Another important issue in the Philippines is this question that Filipinas need to ask Filipino men is (or maybe it should be an order) - why don't you use a condom especially if you are planning on ditching me if I get pregnant? There's such a huge problem with single mothers getting no support from their former boyfriends or former spouses there. It affects the entire economy. I'm liking this channel more and more because Calvin speaks directly and brings up poignant topics.
Strong Catholicism. No idea the details, but I met a Vietnamese guy in Grad School (health field) that was 100% against condom use. His GF (our classmate) loved him to death, but did NOT want kids yet and was begging us guys to talk sense into him. Said he was a 'Good Catholic Boy'. Never happened, she got pregnant 2nd year, had to leave school and never got her degree. Very Sad. They're married and all but lost out on a 2nd income (she's a stay at home mom), and she lost out on achieving her dream.

You have to pay attention to the answers. People who lie have a hard time getting their actions to match their answers. The first few answers may be easy for them but the deeper you dive into understanding who they are by asking relevant questions the harder is to be deceitful and have it all make sense. If he/she says something that signals a warning to you dont just let it go. Ask for clarification and question them from another angle the next time you see them.

Good evening Calvin, that's very funny you bring this up. Those questions are not asked in the states, so I know they are not asked abroad. Hunger removes a lot of preliminary questioning on both sides, everyone is on their best behavior until their objective changes. I agree it is best to ask these questions, but most of us don't. The real reason is because with all the things going on around us we are just happy to be alive. EVERYONE HAS A VERY GOOD QUESTION UNTIL THEY GET HIT WITH THAT LUST BUG. The question is: "ARE YOU SMARTER THAN AN STD?"
Haha!! Good video bro. When I get over there I’ll definitely have a couple boxes of condoms. And I won’t be getting into any relationships over there. Too late for that in my opinion I’m in my early 50s, I won’t be saving some poor single mother of 2-3 kids. I just can’t afford it. I’m fine with dying alone.
You nailed it again bro! Social media and Dating apps have made casual sex easy in the USA and possibly in the Philippines all contributing to the high risks
My Pinay married very young. Her husband was unfaithful for her through their entire marriage, and he left shortly after she was pregnant with her second child. I insisted on getting tested both her and I got tested at the same time not because of anything she did but I was afraid of what her husband might’ve contracted and passed on to her. It wasn’t a pleasant conversation, but it was a necessary one. Total cost of the testing was under $50 for both of us well worth it for peace of mind.

Thank you Coach!
You are spot on with this. the ladies here will jump in bed with you in a hart beat but they don't want to tell you about their personal life.
Absolutely. It's a dangerous game we play Lavon.
Sometimes you learn the hard way to slow it down.
Problem is, even if you do ask, what makes you think they will be forward with you. I’d say no better than 50/50.
But ask anyway and protect yourself.

Asking is just stage one of the question. You must then wait to see how many times you catch them lying.
