We ran into one of our favorite diesels at Yello Belly race track in Texas! The man piloting Crazyhorse is Nathan Wheeler and he goes into detail about what makes this truck do what it does best! It's an absolute treat every time we get to see this flame spitting 2,000 horsepower cummins powered rig make some passes!

@@sman2000ifly Having grown up in the Dallas area, Yello Belly was always notorious for being kind of the "wild west" of drag tracks. Keep in mind that this was in the days before the proliferation of cell phones, the Internet, etc..., but we often heard about fights, shootings, stabbings, etc... at Yello Belly, and crazy stuff like cars making passes despite having a broken axle. No telling how much of all of that was true, but it was enough to keep us going to the street races in our neck of the woods rather than trekking over to YB.
@@jackcurrence263 I have been watching murda on twitch stream just about every weekend for a few years at yellow belly. Never seen or heard about anything to crazy. Just a few fights.

It’s one of the oldest drag strips in the country, that’s not even a crazy crowd. There’s usually more people on the starting line and past it. Fights and guns aren’t uncommon. The place is an institution lol. My buddy used to take his Top fuel car and funny car there in the 70s
They used it for a flea market also, that’s what’s with the big covered areas.
But each person in the staging area adds at least 10 hp

I use to work at Dana dry ridge that builds the axles for these trucks I remember being there around the time this truck was factory and I surprised the axles are holding up to that monster

This truck and this track are a sick combo
Every race Your Team covers is by farside the best racing channel worth watching. During race week I got to see some of the racers because My Wife and I were going to look at an RV pulling diesel truck for business so seeing racers with small trailers and big racing tires strapped on the trailers made going to Ohio last year a dream come true, Race Week Competitors on the road, it was like being on the road with 1320 Video, Thank-You so very much!
