So true. I've used the same arguments as Zuby, because they make logical sense, and it's never gotten traction. If you say "What if I identified as black or 6'5" when I'm not", they will usually retort with "That's different, that's not gender. Studies have shown gender dysphoria is legitimate while race or height dysphoria isn't" and they consider that enough of a rebuttal even though it makes absolutely zero sense. Ritual sacrifice, cannibalism, witch trials, and all sorts of horrible things from the past are beginning to make sense to me now. When you throw logic out the window and basically argue there is no objective reality, anything is possible.

In the last video I just watched she said she grew up as a strict Christian and condemned things like homosexuality and now she just said she always believed people could be whatever they want. Lies are hard to keep track of, I think it tells us a lot about her personality.

I recently had a conversation with a young person that went a lot like this. They honestly did not realize that people were biologically either male or female. They thought that some people have working testicles and ovaries. He also didn't realize that men were so much stronger than women, he thought it was just because men are encouraged to exercise. They are so confused and don't understand basic biological facts.

I once talked to someone who identified as non-gender binary. They were upset that a teacher had asked them to "misgender" a character in a short story. In our conversation I asked, "If a someone's personal identity is based on another person recognizing it, is it their personal identity?" A person who is Jewish doesn't need someone who is Muslim doesn't need another person to affirm their faith for them to be Muslim. This is a point that so many activists keep missing. It also makes me think that the "debate" in political circles is being used as a tool to justify censorship.

At the bedrock of this it’s the idea of “kindness over everything”. Most people don’t understand the complexities of true kindness. Sometimes kindness is staying firm and saying what needs to be said even if it’s uncomfortable. If your child wanted to eat candy all day, the kind thing isn’t to give them all the candy they want, the kind thing is to limit them and explain why eating too much is an issue. You see this dissonance at the core of feminism, where they always jump to the side of “kindness” without consideration of the complexities.

I don't think people realize that the different sciences will often use the same words to represent different concepts.
Biology lists man as the mature male human reproductive class.
Sociology apparently lists man as some sort of role that you play in society.
Psychology apparently lists it as your "gender identity"
The problem is that the latter 2 are based on information gathered about the first, so they come off as incoherent when used outside of their own field but the current push is to try to use those in the legal and colloquial tongues instead of the very obvious one that predated but aligns with biology.
The girl with the GORGEOUS super-long braids is constantly coming up against the logical fallacy of her positions. On an "emotional" level, she wants to be accommodating, but then picks and chooses to which things to hold as OBJECTIVELY true. The problem with accepting a lie, IRRESPECTIVE of how big / egregious it may be, is to sacrifice reality for fantasy. As we have seen getting pushed farther and farther, the moment we allow ourselves to perpetuate a lie as true.... there is no logical point at which it can be ceased. Never could I have EVER imagined, males in female sports, for reasons 100% of everyone knows, yet... here we are!
Perhaps you can provide another example. I recently came across one about a person who has anorexia. This individual perceives themselves as being overweight and desires to lose even more weight. How do we address this situation? Using the same logic, should we honor their feelings and assist them in losing even more weight, despite the fact that they are already malnourished and at risk of death? Or should we acknowledge their starvation and help them gain weight instead?
This argument is similar to the question of whether we should enable a girl to harm her body if she identifies as a boy. Alternatively, should we dismiss her assertion and instead assist her in addressing her mental health needs?

I realized recently that we cannot convince them of the truth, they're trying to convince us of their delusion.
The fact that this is even being debated is crazy. How could someone seriously believe that just because someone FEELS and IDENTIFIES as a woman that they are a woman. What's truly dangerous is not their apparent belief in such a thing. What's dangerous is their insistence that someone like me AFFIRM that it's true.
