Just upgraded from the 2019 5th Gen to the new 7th Gen iPad Mini. It’s the size that works for me - anything bigger would spend its life in a drawer - and really complements my iPhone 13 Mini. Thanks for the content.
@@kevintamk This is my concern, that it's too small for taking notes. I got 11" iPad Air (on a lease) and taking notes with Pencil Pro is not that cool as I thought.
@@kevintamk I actually got lately iPad Mini 7th gen. It's ok for taking notes if you have "paper like" screen protector or glass. On a bare glass it was not the best experience. Haven't taken tons of notes yet, but taken few and it's quite ok experience.
Thank you for the concise but thorough overview. It confirms I made the right choice last month. I looked at every iPad option and decided to get iPad 10th generation. I love it (went with the beautiful pink rose color). I realized the best way to think about the more expensive iPads are not to compare them to luxury cars. The better analogy is with construction equipment. My iPad is like a solid Honda sedan for commuting. The next level up (Airs and Pros) aren’t just because they look good - it’s the specialization and capabilities that matter. …Also, I’m saving to replace my Mac sometime next year. Another consideration was the games I like playing. For the most part they aren’t super intense and not that fast. Puzzles/mystery, language learning, basic creating, some racing like Gibbon. The fastest games I play are Smash Hit and Sp!ng. Everything else like movies, music, cooking, reading, research, shopping, doesn’t need super fast processing and response. I’ve learned a lot over the past month, so I can definitely see how increasing knowledge & experience would pique an interest in more advanced use and equipment. Right now I’m greatly enjoying my iPad 10 💖 and plan to get a pencil.
So many mistakes. Low quality video again from this guy. Normally i just ignore the mistakes. But this one is a buyer's guide video and he casually says that ipad mini 7 has the A17pro which is also in Iphone 16 Pro and Pro Max. Well, they don't. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max has A18 pro processors. Do your research and proofread your script.
I'm still rocking an iPad Air 4th gen and its speed is still quite acceptable. Battery is declining though, so possibly looking at the Mini 7. The first iPad Mini was my first tablet and always loved the form factor. Been through all tiers of iPad over the years and accepted that I'm a very basic iPad user so Pro is not for me anymore.
My daughter works for a global construction company. She told me that none of her coworkers wear luxury goods. They seem to focus on the kislux high-quality small boutique companies that make goods cheaper than the iconic luxury brands. There are lots of options. If you don't want to pay those high prices, there are a lot of great bags for just a few hundred dollars, not thousands.
Was given an iPad Pro11 M4 cellular two weeks ago and I want to like it but im not impressed. I thought it would be more amazing than what it is. For everyday tasks it does the same as my iPad Pro 2016.
I've used standard size iPads and iPad Airs for several generations but recently switched to the iPad Mini. It's far more portable for my use case. Curiously, neither the base iPad or the iPad Air have a camera flash -- which the mini does have -- and I use the iPad camera all the time. My only gripe with the iPad mini A17 is why didn't they give us at least the M2? The iPad mini seems to be Apple's Frankenstein model, assembled from spare parts they didn't use for iPhones. Just because some of us want a small -- PORTABLE -- form factor doesn't mean we're looking for a cheap device. Others have pointed out the mini should have a 120Hz screen as every other manufacturer's small tablets now ship with those. I hope the next revision brings the mini into the currently shipping M-Chip family and Pro screen.
I went with the M4 ipad pros. 11" for media and reading and 13" for productivity. The OLED is so pleasant and easy on my eyes. I tried to go with the mini 7 but it hurt my eyes whenever I scrolled and didn't get bright enough for me.
@@georgeirvingnormaniii3291 Actually typing this from my new Mini7 :D. Got it yesterday and I’m really happy about it so far. Of course M4 Pro has much better display and option for nano-texture. I wouldn’t buy any pro apple device without nano texture.
Even though I could save up and get something else, I'm going with the iPad 10th generation. It will be able to do everything I want it to: research, notes, a second calculator, reading books, and video watching. I'm a writer so the iPad is a great tablet for me to use on the side.
If you decided to buy an iPad, I would suggest thinking over the followings: - What is the ideal display size for you? - What would be your use case? - Where do you intend to use it? - What's the budget for the device? - Do you need an Apple Pencil and which one? Once you have some ideas, the best is to visit an Apple Store, spend some time there and look through your options.
Sadly once you use the 120hz promotion display.. you can’t go back (or atleast I can’t) so unfortunately bc Apple refuses to make that the minimum on all of their devices these days , it made my decision crystal clear
currently dont own an ipad, looking at buying the ipad 6 pro 12.9inch, just for media consumption and web browsing and i need that 120hz display lol, i would get the air 5 but the 64gb base storage is to small and 256 is only €50 cheaper than i pad 6 pro
That shirt reminds of cases I used to buy. They had a proprietary process that magically separated the rubber on the case from the plastic exactly ONE DAY after Amazon’s return date. Probably a Good Will shirt. Surely that outfit is not. Still in business.
Double OLED Display is incredible good! I wish all IPads have this Display…you dont need Terabytes or superfast M4 Proc etc. for 99% of daily usage (ex. Gamers) but this Display is sadly only avaiable with the Pro. At the End of the Day i must say the OLED Display is the Mother of all Displays 😊
Finally a honest review between all the liars 😂😂😂 just buy what ever you can afford and like the most. It’s the nature of the humankind to want thinks we do not need as much as we think 😊 cheers 🎉
I think if you have not gotten an iPad or have a older iPad and want to upgrade. Just get the new iPad. If you have a iPad Pro from 2 years ago just stay with it. Same with the air if it’s been 2 years ago. But more than 5 years yeah might as well upgrade ( as needed )
🐬Pad for the win. Did you notice the Safari re-spring bug was fixed in 18.2 b4? Moving a Safari session from iPad to an external display with an existing Safari session was fixed.
Honestly, an Apple Certified Refurbished M2 iPad Pro is the best option, period. I’m a specialist at Apple and I recommend it to anyone considering an Air. Some go for it, some don’t, but I’m happy so long as customers understand the options we sell. I have an M4 Pro and it’s incredible. Bought my sister an M2 Pro two weeks ago and she loves it. the only two down sides are the portrait camera and Pencil 2nd Gen support instead of Pencil Pro. You get FaceID, four speakers, ProMotion, more camera options, LiDar, 600nits (Air is 500nits on 11”, 600 on 13”) and better mics.
I have an iPad Pro 11 inch (2018) and while I like using it, I feel there’s no place in my workflow for this device. I bought it, along with the Apple Pencil 2, originally as I thought this would be beneficial for photo editing but I just don’t like how iPad OS does files and I barely use it for editing. Now it’s nothing more than a limited storage TH-cam viewing device (64GB). I haven’t bothered to upgrade my iPad and even though I’m using it now to watch this video and write this comment, I feel I would rather sell my iPad and use the money towards the purchase of a new iPhone or Mac. If you have a use for an iPad, good for you but for the time being, I don’t have any use for an iPad and Apple Pencil. Maybe I’ll come back to iPad but for now, it’s just a viewing device for me and a money waster since I had to spend $$$ to fix the USB-C port🐬
IPad 10th gen quite adequate for me. I dont need Apple Intelligence, my Siri is disabled, i dont need an Apple Pencil, My only beef is there is no earphone socket. I really miss not having wired earplugs, I hate bluetooth airpods, that take me 10 mins to connect and then runs out of battery and has background hissing.

iPad Pro if you are using the tablet for business/revenue generating purposes. The rest of the iPads are more consumption oriented but can still be used for business/revenue generating purposes but the extent of that activity and the other devices in your arsenal will help narrow down your choices. If you are heavy consumption and the device is only used when not on the go then the base iPad will suffice. If you need portability and are constantly pulling the iPad out whether it be while commuting or for work then the Mini makes the most sense. The Air is kind of the in between and for those that need a balance of consumption and productivity.
I guess none of the iPads is family iPad, cause they do not allow multiple users on the device. Generally apple wants you to buy and iPad for every family member :(.
