Every time I see this lady she seems filled bitterness and anger. If you go through life never accepting responsibility and blaming others it's disempowering. Those ending statements reminded me of that quote from Morgan Freeman, that the way to end racism is to stop talking about it. It's a shame that so many people try to fight racism with more racism and don't even realize the harm that it perpetuates to their own cause. She even included trying to demean Zuby as not being black for his thoughts on the matter. That kind of thing further reinforces the idea that the people that are holding them down are themselves. They drag each other down like crabs/lobsters in a bucket (crab mentality). One of the most notable people I've seen it happen to was Terry Crews, he made a tweet about being equals instead of creating black supremacy and some people were dragging him for not being black. It's so weird that this is even put on TV. Every time I see this lady she seems filled bitterness and anger. If you go through life never accepting responsibility and blaming others it's disempowering. I have been the victim of lots of racism and unbelievable amounts of homophobia in the past and thankfully not for many years. Those ending statements reminded me of that quote from Morgan Freeman, that the way to end racism is to stop talking about it.
It's a shame that so many people try to fight racism with more racism and don't even realize the harm that it perpetuates to their own cause.
She even included trying to demean Zuby as not being black for his thoughts on the matter. That kind of thing further reinforces the idea that the people that are holding them down are themselves. They drag each other down like crabs/lobsters in a bucket (crab mentality). One of the most notable people I've seen it happen to was Terry Crews, he made a tweet about being equals instead of creating black supremacy and some people were dragging him for not being black.
Also at the end when she focused on the word thug, it seems that she was projecting her own internalized racist connotations that she has with the word, assuming that others also come to the same associations with it.

It's so weird that this is even put on TV. I am convinced this put there solely to make a ridiculous position seem more normal than it is - even if most people would intuitively think like and agree with Zuby.
