Hi, I thought there is a coupon code for babbel. I had an account already there, but I was never subscriped. Now I cant use this discount? Please help! I really want to use this app. ❤
I’m have a serious problem! I have a compulsion, to crochet some thing every day! I’m staying up really late lately because I just can’t stop. I mean I’m having fun and I’m still going to work and I’m still feeding my family but I seriously think I need a support group. And now I just came across this video. It’s going on 12:30 AM, and I just finished a set of coasters and a fidget toy, and oh no! I’m going to have to watch this new video!
These are fabulous ! Thank you so much for the mention, I’m honored to be included with all these fast and fun goodies! I can’t believe how alike Biscuit and Pickles look! 😹😽❤️
Wonderful. It is great to see things that don't take a lot of time. Projects done in one day, well of course I don't have time to sit down for 4, 5, 6 hours, but knowing it only takes that long means I can get it done in a week or less. Thank you for showing these projects.
Sitting here crocheting a baby blanket while my tabby girl is laying on my extra yarn, and boom, her twin pops up on the screen 😍🥰 kitties are the best crochet companions!!
Hi Elise. I am so inspired that I can hardly sit still! I had to go back, right away and watch this video a second time because you have so many wonderful suggestions! I wish I'd seen this video a month ago. I have a lot of people on my gift-giving list this year. I will, however jump right in and get going on it. You have something for everyone (just like you said). I adore that sweet baby turtle's face (the live one). What else.... I am also a granny square fan and can see myself in that giant g.s. cardigan (?). Well, I've gotta run! Merry Christmas!
You never cease to give great information delivered with enthusiasm and joy. I am so glad you saved that baby turtle. Some people are not aware that they are deaf. I loved you showing us Pickles, the Big Snuggle Kitty. I lost my snuggle Kitty a few years ago so I enjoy hearing you talk about your fur babies. Thanks so much for sharing the fun.
Hi Elise! Thank you so much for including my shrug pattern. It´s such a fun easy project that can be made in a day. I loved the patterns that you shared and I´m thinking about getting the book as well. I´ve been wanting to make one of those little animals forever. They are so cute! 😊
I made the costa beanie for a friend the night before an impromptu get together around Christmas and she loved it so much! My friends were so impressed with how it looked and had no idea I did it one night! I didn't have the Wool Ease yarn on hand so I used a ball of Big Twist Classic (Category 5 weight) held triple and it worked beautifully! I'm actually about to make one for myself because I loved it so much!
I don't know how I missed this video but I sure am glad to have found it! This video is filled with so many great crochet projects that are quick and easy but items that friends and family will want to receive. Thank you Elise as always! Not I have to get busy crocheting!
I love the turtle patter I have done over 12 all have amazing personalities. I used been at Blanket and they come out so adorable. It’s the best turtle pattern I have done. So easy to understand and comes out like the pattern.
Live for a quick work up because my time and often passion for a project is rather little. I have a blanket that should have taken me a couple weeks, 2/3 of the way done and it's been 2 months. I have to be honest... as a fan of yours for the past 2 years, I have never seen you so happy and elated to talk about patterns. It was so refreshing to see and I hope to see more of this side of you. It is like watching an old friend rekindle her passion and I am totally here for it! You go girl!!! Thank you very much for the Otter plush pattern... my daughter is loves Otters and she watches them in the Biodome here in Montreal. I will be making her a plushy very soon. Perhaps as a end of school year present for june. Please take care of yourself, your family and your wrists. BTW, it because of you that I ordered a wrist guard for my own wrists. I am in my late 30ès, but this advice has helped me. Thank you!!

The small animas and blankies will make excrement gifts for children at the children’s hospital or children in foster care and homeless or abused children. Thank you for the. Awesome information on yarns to use for best result, your information is wonderful. I don’t know about a project in a day, but I will try. I’m 81 years young and very excited to learn crochet and use larger hooks than 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 millimeter knitting needles. I subscribed to you channel now and I will search out your tutorial. I have not seen anything on crocheting those precious babies. I’m so glad I found you. A million thank yous.
Thank you so much for this vid, Elise! I've bookmarked several of the websites you mentioned, and I'm so grateful that many of the patterns are free. As someone living on a fixed income, yarn is expensive enough; so while I love to support pattern designers when I can, I very much appreciate free patterns when they're offered. Thanks as always for all you do, have a merry holiday season!
I'm so glad!! There are many quality patterns that are free online. And just know that you are supporting the designers by going to their websites because they earn ad revenue from your presence. So always know you are helping them just by being there! ❤️
Omg you are so fantastic. I love that you always try and find free stuff for us to make. Pickles is so adorable. Thanks for sharing hugs to you and pickles
Could I ask a huge favor? I ordered the book and it won’t be here until Friday, would you be able to tell me the yarn requirements for the dinosaur, please. I’d like to have everything on hand so I can get started on my grandbaby’s gift. (Type, size, quantity) Thank you.
@kjkernSerendipity it doesn't give specific amounts, just says #6 yarn in main and contrast color. It definitely used about half of a big skein of bernat blanket when I made the dino this last week.
@@kjkernSerendipity I ended up using 1 + 1/4 skeins of Premier Basic Chenille Brights of the main color safe and then 1/4 of a skein of the contrast color! 🦖
You inspire me! Thank you for you positivity! I'm a beginner crochet, but I watch videos to learn. Thank you for your time making videos. You help me. I appreciate your content. You've reached me. Thank you ❤
Good for you. I hear so many people say, "I wish I could crochet." It's not that hard, and there's so much information online. If one TH-cam doesn't explain something well, try another. I bought a lot of books when I started, and then the internet came along. Hooray!
I've been watching your videos non-stop, you have such a lovely and comforting energy. I've been watching you review yarn that they don't even sell in my country lol. Anyway, keep doing your thing! Love your channel!
Thank you so much! I have been working for Toys for Tots and have had NO time to work on last minute Christmas gifts. This is wonderful! Much Elise! Hope you and Pickle are having a wonderful day ❤❤❤
I LOVE your videos. So much information. Love your energy and clear way you talk and share. Excited for this video, it was wonderful. Kitty is gorgeous. And, oh yes, I AM inspired.. thank you so much. sending love, hugs, prayers.
Elise those patterns are so very cute.. wish i had the patterns for the blankets a while back...but have them now. Take care.. blessings to you and your family.❤
I am almost finished with holiday crafting and would love to try the blanket shrug. I'm currently working on finishing up my very first handmade Christmas village and it's been SO much fun. I bought a little kit that comes with all the supplies you need to create a church, 3 houses, and 6 trees. I've been a tad obsessed 😂. I think the blanket shrug will be the perfect after Christmas project.
@@EliseRoseCrochet it was really fun. I found the kit at Barnes and Noble last year on clearance. All the village pieces are made from card stock and they include all the templates so you can make as many houses and trees as you like 🙂It took me about two weeks to put the entire village together working mostly in the evening after work. Because it's paper I'm going to have to be really careful with storing it and it definitely can't go out in the garage with everything else, most likely in a closet to protect the paper and glue from our brutal Houston summers 🙂

Thanks for this fantastic list! I’ve only been crocheting since August & I wasn’t feeling brave enough to make gifts this year but as a beginner I love doing “quick” projects. It’s a great way to try new things & if I screw up I don’t feel like it’s a lot of time wasted. I’ve had my eye on these blankets for a while so I may attempt one of them after the holidays. 😁
First time here. I was looking for some quick stuffed animal projects to make for a mission trip in 3 months. I will say, my biggest shock is your kitty!!! I'm still a newbie at learning Hebrew. I'm using 50 Languages resources, TH-cam, fellow students, and the Tanakh Readalong, because I want to learn both Biblical and modern Hebrew. That conversation feature on Babel sounds very interesting. My mom had the CD-ROM French Rosetta Stone program, when I was younger. I preferred the game format of Jumpstart Spanish back then. There's always free, online options available, but I feel that if you choose the paid options, you'll probably get more advanced content out of them. But, you'll only get out of it, what you put into it, whatever you invest in, use it as recommended. You only get a result if you spend time doing it.
Thank you for sharing! You're so right, we only get out of it what we put into it. I'm really impressed with Babbel and how much I'm learning already! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise, what an awesome video!!! Love all the Crochet Projects! Have wonderful Holidays! Thank you for sharing your talent, passion, and love for crochet with all of us!
I love all these patterns and also appreciate the yarn info. My granddaughter is 11 and recently got into crochet. She will love this. I want to make a couple of those shrugs. They are amazing. Thank you.
Thank you for this video!! It’s very useful. Im a beginner and I currently only have the ability (in experience and patience) to do short projects. So a day project for this beginner will keep me going for longer, which is ideal. I agree and the granny square shrug is one to make!
How funny you showcased the dino lovey! I’m currently making him for my young nephew. I struggled with a few directions, but that may be because I bought the pattern from her Etsy shop, so I have now purchased the Kindle book. The half double crochet stitches com together very quickly! I used Hobby Lobby Cozy Occasion yarn.

Thank you for this video!! It’s very useful. Im a beginner and I currently only have the ability (in experience and patience) to do short projects. So a day project for this beginner will keep me going for longer, which is ideal. I agree and the granny square shrug is one to make!
Glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
That was a super fun video! Got my wheels turning…❤

Yes! It works up so quickly!! 🦖
