That is why I grow my own food. Grow it with the microbiom in mind no fertillizer no digging the soil. Have something growing all the time, to keep the microbiom alive. Feed the garden with compost preferably your own, so you know what is in it. Grow your own food year round with a cold greenhouse. I can do it here in New Brunswick Canada ( zone 5). Your health is the most important thing you have, to have a healthy long life that you can enjoy.

Dr. Mark, thank you so much for all you do . I learn so much about nutrition and healthy lifestyle from your videos and interviews with guests. My daily walks are incomplete without tuning in to your channel.♥️

Me too! I'm so thankful for technology. I remember having to flip through magazines just to find little tit bits of information - i felt so happy. haha, so easy to find information. But GOOD info too!

Thank you so much for everything that you contribute to the health community. Food 50 years ago is definitely not the same today. How can we build solutions?

Right around the 32:00 point there was a disagreement about whether 200 times more of something was 200,000% more. Mark said 200 times more wasn't 200,000% more. After the guest restated the claim Mark agreed that the numbers were correct. I don't know if he was unsure of himself in the moment or didn't want to dwell on that point. Either way he was correct the first time.
    The equation is x + 100% of x. 100% expressed as a decimal is 1.00 It is expressed as x + 1.00 * x = x + x = 2x.
    So, 200,000% more is x + 200,000% of x. Expressed as a decimal, it’s x + 2000.00 * x = x + 2000x = 2001x
So, to get a 200,000% increase there would have needed to be roughly 2000x the amount of the measured compound.
I still enjoyed the interview but getting this kind of thing wrong and then insisting you are right when called out does make me uneasy.

this device sounds like a such a game changer. i’m sure Apple would go with this extra sensor in their iphone considering how they are into health business recently. i think it’s worth a shot.
