  • PART 2 - • DJI FPV Manual Mode | ...
"essentially" a "quick" video so you can learn to fly DJI FPV Manual Mode "quickly"... In all seriousness; flying FPV drones is a sport and deserves to be practiced as such; so in this video I present my Top 9 daily drills to warm up fundamental flight control skills. When you begin to practice them like you would your golf swing, or slap shot in hockey, you will begin to see an accelerated improvement in your drone control as compared to going out; flying aimlessly; and learning from your mistakes and crashes. If you train hard, aim to fly smooth, when it comes to capturing cinematic footage you'll be a master in no time!

The internet is just an amazing tool for learning. A lot of good effort being put in by people to help others but not everyone has got the right balance. After looking through dozens of tutorials finding this one was like finding the mother lode. Excellent presentation and very well balanced between concise verbal descriptions and video examples. Very well done and thank you Tomjon.

This has to be the most flattering comment I've received. I was nervous making a video so dense since the common trend on youtube would be make a 10 min video for each of these with lotsa flashy funny moments of "look at me." Wanted this to be about the knowledge for the viewer as quickly and concisely as possible; hearing feedback like this that the style is landing well makes it all worth it! Thank you!

Hi, just want to say that I really love the way you explained everything in detail and you showed the remote on the screen and how you’re moving the controllers. This has been the best explained video I’ve seen. My first day with a DJI fpv and I’m trying to switch over from regular mode into manual but just scares me to switch. Now that I’ve seen this video I’m definitely going to give it a try. The DJI virtual flight doesn’t do Justice for me. So, thank you so much for your very detailed video and for helping other to get into fpv. Im subscribing so I can keep watching any video you put out.✌️👏🏼👏🏼

This is a really top notch bit of youtube content. I've flown acro enough to be able to not crash but have no real skill or coordination. The hardest thing ive found, going from LOS heli flying, to FPV is the mess you get in your controls due to the camera tilting up a lot. These drills have really tidied that up a lot. These videos are going to really help me avoid crashing my DJIDPV. Thanks for the effort

I’m sure glad I found you doing this! I’ve been flying GPS drones for film productions and surveys for 10 years now. I have never flown FPV, or even tried to fly FPV. Although, I’ve been to FPV Races in breweries around here in Minneapolis. I’ve seen our local guy J. C. fly through the Bryant Lake Bowl in Uptown nearby and realized this is what the film guys what to see now. So, I bought the DJI FPV to step into FPV, (with prop guards and arm braces). You’re the first I’ve seen training FPV that I can understand and actually “feel” while in your training flight videos. I think I’ll practice on the sim for a week first. I liked and subscribed to see more of what you do. Thanx TomJon!

Thanks a lot for very good descriptions on the moves! I'm a beginner in FPV and just switched my DJI FPV drone into manual and doing your moves. The drifting turns are awesome and it just gets more fun for every time I fly :-)

Thanks a lot. Good tips, how to learn this stuff. When you come from DJI controls, you have no idea what is really going on. Now i can fly my DJI FPV without crashing it in Manual Mode and with staying in control and understanding what is going on. The Simulator LiftOff also helped me a lot.

Damn good video! Manual mode has me so overwhelmed and scared to even try. This video is very informative. Hopefully I’ll move to manual mode soon on my DJI FPV.

Quality information mate this is going to help me a lot throughout my time flying fpv, I have the DJI fpv and nearly crashed it into the sea on like my 3rd flight and haven’t touched it for like 6 month lol but took it out this evening for the first time but I am not confident with manual mode, will keep up the practice and am sure I will get there, thankyou for your help and inspiration pal 👍👏

Thank you truly thank you. I'm very new to FPV only been a few months you have by far the best explanations and new flyer tips on you tube. And I can't wait to practice your amazing tips. One thing that seems to be missing from TH-cam that would really help those like me. would be a video call about micro tiny whoops, as many people start with them, but have tons of trouble learning to fly indoor. If you want that would be a video topic I'd love to see and eagerly await to watch and learn from. These two training videos are now my favorite videos and I'm flying analog mobula 7. You made my day hopefully my comment can make yours and possibly inspire you, as you have done to me.
