Is it true that this asus rog flow x13 doesn't have a Lan card so regardless you use ethernet adapters to the x13, ethernet connections is not possible?
The battery life in the video is misleading. It used silent mode (fan profile for minimal noise) but they did not test the Optimized or Eco modes for GPU. The laptop has in integrated GPU alongside the Nvidia GPU. Running the iGPU on battery gives you 8h+ depending on your other settings (brightness etc).
It is soo confusing. In many videos I'm hearing between 9 to 10 hours on battery while doing normal tasks like video playback and web browsing while here as you mentioned you could get less than 4 hours. Do you have any idea about this? I'm kinda getting this feeling that those videos are being payed or something to lie .
The g14 will have a more powerful GPU, but the Flow X13 should be lighter and easier to carry around with slightly more powerful CPU. So if your work involves less with the GPU, i'd so go for the X13 :)
it'll really depend on if you need the graphical power from the 4080! as a more powerful card usually mean shorter battery life (can't confirm as we haven't tried it before) and it'll weight slightly more than the flow X13 (still light though!)
@Tech5Productions thanks for the quick reply, since this release there has been a price drop in the 2022 version, I could buy the 2022 version along with the xg 3080 egpu for almost the same price as this one... So which one will be better I'm a student who wants to note take and also do some 2d and 3d art and also game from time to time
@@neolightdraco6815 I would say it's definitely the xg mobile 3080 would be more worth it as you already have a flow, so the upgrade from 3050ti to 4050 won't be as big as to a 3080 from the xg mobile. :)

The laptop would die so quickly running benchmarks on battery power, it doesn't really matter all that much. I'd like to see benchmarks of RTX 4050 vs 4060 vs 4070, or vs 3050 Ti from last year

Literally in the exact same situation but the x13 is a 4060 and the g14 is a 6900hs

no it would be not :)
the 3080 from the XG mobile will still outperform the 4050 by quite a margin
