This is a great podcast! Congrats Dr. rashi on securing a great score. I could relate to some things and couldn't relate to other things because this journey is not the same for everyone. Some people can do it as planned but some people have to face other unexpected obstacles like finances, clg management, mental well being etc. and a lot other things. This is a very tough and unpredictable journey and not for the faint hearted at all.
@@Light_yagami777 what is wrong with u? Appreciating a hardworking girl who is successful in her career is really bothering u so u should not watch her videos, simple
She is extremely eloquent ,disciplined and a high achiever n excellent test taker. It does not seem as easy as she makes it sound. It's not as simple as applying for US electives. Would be interesting to know if she used agency. One elective was Illinois but where were other electives. She comes from good financial background as she mentions travelling to Scotland , Bali etc. Getting elective without step 1 is not so easy. Research experience, networking is not clearly mentioned. The path is very difficult for many despite the scores. So luck ,destiny n connections matter too. Congrats to her on this journey.
29:10 absolutely not.. getting a 260 plus having a stellar cv would still not get an international medical graduate into an ivy league.. for that matter it doesn’t even guarantee that you get into residency.. usmle is a very unpredictable journey

It's crucial for India to address concerns by creating an environment that fosters growth, innovation, and inclusivity, encouraging talented individuals to stay and contribute to the nation's progress.
People looking for the “How much it costs for entire USMLE journey ?” She said if you have done extensive research and tried to save some money then it’s around 20,000 USD and on average it costs around 30,000 USD or more.🙂
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the STEP 1 last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard
Anuj You could have asked specific (informed)questions about USMLE process. Better questions could have been asked. The questions you asked were very generalized. Informed questions bring more clarity. Generalized questions just give a broad picture.
Getting to know the process is what we do even at the beginning of NEET UG. Although the SSC results are not out yet, Allen(my classes) have started taking lectures. Yet, for the initial 1 month, I am focusing more on knowing what NEET, JIPMER, AIIMS etc are, how to plan and schedule my study to avoid backlogs, what question banks to buy and many other aspects of this journey. Sorry for the unprofessional tone, Anuj bhaiya's videos helped me a lot. Immense gratitude.
Hey Rashi, finally a comprehensive video resolving all the questions, I just needed clarification on your timeline, you gave your step-1 in the middle of internship and how did you manage to complete your internship despite doing 4 months USCE, did you delay your graduation? Dr anuj, im a big fan of ur videos but this one wasn't upto the level, in the sense it felt more like two friends catching up after a long time and the actual required content wasn't as much as expected, you could have asked more questions like which coaching did she learn from, how uncertain is the rate of selection and how to manage both college and usmle preparation, and what advice would she give to students who just started college, i hope u read this comment coz im sure u r next podcast will be better and congrats to her for achieving such a huge thing as an international Student
Hello Apologies if you felt like the video was not what you wanted it to be. Since this is a podcast style thing, we wanted it to be conversational.
