Defender 110 Rescues Stranded Artic Lorry

Snow in Britain always brings chaos to the roads...
This Scania artic truck was caught out by the first snow of the year and without a towing eye in his tool box, we had to improvise, with a soft shackle round a solid cross member.
With the defender in low range first gear and the diff locked, the Defender was able to tow the truck to the top of the hill without a slip.
I’m sure the new Defender would have done an equally good job but it felt good to do it with one of the classic old trucks.
