Living with chronic illness can leave us feeling misunderstood and isolated, changing the dynamics of our friendships and relationships. Chronic illness and isolation often go hand in hand, causing emotional turmoil that can worsen our physical symptoms. This video sheds light on my personal journey, exploring the impact of chronic illness on relationships and friendships, and how to deal with the complex emotions that come with it.
In this journey of vulnerability and illness, it's common to feel resentment, especially towards those who seem to effortlessly enjoy their health. This resentment often stems from feeling misunderstood when others don't understand chronic illness or belittle our struggle, leading to chronic illness and loneliness.
Navigating the delicate dynamics of maintaining friends with chronic illness can be challenging. Sometimes, it's about knowing what to say to someone with chronic illness, at other times it's about learning how to respond. Using my own experiences and the experiences of my clients, this video offers insights into overcoming the emotional hurdles that living with chronic illness presents.
Toward the end, we'll engage in an EFT tapping session designed specifically for tackling resentment with someone who doesn't understand to help us regain our emotional balance and restore our relationships.
Whether you're someone living with chronic illness or a friend seeking to understand, this video provides a valuable perspective on chronic illness and friendships. Join us as we explore these complexities and learn how to turn our challenges into stepping stones for emotional healing and recovery.

Hey! I hope you enjoyed this livestream. Let me know what you think about this topic! Do you feel like it's hard to talk to people who aren't dealing with chronic illness?🌻 I have been uploading a lot more EFT videos recently - I created this playlist for you to tap along with - th-cam.com/play/PL0CozkNgcxUwKRbqV2LZX2J6mBaQTEnXs.html

This was so spot-on for me and I have a feeling I’m going to be using it a lot in the future! I live with a partner who consistently doesn’t understand the illness and it’s been very hard. Unfortunately we have two children and I’m not in the position to leave him, so I have had to really work hard on acceptance. I think this tapping will really help me. Many thanks 🙏🏼

I'm sorry to hear that Jo. It really is the hardest thing for us dealing with illness. We're social beings and it can feel like rejection. I am glad this tapping helps you. I run groups and the biggest relief people get is knowing they're not alone. Wishing you the best ❤️❤️❤️

I have this all the time. I love your videos. I have been following MM for 3 years and still not have recovered :( I have gone back like 10 steps this week. I twisted my ankle last week so I can not do my morning walks or rebound and this is weighing on me heavily.
    Any advice?

Hi Erin, It's pretty common unfortunately - family and friends don't really know what to do or say a lot of the time.
Thank you. I am sorry you've twisted your ankle and feel like you've gone backwards. I have quite a few videos on my channel which go into how to use EFT for things that are weighing on us emotionally. That's where I would start. ❤❤❤
