My favorite is the super acro-focused Mr. Steele style flying. In my opinion it's the most fun to fly in my opinion. I call my style of freestyle "race-freestyle." Mr. Steele is the one who inspired me to get into this hobby and get me to spend ridicules amounts of money. It's the most risky style after long-range and your likely to lose your investment which has been hard as a 15 year old boy but *dang* is it fun.
That was awesome... And Drew's drone reenactments were oddly very helpful in understanding the different styles. Hahaha! I can now articulate that my favorite style is Cinematic Freestyle, followed by Flow, and Juicy. Seeing Bubby's name in that line up of crazy talent was a proud FPV Mama moment. HiFlite I'd say he is the best he was definitely doing this juicy stuff a long long time ago. Definitely a favorite to watch even though he doesn't have any current videos
My favorite style is 3D flying, with a close second being the extended backwards flying . So pilots like Zoe and Cricket. I understamd why there is less mass appeal to 3D, it has a higher barrier for entry, and is the most likely to cause vertigo in the viewer. Though the trippy high uptilt stunts and the blind backwards dives can have a similar effect, just less extreme. Also as with any hobby the popularity of a style becomes self fulfilling. When more people see something more people want to do it, and so the less popular things become expontially less so. But all that being said, I know inwas not really interested in freestyle at all over traditional Mavic cinematic shots until I discovered 3D and ever since then I have been hooked and have expanded my interests to other styles as well.
I'm new to fpv. I've only used the sim so far. My build is almost complete kwaq wise, but I need the camera system and googles and an elrs reciever, and I'll be there. I'll get there
