For anybody learning how to fly an FPV this is a great video! I am currently trying to learn how to fly the DJI FPV in the simulator, after 5mins in I felt I absolutely needed some basic understanding of the controls, you nailed the tutorials, thanks for all the tips!

I just got an older dji fpv drone. I’ve flown other dji drones mini2 all the way up to M350. I’ve built a quad and hexa Pixhawk drones. FPV manual/acro mode messes with my head; been flying fpv visual sim to learn. This video helps. Thanks

This is a really top notch bit of youtube content. I've flown acro enough to be able to not crash but have no real skill or coordination. The hardest thing ive found, going from LOS heli flying, to FPV is the mess you get in your controls due to the camera tilting up a lot. These drills have really tidied that up a lot. These videos are going to really help me avoid crashing my DJIDPV. Thanks for the effort

I’m sure glad I found you doing this! I’ve been flying GPS drones for film productions and surveys for 10 years now. I have never flown FPV, or even tried to fly FPV. Although, I’ve been to FPV Races in breweries around here in Minneapolis. I’ve seen our local guy J. C. fly through the Bryant Lake Bowl in Uptown nearby and realized this is what the film guys what to see now. So, I bought the DJI FPV to step into FPV, (with prop guards and arm braces). You’re the first I’ve seen training FPV that I can understand and actually “feel” while in your training flight videos. I think I’ll practice on the sim for a week first. I liked and subscribed to see more of what you do. Thanx TomJon!

I can’t tell you how much, not only the drills, but the detailed explanations of what we are seeing you do, has accelerated my progress in just two sessions in the sim. Naturally still frustrated but also feeling encouraged by the much faster progress that comes to everything, by practicing the exercises.

When I first tried the DJI FPV on simulator, my mind was blown! Totally different than I thought. It finally started to make sense, but I was floundering around a bit when flying in manual! Absolutely perfect video for me trying to figure out the mysteries of FPV flight. I have a background as a commercial helicopter pilot and private fixed wing pilot which you would think would help me, but I am having difficulties adjusting to what I would call "uncoordinated flight" in acro mode on the quad. Your explanations are perfect and I will be using your training suggestions in the sim to work towards becoming a better and more competent fpv pilot. You obviously have incredible skills in flying drones, and I really hope you continue with instructional videos. Liked and sub'd and looking forward to watching more. Hey buddy. You did a kick ass job on this tutorial. And kinda just saved me some work as I was putting another one together, and was fumbling over explaining theory. You have a good pace at which you talk. It should be noted that anyone trying these drills with a DJI FPV drone, will inevitably crash and break it the moment it hits anything, and perhaps they should be practised on a more robust drone if at all possible.

Thanks a lot. Good tips, how to learn this stuff. When you come from DJI controls, you have no idea what is really going on. Now i can fly my DJI FPV without crashing it in Manual Mode and with staying in control and understanding what is going on. The Simulator LiftOff also helped me a lot.

Incredible video.. Explanations clear and concise. One thing that helped me immensely was pinching the sticks I never thought I would pinch the stakes boat when I did it was instant Improvement and I was actually really surprised by that considering I'm a gamer.

Dude, keep at it. This video is great. Well laid out, no commercial bs nor filler. Just right to the point. I’m using it as a guide to learn to fly the dji fpv drone on acro mode and so far it’s great. Been doing like 7 packs a day on it.

Just bought the DJI FPV a few days ago and bought Liftoff. This video helped a lot more than the Liftoff tutorial, I found I didn't learn a lot from it.

When I first tried the DJI FPV on simulator, my mind was blown! Totally different than I thought. It finally started to make sense, but I was floundering around a bit when flying in manual! It's great to have some exercises to work on! Looking forward to practicing and getting better at true FPV flying! Thanks!

One thing that seems to be missing from TH-cam that would really help those like me. would be a video call about micro tiny whoops, as many people start with them, but have tons of trouble learning to fly indoor. If you want that would be a video topic I'd love to see and eagerly await to watch and learn from. These two training videos are now my favorite videos and I'm flying analog mobula 7. Something I've noticed: Everything you've shown in this video is in direct corrlation with flying an actual airplane; just plain "aerodynamics". Quality information mate this is going to help me a lot throughout my time flying fpv, I have the DJI fpv and nearly crashed it into the sea on like my 3rd flight and haven’t touched it for like 6 month lol but took it out this evening for the first time but I am not confident with manual mode, will keep up the practice and am sure I will get there, thankyou for your help and inspiration pal 👍👏

I have always been interested in FPV but never made the jump until the DJI fpv came along. I feel like it is a great starter since I have owned a Phantom 4 Pro and mini for years.

Absolutely perfect video for me trying to figure out the mysteries of FPV flight. I have a background as a commercial helicopter pilot and private fixed wing pilot which you would think would help me, but I am having difficulties adjusting to what I would call "uncoordinated flight" in acro mode on the quad. Your explanations are perfect and I will be using your training suggestions in the sim to work towards becoming a better and more competent fpv pilot.
You obviously have incredible skills in flying drones, and I really hope you continue with instructional videos. Liked and sub'd and looking forward to watching more. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!😊

Hey buddy. You did a kick ass job on this tutorial. And kinda just saved me some work as I was putting another one together, and was fumbling over explaining theory. You have a good pace at which you talk. It should be noted that anyone trying these drills with a DJI FPV drone, will inevitably crash and break it the moment it hits anything, and perhaps they should be practised on a more robust drone if at all possible.

Thanks a lot. Good tips, how to learn this stuff. When you come from DJI controls, you have no idea what is really going on. Now i can fly my DJI FPV without crashing it in Manual Mode and with staying in control and understanding what is going on. The Simulator LiftOff also helped me a lot.

Incredible video.. Explanations clear and concise. One thing that helped me immensely was pinching the sticks I never thought I would pinch the stakes boat when I did it was instant Improvement and I was actually really surprised by that considering I'm a gamer.
