Hey man, sometimes it's really hard to record gameplay, cyberbully people, and spaz into a microphone.
His wit, personability, and editing is pretty nice. Most people that make roast videos suck at all three and since he does it well it generates those millions of views. I don't like his content either though.
Leafy really only just makes fun of people who are already making fun of themselves
He's talented at being unfunny.
Leafy awakens the cancer in people, especially in younger ones, his whole channel has a significant negative effect on society. He knows this well, but the money is more important than morals. Just because he claims he's just joking, and puts out a disclaimer that he's not responsible, it doesn't mean anything. He's still responsible, just not legally. His new content is focused on prolonging the video to get more revenue. About 40% of his video is unnecessary material, ranging from cringy unfunny skits and just repeating himself multiple times to the long ass intros and inbetween titles. He overuses 'fucking' and 'literally' to the point where I hate those 2 words, and all-around he just swears way too much.

iDubbbz did it for a joke as with most Content Cops but the thing is, iDubbbz is actually funny. People watch Leafy to laugh at the people he makes fun of, there is nothing funny about Leafy. iDubbbz has humour in his brand and himself.

So, first off.. just because you don't find someone funny doesn't mean everyone else doesn't find that person funny. Opinion not a fact. Leafy has over double the subscribers of Idubbbz.. that's a fact. (2 million Idubbbz, 4.8 million Leafy.)
Next... did it for a joke? .. he told Keemstar to kill himself, HowToPrankItUp to shut down his channel, Jinx to fight him in real life for charity (Jinx ended up leaving youtube) and you think it's a joke? He spent time to research, formulate a plan and execute his thoughts in such a manner to create damaging statements against the person he's talking about. Edited the video and released it to the public. That takes hours, if not days to prepare.
That is no joke. It really hurts the youtube channel of the person he targets. That is a fact.
It's satire dude, idubbbz is funny and he went after people who make awful content who do need to shut down their channels.
Some of the people Leafy tries to make "fun" of have more sense than he does.That's the sad truth of it.

I feel like these videos are just middle schoolers having an argument and a lot of points that could've been touched on weren't, and the fact that people think their opinions are valid points on why someone's channel is bad is total bullshit.

I'll say it again... just because you don't find something funny doesn't mean it's not funny for everyone. Just because you don't find roasting humorous doesn't mean it's not humor. That is totally an opinion. 5 million people disagree. Facts don't care about your feelings. People don't subscribe to someone they hate. They don't subscribe to someone who they don't care to watch. That being said.. to subscribe to a channel, one is personally interested in the youtuber's content. Even if he grew because of drama, why stay subscribed if you hate him? The fact that practically every single one of his videos gets well over one million views each and every single time also supports that. You really can't say he's not funny, and at the same time he gets millions of views consistently on a "shit tier" video. It just doesn't make sense.. if everyone actually despised his content so much, there's no way he would be this consistent.

Slick Noviko you do realise that the reason videos with this stuff is getting demonotised is because adverts don't want their advertisements on videos like that because it gives them a bad name TH-cam can't stop that it is not their fault to be honest it sounds very reasonable the advertisers aren't obliged to give money to TH-camrs I like boogie and think there should be some way of still getting him money as these videos are positive but the advertisers don't need to put adverts on videos about rape suicide depression and others

Hi boggie2988, I just read an article about the medical applications for Virtual Reality and discovered that, besides helping those who suffer from PTSD and anxiety, the sense that your controlling the environment around you can also help with chronic pain. If you haven't also checked out his channel, go check out ObesetoBeast . The dude lost over 150 lbs, and has a channel dedicated to his transformation and inspiring others.

That's true. PTSD triggers visual memories in the brain. Research has found that by playing video games or stimulating your brain visually you can cope better with PTSD maybe because you create new visual memory, new memory cells. Also there is a supplement, curcumin (sold with bioperine for better absorption), that goes directly to the hippocampus (the center of making long-term memories) and stimulates the creation of new neural cells. It can help with PTSD by increasing the rate in which "new memories" will be able to replace the old bad ones (researchers have found promising results in mice). He doesn't need any prescription to try out curcumin, it's not a synthetic chemical and it's not patented by any pharmaceutical company. Of course supplements of curcumin are sold with with bioperine (=pepper) for better absorption. Hope boogie will take a look on this info!
I'll have to look into that myself as I have, PTSD, ADD, medication induced ADD, and the side effects of a skull defect.
I would suggest at least 2g (2000 mg) Curcumin (with bioperine) per day for at least one month to start seeing results. It may also help with ADD. It's cheap, safe (since it's an anti-oxidant) and clinically tested for many diseases. You can buy it without prescription from Amazon. For this kind of information you shouldn't use Google, search directly the official website of Pubmed NCBI that lists all the medical publications. Search for "curcumin depression" or "curcumin PTSD" to see all the real medical research results and their summaries. For every result you can see the title of the medical journal, the date, the names of the researchers etc. You can read an example of a search result here www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22118895
Thanks for the info, and I know what you mean by not doing a Google search directly, as that is a good way to not only find supplements with who knows what mixed in; but also getting your identity stolen. You have to search through the real medical sights on the supplements and see who they recommend purchasing them from. My next neurology appointment is Dec 5th and, I hope to see if there are any meds besides the ones I'm on to further help with the symptoms of my skull defect.

Boogie is real, but maybe when he's on camera he's showing the best part of himself, the part of himself he wants us all to see and enjoy. I wouldn't say what he is online is "fake" but when you have a camera in front of you, you KNOW thee will be people on the other end watching and examining, so you want to display the best part of yourself that you can. And sometimes you don't have that same energy, which is when you may sometimes get a "Watered down" "less entertaining" "real" version.

Congrats Boogie. I went from 340 to 230 over the past 2 years.
Boogie, I don't know if you'll see this, but I had baryatric surgery and while I was apprehensive leading up I can safely say it was the single best decision I've made in my life. My situation does not nearly parallel yours, as I had "only" reached 350 lb (~160 kg), but I'm down to 190 (~86 kg) lb now and I have never felt healthier, or better about myself.

Hey boogie, the thing i do to stay motivated it to work out is to turn on a podcast or watch a cool video while doing so. The working out releases dopamine and helps a lot

I've gone from 290lbs to 245lb in the past three months, still another 50-55lbs to go before i start a bulk but all is good. You can do anything you set your mind to.

I may not be in the same situation as you Francis but I feel what you have felt. I'm 16 and I'm 6'3", I only weighed 130 pounds in June, it's now September, and I'm at 145. I've been eating more and healthier, and I go to the gym everyday. I trying my hardest to build my body to the best it can be. I believe in you and I know you can accomplish anything. A wise man once said "if you say you can't do something, you're right. But if you say you can do that same thing, you are correct."
