THANK YOU ALL so much for the insane support on this video! We had some back-end concerns with copyright stuff and metadata so we decided to reupload the video fresh to see if that changes anything. Welcome to the Thieves Guild!
I wondered why I saw it uploaded again but hey I'm gonna give it a rewatch for shor
Could you use a dwemer lexicon and tonal arhcitecture to make a mixtape in the elder scrolls?
Love your videos fudgemuppet keep up with the amazing content
I'd like see more of these Skyrim movies I think they are awesome 🔥👏🙌
Welcome to the Darkbrotherhood, College of Winterhold, Bards College, or Companions when? 😁
This is the backstory of Vasha before he's kidnapped by Astrid and assassinated in the abandoned shack
If he is assessinated
Please can we get more of these for an archmage, harbinger, listener etc. this was SO good!!
Agreed!
I know you guys said this video didn't do so well, but I absolutely love it.
Michael, you’re such a hard-working guy. I’m really sorry this video isn’t getting the praise it deserves. It’s really high quality. You might consider marketing it as a “Story-based character build” or something. Idk. Just my two cents. I’m loving the thumbnails btw!
Idk why people didn't like this, I absolutely loved it.
Probably because its something they're not really known for. Most of the time their vids are lore related, or gameplay/speculative related. In short, its like trying to crack a new niche in the market, when you have an established audience.
I personally liked it, and if they were to apply this style to some of the lore vids, or even an ideal Elder Scrolls or Fallout vid, I think it could do fairly well.
Though those type of vids would take forever to put out.
@@lazilycatharticone4191 well its pretty hard for them to make content if they dont try something new since they dont really get new content from skyrim to make vids about
@@heromobslp1096 where did I say it wasn't hard, or that they shouldn't try new things?
Maybe because It's a really badly executed, voice over narration...I could have made this in 3 hours,so I'm not sure what the fuck he did with his other 297 hours, but it definitely wasn't spent actually doing video editing,or dialogue writing. The real question,is what did YOU enjoy about this?
Really loved this video guys, the Goodfellas and Scarface ending references are perfect. The whole thing is cinematic and has so much effort and style put into it. The vibe is very fitting for Skyrim and this video. Sorry to hear it wasn't received well
Love the Goodfellas reference at the start lol
RIP Ray Liotta
Now The next Skyrim build has to be a Crip-walking Khajiit that does “drive-bys” on horseback.
Tu'pac sha'kur
This is without a doubt one of the best videos you’ve done!!
This is brilliant! Probably the best video you guys have ever made.
Love it ! the narration is fun and dynamic, it's a great way to introduce new character builds :D
Should totally do one for each guild / faction. Feels like a mini trailer!
This is one of your coolest videos yet, I'm a sucker for lore but sometimes some good old-fashioned fan service is where it's at
New idea for an elder scrolls video, instead of how everyone has their version of the strongest guild, army, ect, it’d be interesting to see a video like “who’s the most secretive society in the elder scrolls?” So it’s not necessarily based on how strong or big they are, but more how hard it is to get in and how little people know of them.
Can't wait for Guy Ritchie's adaptation. Jason Statham as 'the Khajiit'
I'm gonna be honest, I think the reason this isn't getting a lot of views and praise is the whole gangsta thing. The production and writing is, as always, great quality
Loving the Goodfellas reference 😂
Saw this on my feed, decided against, watched the whole podcast series, but that last episode piqued my curiousity, I was not disappointed.
This video was sweeter than a handful of moon sugar! Pretty please with a juniper berry on top can you guys make more short movies like this.
this is GREAT! id love to see more of these, done with different factions of skyrim
This video changed how i see the Thieves Guild. Last time i did a guild playthrough i viewed myself as an errand boy, but i guess you really are making a giant criminal enterprise
13 days and 15 levels into my new thief character and loving it. I try to make it into a game to sneak past enemies and steal all of their things without being spotted, I'm making friends in high places and rolling in coin. I'm living in the Shadowfoot Sanctum and filling up my trophy vault more and more every day. I downloaded a couple mods and took out the local Riften skooma dealers and am planning on cooking and selling my own brand, Black-Paw Skooma. I love money
"...and you'll be plucking them like a six fingered bard" LOL great writing!
Dude, I just wanted to rewatch this for some nostalgia and now I’m itching to make this a build 😂
Top notch storytelling, Michael!
Man the music just fits perfectly, and the animations are crisp. I really do wonder what your guys' modlist is, it looks so clean and overhauled
One of the best skyrim videos ever
This was awesome Michael. So entertaining!!
I really don't get why some people didn't vibe with this video.. I absolutely loved it! It may not be a lore or build video, but I thought it was executed quite well. It's different than what the boys usually do yeah, but different doesn't have to mean bad. I can tell lots of love went into this video and that's ultimately what keeps me coming back to this channel. The love and passion they have for the Elder Scrolls. Fantastic video in my opinion❤
Thanks for the awesome content and great video!
Thank you!
Badass video Michael, love it!
I really enjoyed this style of video!! Dynamic and entertaining, I'd love to see a movie-style build for other factions in future too!
Yo this was sick bro, good job
This was amazing bro keep it up I love to see this content
I thought the vid was over an hour long and didn't realize it had voice over so I didn't watch that first one, but I love this! Great job, sorry I missed it the first time around.
This has a lot of potential and it’s already great!
Brooo I loved this and the twist in the end this whole story got me hyped up I'ma play Skyrim now lol

Love the reference to goodfellas at the beginning!
Great video, lads
Everyone gangsta till karliah walks away breaking the thieves guild quest " trinity restored"
You guys are amazing..thanks 👌
I think an animated series for elder scrolls (similar to star wars legends) would help the lul we are all experiencing either stand alone episodes or actual season long stories
I love how my game almost looks this good now
I watched this again because it was great!
Shame this didn't do well the first time it was uploaded. Hoping it doesn't better this time.
IDK if this is an upload, I'll watch it again and I'll like it.
Awesome video, I love the way your game looks. Have you guys got a video on what visual mods you use ?
High quality content as always! If I could've found the original post I would've watched the ever loving SHIT out of it! To make up for this misdeed, I shall be reposting this everywhere I can to make sure it'll get even more appeal. I can't help it, I want this to succeed!
Damn it feels good to be a gangster...
THIS IS AMAZING
Absolutely stuffed with nothing but Elder Scrolls love!
A vid so nice, I’m more than happy to watch it twice. 🤙
Glad you enjoyed it! I've probably watched it 1000 times while making it 😂
This was amazing!!!!!
Yes yes gangsta is cool and all, but do you get to the Cloud District very often?
Going to the cloud district is da Bomb but have you helped this settlement? I will mark it on your map
This is well done!! I love it
The Best Guild
This video made me went to play skyrim again, I love the way you narrate and put all together Michael. Always a pleasure to watch a fudgemuppet video.
Same here
Fantastic, this gave me trainspotting intro vibes
I don’t usually use this word to describe things but this video was awesome!
Ok this makes for a sick skyrim build
I’ll gladly watch this twice 🤙
Goodfellas is my favourite movie. Great video.
this was incredible
Please make more of these. XD
This is amazing.
I love ripping off Maven. You can rob the barrels of the hunningbrew (blackbriar west) meadery over and over for a steady profit. The only thing feels better is farming and selling Redwater skooma and Sleeping Tree Sap
A college of winterhold one would be cool
This video used to be called “how to be a gangster”
I thought i was trippin for a second lol, time loop scenario deja vu type shit . Love this video though
This is a great video! It’s like a movie! I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t do as well as you like. It definitely needs more love!
This was cool
Here's a question for you guys, is it possible for a dragon to become a vampire?
The editing in this video is amazing!
Brooo Those little story telling videos of your could make a great series, the build up and the ending is just genius. I’m happy to see this channel develop forward all the time, All love !❤️
Giving me game trailer vibes
lol at "the wealthy elite families of skyrim aren't criminals"
That was so badass! Looove the ending XD
I didn't watch this until after the last podcast episode and...you guys were right. This video is pretty awesome.
This is cool
Commenting for that M’Algo Rithm
You should have ended it like in the Sopranos ;) Great video, very entertaining.
very nice
just watched good fellas last night too
"I used to be a gangsta like you, and then i took an arrow to the head. Shady business have been rough since then. Those days are over"
Lorkan is Anuic at his heart.
I need community help to flesh out this idea. I just thought of it while listening to the Altmer Gods video and it struck me (apologies for spelling mistakes)
So Anu made Anuiel to better understand itself through self reflection. And in order to eventually understand itself more Anuiel made Auriel and Trinamac and all the other 'original spirits' or whatever the Altmer want to refer to them as. At the same time they want to dissociate from Lorkhan, claiming he was a 'limitation'. But do we, as thinking beings, not learn More about ourselves through limitation?
How many of us have done game playthroughs Limiting ourselves to a specific weapon type or magic or armor type, etc. And from that limit we push ourselves to learn new combat styles and Think in new ways to get past the trouble that limitation puts on us?
What if Lorkhan was purposefully made with limitation as a new way for Anu to learn about itself. At the end of the day, that has been the ultimate point of every iteration of one being creating the next. Anu>Anuiel>Auriel, etc etc. It all stems back to Anu wanting to self reflect and needing more outside forces to do so. Even if it creates the outside forces itself.
So, if Lorkhan was made so Anu could learn via limitation, maybe he saw that the others could only learn so much from the state they were created in. After all the Gods are all stuck in their 'spheres of influence' and even the Daedra are, to a degree, stagnant. Being that they are stuck in the aspects they are connected to. Which.l, theoretically, are just separate aspects of Anu reflecting on themselves, so that Anu can learn of itself. Maybe Lorkhan saw through his own creation that greater knowledge and learning could come to Anu through further Limitation. Maybe, ultimately, the desire of his heart was for Anu to learn all it could of itself.
Afterall, if Anu comprises Everything, that would arguably include Mundus and all Mortals. Elf, human, argonian, khajit, etc. How much would be unknown to the gods, to Anu, if the limitations of mortality had not been inflicted on them.
They might have never learned of self preservation and selfishness that could have been seen from Magnus and the Magnagi's fleeing from mundus.
Betrayal from the Daedra and all that has ever been discovered from their meddling with Mundus would be unknown to Anu. The lengths weaker beings can push themselves to, in war and magic and diplomacy, etc etc etc, would all possibly be unknown.
This has largely been rambling but that is my thought. I would love community input to either debunk it or give other ideas for why it could be true. Would be awesome if fudgemuppet team noticed but I won't hold my breath, lol
Philosophy Theology Oh My!
...Interesting thoughts!
Hey I watched this video on the previous kalpa.
