liking (and testing) the Covergirl clean shadow quads. I approve mostly because they neither make my eyes itch or burn. Talc is a no-no for my eyes. Would Scott Barnes come visit in Texas? Tati, your foundation is so silky on point. I want to recreate this routine to see if it works for me. I have similar problem areas. As for young women getting Botox and fillers, I think it is great to love and pamper yourself but I wish those who feel they aren’t beautiful without it did not feel that way. I don’t have social media for a reason. People do not look like their photos in person (with all these filters and other photography tricks). It makes people insecure for no real reason.

The people who criticize influencers and others who have the courage to do TH-cam, TikTok, etc are just JEALOUS because they don’t have the strength and courage to open themselves up to the same criticism and trash they dish out.

When I used to have and make my own all natural beauty and skin care , I saw somewhere that you can use castor oil (teaspoon) and two capsules of biotin(puncture and squeeze out contents into the castor oil) and mix that fresh every day and use for brows and lashes and it actually worked. I went years doing that and making my own makeup and skin care. I have to say, I look much older now that I’m back to buying other peoples products. Natural , non harmful ingredients is totally the way to go.

The shade you use for contour looks so warm for contour but once you've got it blended and foundation on, it looks great.

I so needed this makeup therapy. I have been experiencing the worst acne breakouts of my life lately and have been wearing little to no makeup. Been about a month now. So sad. (This from a full beat with lashes every day kind of woman normally.) So I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this as if I were doing the process myself. I was so surprised that we use some of the same products even though you don't mention them often. That Dior eyebrow pencil is one of my favorites, and the Givenchy powder is one of my staples along with Hourglass Veil. Another funny thing, is I had for the longest time stuck to Milk Hydrogrip and more recently Milk Eclipse primer, but recently repurchased L'Or from Guerlain and asked myself why I ever stopped using it. It's firming, softly blurring, and hydrates beautifully.
Love seeing that you laugh about some people's drama, nonsense, negativity. Some people use others imperfections to make themselves feel better. Guess what....not everybody is perfect and not everyone is real and honest like you!!!

@@Bibblesupremacy1992 bronzor and contour can be interchangeable but in this case tati was clearly using it as a contour and her undertone somehow pulls it off beautifully. which my olive toned ass can't wrap my head around. It's not a comprehension of warmth that's the struggle, it's the usage and how it works for tati. it's amazing

The most expensive INSANE purchase has been Fude brushes from Japan. Natural hair handmade brushes. Makes me feel like I'm using the softest on my thinning skin as its more sensitive.

Lately I’ve been obsesseddddd!!! with the Unicorn Glow bloom lip plumper gloss, it’s a stunning plumping lip gloss that leaves my lips super duper JUICY and smooth it’s actually amazing. There is a little bit of a glitter that reflects the light in a stunning but not crazy way. And it’s drugstore 🙏🙏 I heard you can find it at some Walmarts but I’ve bought it from their website. I have no idea if you’ll read this comment but omg I just need to share this discovery with someone

Maybe it's not like something really expensive for anyone else, but... i used to have a Shiseido foundation that made my skin look amazing and i loved it so much, im thinking in repurchasing in it.
24:53 I bought an empty mascara tube and poured the castor oil in there but I diluted it with argan oil because it is a bit too heavy on its own and needs to be diluted with a carrier oil. You could also do the same thing with The Ordinary hair growth serum.

I've been soooo busy with doctor stuff and now Tati is keeping me company as I recover. I'm SO glad to hear you're getting your groove back and starting to feel your joy more. And omg,.as a fellow long torsoed lady, I feel your pain with bodysuits! I love them bc they look sleek and are great basics, but if they're not long enough they do get super uncomfortable in the lower areas and there's no choice but to cut them! (Sometimes a bra extender may work if you're willing to sew a hook and eye on them!)
Hi Tati! My lips have been peeling like crazy this season as well ! I love the idea of using the little scrubby thing to exfoliate your lips. I do a similar technique just with a damp wash cloth and some moisturizer, after using a sugar lip scrub. I think you have convinced me to order a new set of rollers also!
Mine too. I actually use my electric toothbrush over them really quick after I’m done brushing my teeth, lol
Also, not one of the 20+ lip masks/balms/oils I have was working this winter- so I did a deep dive researching ingredients and bought the new Ole Henrikson and it’s goood!! Not cheap but def recommend.
Inexpensive second, good for daytime option is the new NYX lip oils, they’re as good as the Clarins
I dont really wear any makeup anymore, except mascara but I still watch all your videos like I have for years! I put it on the background when doing chores or working out and your voice is so soothing and I just love it all!
Kevyn Aucoin was the one who taught Jlo the under painting technique. She even said so herself in her Vogue video…. Then whoever does her makeup after Kevyn passed away, still does that technique.

My favorite expensive (for me) product is the Malin & Goetz recovery oil for the face. I swear this stuff made my pores smaller & my fine lines near invisible. I have oily skin & this oil didn't make it worse. I love it!
