    Nice tips. From my experience blue tape is a must, I had tryed printing PETG directly on surface and its almost unremovable. Only problem I have with blue tape is it expands when heated and shrink when not so it curls when print sheet is cooled down and its not much reusable because of that. I wish somebody figured out print surface PETG is easily removable from :)

      We mentioned a kind of textured PEI platform, exactly what you need!

      @@Snapmaker Is it realy that good? (different from your original sheet) I know about it but im a bit skeptical because all surfaces i tryed (some with previous printer) to this day were problematic one way or another - glass was usualy great but sometimes even PLA sticked too well, glass with PEI sticker made even PLA almost unremovable (maybe textured PEI and different brand will do better but after that experience im very careful about PEI), your PC default one is great for PLA (only sometimes some residues remains but nothing significant yet) but too sticky for PETG and it seems it has some texture too.

    What glue are you using to close the top ?

    If you right click on the whole collection you can save all bodies at once as separate files, if you name them beforehand it saves with the body name,no regrets, no time wasted lol

      @@Snapmaker Thats great news, i thought it would be nice for you to do some collab with them, if it is realy that good surface i will wait for you to sell them (this will ensure me i have got the right one) and buy one too. Nice to see your ecosystem still improving and expanding.

    Snapmaker, what is that print sheet shown at the "start printing" at 10:06 timestamp?

      It’s a pei printing sheet, it has a smooth side and a textured side, it prints really nice and reliable! You can find them on aliexpress, from energetic.

      @@JanHavel it’s like ziflex, they have buildplates in a range of sizes and do custom sizes to, a friend of me and me were actually the first to ask this supplier to make a custom size for snapmaker and posted it on the fb-page, then others started buying these and eventually even snapmaker got convinced 😃

    Boy that designing is soooo easy.. Why when I do it doesn't it work like that?

    • @Snapmaker
      @Snapmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It actually is! Maybe practice a little bit more🧐? You can do it!

    • @JanHavel
      @JanHavel 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It takes a lot of practice and from my experience every new model you make will bring another problems to figure out no matter how easy it looked at first :D but its worth it and you will get it eventually (if somethink does not work it usually helps to take few steps back and using completely different approach) ... i had similar software in school before and even after that i find fussion 360 sometimes just stuborn and unintuitive :)
      Whole another story is checking if what you designed is 3d printable ... if somebody has some tips how to do it automaticaly in cura or so (i would love to see some plugin for that) i would like to know them.

      @@JanHavel My problem with Luban is I'm making 55 gallon barrels in HO scale. 1/87 real size, so the software has no "reality size base" measurement, and I'm looking at a small dot on the base of the grid that I can't get big enough or near enough to do anything with. Ive tried making somethiing bigger and scaling down but again... what exactly is 54" tall in reality and 1/10th that or 1/87 that in the model? It seems dumb to make something then measure it then resize it them make it again...
