    There are three (3) steps of USMLE- USMLE Step1 (Basic pre-clinical sciences 8 hours), USMLE Step2 (Clinical Knowledge 8 hours and clinical Skills 10 hours), USMLE Step 3 (10 hours). Step 3 can be done in the residency years. And I don't know which hospitals will allow clerkships without step1 score. We in the USA take step 1 right after 2nd year and step 2 (CK) in the 3rd year during clerkship followed by step 2 (CS) and Step 3 in the first year of residency.

    • @nishthedr
      @nishthedr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shashanksri2189 well, rotations, probably not your case, if you don't study at an American University... But you can, go to American hospital, and work there...
      On-hand: you can make a contact with the patient.
      Off-hand (idk, how it's in English, my brain is trying to translate everything from Russian lol) : you just observe abd shadow the doctor (Observeship )
      You can check out AMO opportunities, official site... I think they got some programs for people who haven't passed the Steps yet, (I am still a High Schooler, so this is all I know)
