Perfect timing, I have only blocked one thing ever because it was a cobweb and was way too curly and I pinned it onto my ironing board and sprayed it with water which I think is probably wrong looool
That’s not completely wrong! That can work for light weight items because it has a small surface area but a lot of people do that and then steam it with an iron/steamer instead which is just steam blocking 😁
It depends on the fibre. If you are using certain natural fibres such as wool they have a ‘memory’ of sorts and can retain its shape however acrylic yarn doesn’t and may have to be reshaped ☺️ you may not need to go through the whole process but making sure it dries in the right shape will help!

When you wash it again, do you have to repin it and dry it on a board again?
so every time my for example crochet top got dirty I have to do blocking?
