100% yes. I work with seniors and have recommended this iPad to replace their desktop computers. They mainly check email, surf the web, play games, and bank. That’s about it. The value is insane

I’ve had this iPad for almost 7 months. I absolutely love it! For a little over $300 you really can’t go wrong and the fact that it supports the Apple Pencil is a bonus. I do like the Touch ID and often miss it on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I use my iPad for my blog, light gaming, web browsing, and social media. I use my iPad more than my MacBook at this point, but my MacBook is 5 years old and running quite slow. I don’t think this iPad can replace a laptop. I am doing distant learning with my daughter and she was unable to log into her math homework with my iPad. We needed to use my MacBook for that. I’m not sure if an iPad Pro would make a difference or not. However, I do think this iPad is great for college students who want to hand write notes, edit, and whatever else they can think of to use this iPad. Also, I’d have to agree that apple accessories are expensive. WHY? P.S. I have used this iPad to stream and I don’t notice the smaller size while engrossed into my TV shows and movies.

I have the 6th gen. iPad with Apple Pencil and I like it so much for digital art I fully recommended the iPad 7 to my Mom to buy for her digital art teaching. My favorite drawing app is Adobe Fresco. I also have Procreate, and Autodesk sketchbook for drawing. I have a few animation apps for the iPad also.

Coming from an iPad Air first gen, the iPad 7th gen is a HUGE upgrade. I was worried about the A10 processor being too dated but it’s extremely responsive. Granted, I use my iPad mostly to stream content end web browse but I’m definitely happy I got this on sale for $250. Great deal.
7:12 Don’t leave out that the A10 chip was also featured in the last gen IPad (6th generation). Apple kept the same chip from the last generation of the IPad so I would hardly call it an “upgrade”. It’s fine for the average user but don’t leave out important info that might be important to us.
Allen yes you should, if you like at the iPad mini 4 it has the same a8 processor from the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 didn’t receive IOS 13 but the iPad mini 4 did due to it having more ram so in theory the iPad 7th gen should be supported for a long time
Firepilot21 iPad 7 has 3GB RAM according to GSM Arena. Even the iPhone 7 Plus got 3GB RAM. Hell even the Xr got 3GB RAM so we just can’t say anything right now. It just wouldn’t make sense if Apple drop support for iPhone 7 (2GB RAM) but not for the Plus variant. This is gonna be interesting.

Bill Xi I have this 7th gen iPad and the Touch ID in it is pretty fast when it come to unlocking to the point where it’s the almost if not the same speed as unlocking on a 7 plus, but it appears that the guy in the video did not have the rest finger to open feature enabled which makes the Touch ID faster

I have this iPad the 128gb one with Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard and I love it. I’ve been using it at work actually more than my MacBook Pro and I haven’t ran into any issues where I’ve been needing to go back to my MacBook cause I couldn’t get something done on the iPad. And Compared to the original iPad Pro which the only difference it this has 3GB vs 4GB of ram this iPad is more powerful than the original iPad Pro.

Bought one back on January, the non laminated display not really an issue for me, the glaring problem i just put on a matte screen protector, problem solve. I used mine for student work, games and watching movies. It works great😁

I pray ZUGU makes a Muse keyboard case. It has to use the smart connector but keep the same amount of drop protection, and it doesn’t need the same amount of adjustment angles but at least 4 maybe. Ipad mini is far superior to the 7. It's a little dearer however and of course has the smaller screen but I prefer the smaller screen.

I’ve literally had my iPad 7 for over a month now and I NEVER even saw the smart connectors or knew the keyboard worked on my iPad! And I can also connect my Apple Pencil to the side! What!!!

In the USA it’s $329 for the 6th gen in aus it was $479 and the 7th gen in the USA is $329 while in Australia it’s $529 what a rip off

I pray ZUGU makes a Muse keyboard case. It has to use the smart connector but keep the same amount of drop protection, and it doesn’t need the same amount of adjustment angles but at least 4 maybe. Pretty much Apples’ Smart Keyboard but more angles, some better keys and better protection!!! That would be a good day, but a man can dream for now
