Glad we could help. Thanks for watching
Thanks!
I’m really impressed by the bZ4X’s interior. It’s spacious, comfortable, and packed with modern tech like the large touchscreen and wireless charging.
We agree
Thanks a lot for this; it is very helpful. I wished you'd also cover the central console. I still don't know exactly what all those buttons do, like the one with the foot-pedal icon, the "X-Mode", "Set + -", etc.
Thanks for the compliment! On the center console starting to the left of the shifter, you have your parking brake, next to that you have a button with a foot on it, that is to activate regenerative braking and allows for "one-pedal" driving, so when you lift your foot off the accelerator the vehicle begins to brake, basically when done right allows you to not have to use your brakes, thus saving wear and tear on the brakes. Below that button you have one that says "Hold". When pushed, and you come to a complete stop, you can let your foot off the brake yet the brakes will remain on, until you tap the accelerator-caution- you may need to press firmly on the brake once stopped to activate it so try it out some place where you have some room to roll. To the right of the shifter you have a ECO MODE button, when pressed, that will dampen your acceleration to help you save fuel. The X-Mode button w=can be pressed 3 times, and allows you to switch between light snow and dirt (regular dirt roads) and this mode will activate power to both front tires, instead of just one in Normal Mode, thus giving you al little better traction. a second press will switch vehicle to deep snow and Mud or deep dirt which activates the all wheel drive so all 4 tires are getting power, and then there's just normal mode in which only one front tire is receiving the power. Now the +/- button next to the X_Mode allows you to shift between 5 set speeds, if X-Mode is active, and controls the throttle and brake for you while you concentrate on steering, IF you are driving slowly (around 15 mph or slower). Basically it activates downhill control and grip control - now these are automatically turned on or off by the vehicle when X mode is active. So you will only see the speed choices on the dashboard, if you are driving 15 mph or slower, and then you can toggle to your desired set speed. Grip control keeps the vehicle at a constant speed whether going downhill or uphill. Just above the +/_ button you have a button that says view, when pressed that will turn on your front camera. The last button is for turning traction control on or off. Thanks for watching!

Turning off the beeping sound when going over the speed limit but keeping the sign recognition? is this a possibility?
Yes it should. In the drivers screen go under vehicle settings, then scroll over to the second to last icon and click ok, or press and hold ok, there you should see a way to remove the beeping sound. Thanks for watching!
I'm watching this in preps to my purchase of this vehicle thanks!
You’re welcome! We’re glad you found our video. Thanks for watching!
OMG, this was VERY helpful! Thank you for putting this video together.
You’re very welcome, and thanks for watching!
Why my toyota charging indicator charging intel light doesn't work ? It was working before that i can see green light on and off it means that charging start ?? Or how to fix it ??
Thanks for the question. I would recommend asking the Toyota dealership where you bought it from. In general it could be a number of things ranging from a faulty charging cable, a faulty charger, an update etc. Thanks for watching?
Great video! How do I turn on the seat warmers please?
Thanks! The seat heat button for the drivers seat is just under the infotainment screen. Look for the letters JBL on the left (below the screen). Directly under those letters is a picture of a seat, press it, in turns on your seats heat. Thanks for watching!
Well explained .Thank you so much.
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for watching!
Is there a way you can connect your Samsung like how u can connect your iPhone for Apple CarPlay?
Yes, just follow the same basic steps I used for Apple CarPlay. Before you start, go into your phone’s Bluetooth settings, so that you’ll see the vehicle appear once you start the pairing process. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. I’m picking up a new one tomorrow and this will be helpful! Cheers!
Glad it was helpful! Congratulations on your new ride!
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! We’re glad you found it helpful, and thanks for watching!
I really appreciate this video to help me learn how to drive bz4x. I just have one question. In old cars, we can get the distance of each trip through Trip A and Trip B function. But where can we get in the bz4x? I tried to figure it out, but was not lucky enough to find an answer. Seems nobody cares about it.
Your welcome! Just to the right of the steering wheel, before the infotainment system, there are 4 buttons, the one to the far right will switch between Trip A, Trip B, and odometer. Select the trip you want to reset, then press and hold that same button, and it will reset that Trip Meter to zero. Thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot. @@TwoGuysandaRide
Can you lock the car while its on park but on?
If your inside it, yes, if your outside it, with the keys on your person, it should lock, but if you leave the keys in it, I doubt it. You could however stop the engine, get out, and then remote start it, and then it would run and it would automatically lock the doors. Thanks for watching!
Love your video!
Thank you. Hope it helped!
What about the folding mirrors?
Yes it has heated foldable mirrors. Thanks for watching!
How to upgrade the software without going to the dealership? To get the percentage
Typically you can go to Toyota’s website and search for software upgrades by model or vin number, then download to usb, then plug usb into car and update the software that way. Thanks for watching!
How to know my Bz4x car is 4 wheels drive?
If it’s AWD, there should be an AWD badge in the back of the vehicle. Thanks for watching
10:41 what kind of oil change will this car need?
Thanks for the question. Toyota recommends Toyota Genuine SAE 0W-20 Full-Synthetic motor oil , however they do state that other 0W-20 synthetic oils can be used as long as they are ILSAC certified. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRide For an EV? Do the electrons need lubricating? Thank you for the video.
@@henrynoerdlinger120 my apologies, too many cars in my head… the BZ4x does not need oil changes. That I know of none of the electric components need lubrication, the transmission may require fluid. Thanks for watching!
The FWD Motion spec don’t have sound levelling.
Doesn’t have
Do you know how to get capital letters on the keyboard? 😇
Thanks for the question. At the bottom of your keyboard, on the left side, you will see three letters “abc” or “ABC”. Click on it to change between upper and lowercase letters. Thanks for watching!
May I know where is the engine no. located?
This is an electric car, so there is no engine. There are electric motors.
As much as I like the car, some of the instrument panel graphics look like something from the 90s. lol
You got a valid point
