When you join the Dark Brotherhood for the first time, there's a group of them having a conversation about the Werewolf Member killing a Khajit Monk and master of the Whispering Fang. I like to have this Character coming over the border into Skyrim with the "You killed my Master!" Trope from the old Kung Fu films. The idea being he knows his Master was in Skyrim and knows he was murdered by the Dark Brotherhood, but little else. And upon crossing into the country, is taken by an Imperial Patrol and carted off to Helgen for execution...
I love the outfit, and the theme of this build. The special move with the disarm and telekinesis to emulate wind powers is genius. I'd love to see some kind of ninja build, as cirngy as that sounds

I love that you all diversify your build portfolio more than other creators. It’s nice not seeing four or five nord builds through the six episodes- as a fan of the vastly underloved Breton myself, it gives me hope to the future of your channel!

Bretons are severely overused when it comes to builds honestly. Because of their 25% Magic Resistance, almost a quarter of the builds I see are Bretons. This is online though, and not on TH-cam. On TH-cam I find them to be a bit more varied, but with the majority being Nords. Which makes sense and all, since Skyrim is the home of the Nords.
Been nearly a year now wow. These builds will be timeless fellas, there will be a time that skyrim is a good 30, 40 years old and all us with a love for roleplaying, now in very different stages of life compared to when we first watched and played these, will remember these builds fondly and think of all the good times we had with them. By far my all time favorite build channel fellas, I forgot you guys had a discord I'd best join haha

The aesthetics, creativity, and roleplaying are top notch and the inclusion of specific special moves is definitely not something I often see in build videos. I don't know how you managed to make an unarmed khajiit build so unique but you really pulled it off. Always love what you guys come up with. Watching this made me want to pick up skyrim and play again.
I just wish i was looking for a build when you created your channel. There’s so much to choose from and all of the builds are so cool. When I’m done playing through the assassins creed games I’m coming right back to this channel. And I’m watching every upload.
My favorite of your builds ! I love unarmed characters. In Skyrim Vanilla, who is not make for unarmed you are, in general, limited. But you, you can exploit all the chooses of the game and made an amazing build ! Sincerely congratulations ! I hope see soon another unarmed builds like a Argorian who use Namira Ring or a mercenary who use the ebony shield bug for block, bash, disarm in unarmed ! Ps : sorry for my poor English.

I was hoping for an unarmed build at one point, and you guys didn't disappoint. Amazing work! I hope to see a Penitus Oculatus and a Blades Build eventually from you guys. Normally I would go further in depth about how to create one, and what exactly I was thinking, but you guys are so creative with your builds that I would rather see what you come up with on your own with only a general idea for a build.
Although I do have a good idea for a Penitus Oculatus Build that I want to share even if you're not gonna use it. Penitus Oculatus Armour, Bracers & Boots, along with an Apprentice Hood and the Shield of Solitude is a really nice aesethic. I'm not sure about weapon, but a sword would be nice. Race could be anything, but Imperial is fitting. The build uses One-Handed, Light Armour, Illusion, and possibly Enchanting. Illusion is for all of the mind bending spells since the build is an agent of sorts. I think it fits pretty well. That's my take on a Penitus Oculatus Build, so I can't wait to see if you guys try and create one.
We have another unarmed planned for Season 3 with a pretty unique twist, so we’re excited to see what you think!! I love the approach of using what enemies have against them (if only you could deflect spells back at them) and focusing on very precise moves in combat. The special moves got me thinking of another one based on the mods I use. Going off the Paralyzing Palm idea: Cast a Fear spell as a way to disarm an enemy (Vokrii), grab their weapon with Telekinesis, then instantly catch up and hit them as they're running away (Triumvirate).
Great stuff, I love the creativity you're showing in each build. Each one has a new take on concepts I've seen variants of before, but all are done in such an inventive (and beautifully presented) way. Congrats on a great season one, it's been an absolute pleasure to watch them, and am looking forward to season two. Happy New Year, and may all your roads lead to warm sands.

The Shinagami Race Orc Clothes Miraks robes Moth priest sandals Dark brotherhood gloves ( The fingerless gloves ) Weapons blades sword ( chaos ) Larkins sword Bloodscale blade Magic: Bound bow Ebony flesh Muffle Invisibility Soul trap Shouts Become ethereal Whirlwind sprint Marked for death Transformation: vampire lord alternate between your blades sword and bloodscale blade as needed using your orc racial ability once a day when needed pairing your katanas together Use your spells and shouts to supplement your ability to be unseen like the god of death you are and ebony flesh So when it's time to fight head on you can absolutely mow down any Target Quest Dark brotherhood dawnguard Black book quests main quest Civil war quests College of winter hold All dadra quest become Thane of all holds
Welp...just finished the skill grinding now gotta start thieves guild. This is my first ever unarmed build..never wanted to try it until seeing this and will probably follow up with a playthrough of the Saxlheel Vagabond. So far, it's been fun. Looking forward to getting the spells and shouts to really try this out. I'm so addicted to this channel I think I've watched every build 50+ times 😂 I hope you guys keep making builds for a very long time. Fudgemuppet and other channels have good builds but all involve enchanting, smithing and other things to be really strong. I've never played builds without enchantments or just in game unique items. You guys have changed Skyrim for me and opened my eyes to making characters and not just a beast flying through the game and I can't thank you guys enough. Every build is A+ Edit: have everything except starting the main quest so now shouts and this is way stronger than I thought it would be. Having a blast.😍

God, all your builds give me so much nostalgia to back when I was posting mine with the best of ‘em like Mason and Henson on Tamriel Vault. This one reminds me my Master Monk (only with a way better aesthetic, no reliance on a game-breaking glitch, vastly superior gameplay/special moves, etc. lol). I hope you two end up with millions of followers because everyone who still plays this game truly needs to see all of these.
I knew Khajiit excelled at unarmed fighting but didn’t know anything about the Desert Wind or Claw-Dances so looked up the lore regarding that. It’s fascinating and I love how you based this character build on that portion of lore. I like your usage and combination of spells and shouts to represent the Claw-Dance fighting styles. Very unique and creative! While I generally prefer not to use glitches, your use of Klimmek’s Supplies suits this character’s style as it makes sense for him to be able to scale walls. As always, I love your attention to detail when putting together the aesthetic of for this character, especially the combination of armor pieces from various sets rather than simply a complete set.

Dude I love these especially this one I've never done an unmodded unarmed build I'm a buddhist so seeing a cool wide d&d monk being realized in vanilla is awesome! The aesthetic is perfect, thank you for making a good looking character you'd be surprised how hard that is to come by. Also his whole not being pious thing really opens up especially being true neutral
@@Skypothesis ive been playing skyrim on and off since launch in 2011, I've done so many vanilla and nodded playthroughs I never thought I'd play vanilla skyrim again, but this level of creativity and roleplaying is too hard to pass up, not only do I love skyrim again but I love vanilla skyrim again
Very similar to a Redguard build I made I called the desert storm. Just basic hammerfell garb and hood, and dual wielded scimitars. Used whirlwind cloak, ash shell, ebony flesh, and ash guardian spells. Shouts were cyclone or elemental fury. If using elemental fury then I went with unenchanted scimitars, if I used cyclone then I used scimitars enchanted with fire and absorb stamina. It was fun but you definitely had to stay on top of your flesh spells being a no armor melee build. I would imagine the flesh spells acted like a coating of sand armor and could manipulate "sand" to fight with him through the ash guardians. Sometimes I'd throw some fire magic in there too but usually just the all maker stone power.
I have a build in mind, but it somewhat depends on how you look at Creation Club. If not then this build will simply be straight forward. Simply put; The Umbra Build. All this build requires are just one if not two CC content to make it all work in both roleplay and looks which is Umbra and the Alternate Ebony Armor Set. The overall style of this build is a 2H Greatsword using Heavy Armor Spellsword. Using Conjuration for Soul Trapping and either reanimating/conjuring the undead thanks to the Soul Cairn, Enchanting to get more out of your soul gems and gain powerful enchantments for your armor, Heavy Armor for your Umbral outfit of course, Two-Handed for the use of greatswords, Block to cover all of your bases when it comes to defense(Of which weapon blocking can benefit from all perks except for "Deflect Arrows", "Elemental Protection", and "Shield Charge"), and Smithing for upgrading and enhancing your gear. Going for more power, add in Restoration and Alteration for more magic regen and become a Vampire, even better when you're also a Dark Elf since you'll have 50% Fire resistance and when full vampire you'll have no Fire resistance but about 50% Frost resistance instead. If you are uncomfortable in using Creation Club, then just get yourself a full set of Ebony Armor and an Ebony Greatsword and enchant the weapon with either Absorb Health or Absorb Stamina and add Soul Trap to it. The idea of this character is that for you, the lives of others means nothing to you but a means of an end. Followers are resources, allies are just components for your gain in power and the souls of many are needed in your conquest for obtaining it. If there is power to gain from doing a quest, whether it be a high fortune of gold or a powerful artifact, do what whatever it means to get it. Basically, do evil things. Do daedric quests that involves you killing someone, betrayal, become a member of the Volkihar Clan, be an assassin of the Dark Brotherhood and be like that one Orc in Oblivion, or just straight up kill everything that moves. In the end, you will become an icon of death, a true reaper of souls, the harvester of the innocent, a true vessel worthy to possess both the weapon and title of Umbra.
@@Skypothesis Thank you, I do have other builds in mind but they mostly revolve around mods here and there. One build I have being called "The Bard" who doesn't fight what so ever but in fact is a complete pacifist. However he doesn't mind supporting his companions and friends in combat by means of cheering them on and providing additional support through Illusion Courage spells, Restoration Healing spells, and other things thanks to the use of "Ordinator" but I'm sure a Vanilla build can be possible. For this build in particular, you'll be playing as an Imperial named Marquise Mantudilius. A bard by trade who often boasts his heroic adventures and outrageous exploits throughout the land, and although his stories are farfetched the way he tells them gives the crowd some good entertainment and a laugh or two. In truth, he's quite the coward but he always seeks out a new honest to good quest to better inspire him and earn some friends along the way. He just have that kind of charm to make people like him. His skills would be that of Illusion for Courage spells and better buff your companions, Restoration to heal their wounds, Smithing and Enchanting to better their gear, Speech for that great personal charm, and Light Armor and Block to keep yourself on your feet and protect yourself should push come to shove. And that's just a summery of the whole build

Honestly you could also go the vampire lord route and use the blood magic ring to replace the ring slot if you’re me and will always look for ways to use vampirism in my builds lol
Gonna build a ttrpg party (specifically either Shadow of the Demon Lord or D&D 5th Ed.) made out of Skypothesis archetypes: catman monk, rebel werewolf veteran, imperial vampire agent (these two constantly clash), high elf support necromancer, and primative yet tactical rugged archer. Well rounded party: stealth from the Ghost, Spectre, and Exile, range from the Ghost, melee from the Rebel, Exile and Spectre; buffs and party support by the Auramancer...the only major lacking areas are Social Face and Magic Damage which could probably be filled by one additional character. Soulgems & Elderscrolls: a group adventure within the world of Nirn
Something I did in my roleplaying of a similar wind based build was jump onto different things in combat, it would confuse the ai and I imagined in like my character doing wire-fu style leaps and things
Thank you for helping me create a very similar build to yours basicly instead of wind i went with fire. Its in its beginning stages rn but i got the armor and helm as well as klimmiks supplies. Pretty much all same type of abilities you will use but i will get fire breath fire runes firebolt and the same telekenesis ideas. Might use resist fire potions and damage health poisons on ememies weapons. i call him the Desert Sunburn. Hes still in super early stages. So i gotta grind the mage skills a bit.
Will you guys be remaking any of your previous builds with anniversary content? I think this one in particular could really benefit from the new “Fearsome Fists” creation.
Got a build called the antagonist. Stealth build wood elf proficient in light armour and ranged. Uses bow, daggers, vampire dust and werewolf form. Mass necromancy summons on emergency. Why have companions when you have an undead army to block your retreat.
I only have PS3 version and lost all the dlc content so i can't play the game with any of the good content :( I'm guessing the telekinesis is mainly for roleplay purposes?
Thanks for watching! Having played extensively with mods like ordinator and the base vanilla game, we have found that ordinator disrupts the balance of the game, so we aren't the biggest fan of it! We will stick to vanilla for builds - but stay tuned for content about mods such as Beyond Skyrim and Skyrim Together! :)
At 7:30 when you say “At least up until you reach sky haven temple” did you have any other specific quests in mind that would fit this character to do after that point?
Good question! We actually booked it to Sky Haven just so we could get the gauntlets, but I think it all depends on how you personally want to play him!
Unarmed build are extremely powerful in the early game with damage as high as 50 or more is achievable by only level 3 if you play your cards right. If your wondering that is 22 damage from khajiit claws, 12 or more damage from heavy armor gauntlets, and 16 from the fortify unarmed enchantment which can be enchanted on two pieces with a value of 8 using a grand soul gem with zero perk investment. All that together should bring you damage up to at least 50, but it is possible to gain more damage if you find a better set of gauntlets such as the dwarven gauntlets with 16 armor bringing your damage up to 54.
@@Skypothesis The problem is that damage starts tapering off in the late game becoming far less viable. Assuming you have maxed out enchanting and are wearing daedric gauntlets you damage might reach as high as 70 to 100, but that is in extraordinary circumstances using absolutely everything at your disposal. With the same set up you could make a sword that does 200 plus damage with zero perk investment into onehanded.
@@Skypothesis This is why I tend to use mods, and a great mod for unarmed characters is ordinator perk overhaul as it gives you a lot of the things you'd want in an unarmed build.

I love the approach of using what enemies have against them (if only you could deflect spells back at them) and focusing on very precise moves in combat.
The special moves got me thinking of another one based on the mods I use. Going off the Paralyzing Palm idea: Cast a Fear spell as a way to disarm an enemy (Vokrii), grab their weapon with Telekinesis, then instantly catch up and hit them as they're running away (Triumvirate).
I’ve been playing as this build for more than a year now, and MAN, THIS IS THE MOST FUN I’VE EVER HAD ON SKYRIM BEFORE!

Welp...just finished the skill grinding now gotta start thieves guild. This is my first ever unarmed build..never wanted to try it until seeing this and will probably follow up with a playthrough of the Saxlheel Vagabond. So far, it's been fun. Looking forward to getting the spells and shouts to really try this out. I'm so addicted to this channel I think I've watched every build 50+ times 😂 I hope you guys keep making builds for a very long time. Fudgemuppet and other channels have good builds but all involve enchanting, smithing and other things to be really strong. I've never played builds without enchantments or just in game unique items. You guys have changed Skyrim for me and opened my eyes to making characters and not just a beast flying through the game and I can't thank you guys enough. Every build is A+
Edit: have everything except starting the main quest so now shouts and this is way stronger than I thought it would be. Having a blast.😍

God, all your builds give me so much nostalgia to back when I was posting mine with the best of ‘em like Mason and Henson on Tamriel Vault. This one reminds me my Master Monk (only with a way better aesthetic, no reliance on a game-breaking glitch, vastly superior gameplay/special moves, etc. lol). I hope you two end up with millions of followers because everyone who still plays this game truly needs to see all of these.

New unarmed build for anniversary content?
I like how you brought up Tai Lung.
I knew Khajiit excelled at unarmed fighting but didn’t know anything about the Desert Wind or Claw-Dances so looked up the lore regarding that. It’s fascinating and I love how you based this character build on that portion of lore. I like your usage and combination of spells and shouts to represent the Claw-Dance fighting styles. Very unique and creative! While I generally prefer not to use glitches, your use of Klimmek’s Supplies suits this character’s style as it makes sense for him to be able to scale walls. As always, I love your attention to detail when putting together the aesthetic of for this character, especially the combination of armor pieces from various sets rather than simply a complete set.
We are also wary of glitches, but the Klimmek's Supplies glitch was just too perfect not to include haha. Thanks so much!!

@@Skypothesis ive been playing skyrim on and off since launch in 2011, I've done so many vanilla and nodded playthroughs I never thought I'd play vanilla skyrim again, but this level of creativity and roleplaying is too hard to pass up, not only do I love skyrim again but I love vanilla skyrim again
Very similar to a Redguard build I made I called the desert storm. Just basic hammerfell garb and hood, and dual wielded scimitars. Used whirlwind cloak, ash shell, ebony flesh, and ash guardian spells. Shouts were cyclone or elemental fury. If using elemental fury then I went with unenchanted scimitars, if I used cyclone then I used scimitars enchanted with fire and absorb stamina. It was fun but you definitely had to stay on top of your flesh spells being a no armor melee build. I would imagine the flesh spells acted like a coating of sand armor and could manipulate "sand" to fight with him through the ash guardians. Sometimes I'd throw some fire magic in there too but usually just the all maker stone power.

I have a build in mind, but it somewhat depends on how you look at Creation Club. If not then this build will simply be straight forward. Simply put; The Umbra Build. All this build requires are just one if not two CC content to make it all work in both roleplay and looks which is Umbra and the Alternate Ebony Armor Set.
The overall style of this build is a 2H Greatsword using Heavy Armor Spellsword. Using Conjuration for Soul Trapping and either reanimating/conjuring the undead thanks to the Soul Cairn, Enchanting to get more out of your soul gems and gain powerful enchantments for your armor, Heavy Armor for your Umbral outfit of course, Two-Handed for the use of greatswords, Block to cover all of your bases when it comes to defense(Of which weapon blocking can benefit from all perks except for "Deflect Arrows", "Elemental Protection", and "Shield Charge"), and Smithing for upgrading and enhancing your gear.
Going for more power, add in Restoration and Alteration for more magic regen and become a Vampire, even better when you're also a Dark Elf since you'll have 50% Fire resistance and when full vampire you'll have no Fire resistance but about 50% Frost resistance instead. If you are uncomfortable in using Creation Club, then just get yourself a full set of Ebony Armor and an Ebony Greatsword and enchant the weapon with either Absorb Health or Absorb Stamina and add Soul Trap to it.
The idea of this character is that for you, the lives of others means nothing to you but a means of an end. Followers are resources, allies are just components for your gain in power and the souls of many are needed in your conquest for obtaining it. If there is power to gain from doing a quest, whether it be a high fortune of gold or a powerful artifact, do what whatever it means to get it. Basically, do evil things. Do daedric quests that involves you killing someone, betrayal, become a member of the Volkihar Clan, be an assassin of the Dark Brotherhood and be like that one Orc in Oblivion, or just straight up kill everything that moves.
In the end, you will become an icon of death, a true reaper of souls, the harvester of the innocent, a true vessel worthy to possess both the weapon and title of Umbra.

@@Skypothesis Thank you, I do have other builds in mind but they mostly revolve around mods here and there. One build I have being called "The Bard" who doesn't fight what so ever but in fact is a complete pacifist. However he doesn't mind supporting his companions and friends in combat by means of cheering them on and providing additional support through Illusion Courage spells, Restoration Healing spells, and other things thanks to the use of "Ordinator" but I'm sure a Vanilla build can be possible.
For this build in particular, you'll be playing as an Imperial named Marquise Mantudilius. A bard by trade who often boasts his heroic adventures and outrageous exploits throughout the land, and although his stories are farfetched the way he tells them gives the crowd some good entertainment and a laugh or two. In truth, he's quite the coward but he always seeks out a new honest to good quest to better inspire him and earn some friends along the way. He just have that kind of charm to make people like him.
His skills would be that of Illusion for Courage spells and better buff your companions, Restoration to heal their wounds, Smithing and Enchanting to better their gear, Speech for that great personal charm, and Light Armor and Block to keep yourself on your feet and protect yourself should push come to shove.
And that's just a summery of the whole build

Gonna build a ttrpg party (specifically either Shadow of the Demon Lord or D&D 5th Ed.) made out of Skypothesis archetypes: catman monk, rebel werewolf veteran, imperial vampire agent (these two constantly clash), high elf support necromancer, and primative yet tactical rugged archer.
Well rounded party: stealth from the Ghost, Spectre, and Exile, range from the Ghost, melee from the Rebel, Exile and Spectre; buffs and party support by the Auramancer...the only major lacking areas are Social Face and Magic Damage which could probably be filled by one additional character.

Something I did in my roleplaying of a similar wind based build was jump onto different things in combat, it would confuse the ai and I imagined in like my character doing wire-fu style leaps and things

Thank you for helping me create a very similar build to yours basicly instead of wind i went with fire. Its in its beginning stages rn but i got the armor and helm as well as klimmiks supplies. Pretty much all same type of abilities you will use but i will get fire breath fire runes firebolt and the same telekenesis ideas. Might use resist fire potions and damage health poisons on ememies weapons. i call him the Desert Sunburn. Hes still in super early stages. So i gotta grind the mage skills a bit.

Got a build called the antagonist.
Stealth build wood elf proficient in light armour and ranged. Uses bow, daggers, vampire dust and werewolf form. Mass necromancy summons on emergency. Why have companions when you have an undead army to block your retreat.
One blade steals health. The other paralysis. The bow soul trapping because why not. Not a close quarters fighter unless in werewolf form.
Also just wondering, what difficulty do you guys recommend playing these builds on?
They're all balanced for Adept, as it is the base setting for Vanilla. Every one we have tried works pretty well on the higher difficulties as well :)

Thanks for watching! Having played extensively with mods like ordinator and the base vanilla game, we have found that ordinator disrupts the balance of the game, so we aren't the biggest fan of it! We will stick to vanilla for builds - but stay tuned for content about mods such as Beyond Skyrim and Skyrim Together! :)
At 7:30 when you say “At least up until you reach sky haven temple” did you have any other specific quests in mind that would fit this character to do after that point?
Good question! We actually booked it to Sky Haven just so we could get the gauntlets, but I think it all depends on how you personally want to play him!

Unarmed build are extremely powerful in the early game with damage as high as 50 or more is achievable by only level 3 if you play your cards right. If your wondering that is 22 damage from khajiit claws, 12 or more damage from heavy armor gauntlets, and 16 from the fortify unarmed enchantment which can be enchanted on two pieces with a value of 8 using a grand soul gem with zero perk investment. All that together should bring you damage up to at least 50, but it is possible to gain more damage if you find a better set of gauntlets such as the dwarven gauntlets with 16 armor bringing your damage up to 54.
They are indeed! We have another unarmed build coming in season 4, which won’t be for a while, but we’re super excited for it!
@@Skypothesis The problem is that damage starts tapering off in the late game becoming far less viable. Assuming you have maxed out enchanting and are wearing daedric gauntlets you damage might reach as high as 70 to 100, but that is in extraordinary circumstances using absolutely everything at your disposal. With the same set up you could make a sword that does 200 plus damage with zero perk investment into onehanded.
@@Skypothesis This is why I tend to use mods, and a great mod for unarmed characters is ordinator perk overhaul as it gives you a lot of the things you'd want in an unarmed build.
