Do you have a link to the vfd that you are using? Is it a single phase 220v?

all the information you seek is in the other video. This video is the continuation which regards the programming of the unit found in the first video

I have like this vfd single phase to three phase 120 volt can I connect with motor single phase? Thanks

The answer is NO. You will need to select a different VFD model. I believe you will need a VFD model that specifies 3 phase input 120V to 3 phase output 120V. Remember we are not running a 3 phase motor, but we are connecting a single phase motor with 2 phases in a 3 phase connection. This is not fully balanced hence don't expect perfect operation.n

Hi there can you provide the link for the Manual you got H100-2.2C2-1B
    Thanks
    Input: 110V 50/60Hz
    Output: 0-110V 12.5A 0-1000Hz
Parameters what I am using, not validated as functionally correct.
    F003 main freq = 60hz
    F004 ref freq = 60hz
    F005 max freq = 100hz for 1750rpm unit 60 for 3600rpm unit
    F007 min freq = 10 hz
    F008 Max Voltage = 120V
    F026 stop mode = 0
    F028 stop freq = 0.5 hz
    F030 stop braking time = 0.0s
    F031 DC braking level = 2.0 (dont care as long as F30 = 0.0)
F039 start freq for braking = 4.0 (dont care as long as F30 = 0.0)
    F141 motor rated voltage = 120V
F142 motor rated current = 3.0 (use according to motor)
    F143 number of motor poles = 02
    F170 selection of display 1 = 2 (for RPM)
    F184 RPM display factor = 0.5 (for 1750, use 1.0 if motor is 3600)
    F193 output open phase = 0
    F194 0hz output enabled = 0

website for the VFD manufacture is www.zhonghuajiangspindle.com/VFD-2.2KW.html
      manual is available at community.carbide3d.com/uploads/short-url/sPh8tLgHr8zcgjSTjTfZp8PDyl.pdf
Lots of good information about unit installation from carbide3 site: community.carbide3d.com/t/how-to-h100-vfd-1-5kw-air-cooled-spindle-setup-zhong-hua-jiang/54310

While I appreciate your effort, pointing to a manual which is unreadable on my screen and blazing through an explanation of esoteric terms just isn't helpful. I will watch again with my miniscule manual in hand and try to correlate the two. Having absolutely no electronics background is not optimal, but all I want to do is run my 220v planer off of 120 volt source voltage. It shouldn't be this hard. Thanks.

@@Janet-vx9qn Simply don't go down a path if you can not comprehend the content or if you take the content out of context. Your situation is not the same as the project documented by this video. You are trying to run a 220V planer from 120V source. This is not within the context of this project. Don't blame me or anyone's comments on this thread for your project becuse it doesn't apply. Since you have no background in electronics or electrical motor operation, your comment that it shouldn't be this hard has no merit.
