Once again you guys are really the best bunch of people. Really appreciate how well you give feedback on these! This is now the second video I’ve made without really planning or taking to much time whilst filing. The next one I’ll be bumping it a bit. But the goal is to still have a format that makes it doable. I need to be able to film, voice and edit everything solo. From the back of a car. Therefor I try to not bother about all small details. On this I sadly exported with lower audio than I was supposed to. So definitely going to look at that next time 😅 thanks again for stopping by!
In hopes of saving you some researching time, I would recommend normalizing your audio so that it peaks at -1 or -2db. This is an easy step as long as there's a normalize function in your software and it'll get you consistent volumes from video to video, recording to recording, and without much fuss. Maybe throw a limiter plugin on the audio channel after that and push ~3 db of gain into it for a little extra volume control if you want to but normalizing is a good start. Best of luck, loving your work so far!
Just incredible! The footage, the storytelling, the ambience, the Land Rovers, Norway. Just a pure joy to watch your videos Kasper. Really keep on doing this stuff.
diversify your hobbies; hike, ski tour, make an igloo spend a night in it... and make it more interesting than just driving around and fixing the car. You have a talent for storytelling and your narration is brilliant
I've owned Land Rovers for decades, And I've been a professional photographer for 35 years. This series of videos is one of the best things on TH-cam. Even wanting to make me pull my LR3 out of mothballs and outfit it like I did with the two RR Classics. I got so cold watching this, I made a cup of hot tea! And I live in Florida USA! Beautifully done!
You live a life I could only dream of, yes the lack of comforts is a downside, but the freedom, the beauty, the adventure, just escaping people and the daily monotonous life would be amazing. My hobbies are also photography, driving and going to places few venture, so these videos feel even more relatable...
I clicked on this because of the a Land Rover thumbnail. What a wonderful video. As other people said, it's so very peaceful. Beautiful work, my friend.
That shot at 7:31 with the Land Rover at the docks with the boats in the Harbor, the snowy mountains in the backround is every overlanders wanderlust dream. Im so envious 😅
Fantastic. Your calm voice in combination with the nice stories and beautiful views and beautiful car is inspiring. A good thing to have this in a car world where manly things always have to be loud and extreme.
I discovered your content via Instagram reels in December last year and was so captivated by what I saw that I clicked on your bio and saw that you had a TH-cam channel. I'm glad I subscribed because this is amazing! The video quality, scenery and story telling is bliss. You have amazing creativity.
Thanks a lot for checking me out over the platforms 🫶 hoping to have some more time on my hands to make everything I want to this year! Been cramped with work, so haven’t gotten to create freely yet. But time will come!
Can't imagine what more time and effort these would bring and I can't wait to see what comes this year. These videos are already incredible to watch so thank you!!
Found this by chance, watched it, and immediately subscribed. and I have probably watched it 4 more times since then. The chill atmosphere, laid-back commentary, and amazing cinematography all come together so well! Checking your shop out next. Keep up the great work.
If this is the quality of video you can produce with limited time, money and effort then I cannot wait to see what you can produce with a little more investment. Your channel is going places, keep up the great work.
I have been on many solo missions (about 10,000km in all) in my reconditioned 1994 300tdi Disco off road in the Sahara. 5cm lift suspension. Steering and diff guards. BFG tyres. It goes where a Defender can go, as long as the drivers are good. Well done mate.
I deeply enjoy coming back and rewatching your videos, they make for such relaxing content, particularly when the weather gets fowl outside its nice to sit and warm to these. Thank you.
I am currently parked in Oslo with my Jimny which I drove up from Germany yesterday:) Your videos have given me the last push I needed to finally drive up here:)
@@kasperhoglund definitely! Been on the road for two weeks. I’ve taken your videos as an inspiration and I’ve seen so much of the beautiful landscape Norway has to offer, especially in the west:)
Such a nice town! Lucky we had a local to show us more than just the outskirts of the town where we got into the first hotel we found. Really liked the different parts of the city center with the higher grounds around the government buildings 🤝

Dear Kasper, I am so lucky to see the nice landscape around the Hardangerfjord and Hardangervidda in wintertime with you 🥰👍 I am from Germany, Hamburg and every sommer I travel to Norge and sleep in my selfbuild Dacia Dokker minicamper. I only knew Norge in sommertime but with your help now also in wintertime and it is so GREAT!!! When you want to take very nice photos, you could drive to Osa at Osafjord. It is near Hardangerbrua, near Ulvik and the landscape seams, as it is the end of Norge!!! A nice small valley is going up into the mountains with some waterfalls. Very nice scenery! But you couldn't go by car, you must walk! You are a great storyteller, please, please, please make more videos like this one 🥰👍👍👍 Greatings from Hamburg, Claudia
@@kasperhoglund The direction from Osa through the magical valley into the mountains is called "Hallingskeid". But with snow in wintertime it is to dangerous to climb the steep path, I think!

@@kasperhoglund That's how a native vlog style wins over a major TV production - you show the rest of us how it is, one clip at a time and masterfully so.
