After Tav recruits Halsin and asks him what about the Grove after the party, normally Halsin will say he's going to summon Francesca from High Forest to look after it. However, if all the other druids were dead, there'd be some extra lines in this conversation. Tav would say sadly Francesca'll be the first and only druid. Halsin would respond that she can still tend to the grove at least and hopefully new druids will join. This game really amazes me. I've played for so many hours and still find something never seen in the next run. :>

I thought I killed all the druids in my last playthrough and I did not get that special dialogue. Maybe I missed a couple.
Wait how can you have a party with Halsin if all the Druids are dead? I thought if you kill them all then he is mad? Or is that only if you side with Minthara?
@@elenalizabeth there are two different dialogue options when you face Halsin after you killed all the druids at the grove, one will make he mad and attack you and the other one won't. And of course, don't side with Minthara and don't lead her to slaughter all the refugees. That will definitely make him mad.
Apparently you can bring Arabella's corpse to Sovereign Glut and raise her as a spore servant who can attack anyone without entering turn based combat, allowing an unlimited number of attacks before anyone can fight back. She is also light enough to pick her up as an improvised weapon and carry with you as you fast travel out of the Underdark to let her fight all your battles for you without entering combat. I hear she can use elixirs of hill/cloud giant strength too.

@@erininsoup I haven't tried it myself, but I saw it in another video a couple days ago. The video claimed though that the game will not allow any children to enter turn based combat, and that this allowed spore servant Arabella to make attacks out of turn based mode even when your party and enemies are already in turn based combat. It might work with Doni, Mol, Mattis, Mirkon, or Silfy too. It wouldn't surprise me if that turns out to be a bug that has already been patched through.
@@magister343 I don't think it works with most of the other tiefling children because they can't be killed in a way that leaves corpses (i.e. they die offscreen). Although I bet Mirkon's corpse can be collected from the harpy fight.
@@magister343you definitely can’t do it with the other kids, and the video is using ridiculous strategies in Bg3 by proximity chat technician I think
The glitch works and if you haven’t got the dream visitor cut scene yet you can even get her to act 2. She is even immune to the shadow curse so you can just make her drink a hill giant strength potion, (which last even through a long rest because spore servants can’t actually rest) make her pick up the everburn blade from the ground and literally beat every fight from act 1 and 2… I think you call that revenge
4:18 This is how Grove is coded: I had everyone attack me for throwing dead Priestess Gut in front of them, literally in front of the cage of that goblin they captured (Sazza), to mock her... they just see you messing with any body or character as hostile... yes, even those they want to kill themselves... Weird.
Weird indeed. Reminds me of when my Paladin Wyll broke his oath by accidentally touching the door to Sazza's cage, long after the goblin had been killed and Astarion had unlocked it to see if there was anything on her corpse worth looting.
I also had guards in the Grove attack me for the crime of killing others guards in the goblin camp.
@@magister343 I had to reload Oathbreaking for luring Minthara to attack the Grove, as the morality check is in Shattered Rectum not when you actually decided to help her or side with defenders (TBH destroying goblin army from the walls is MUCH easier, just put more barrels).
Fixed it by standing in the next room, pressing G, and having Shadowruns disguised as drow do talk to Minthy instead.
As great warriors of truthiness, benevolence and justice, we knocked her out and stole her clothes - only to get duplicate later.
Oh that's so interesting and makes sense why that happened now - I think it's hilarious that you decided to bring back Gut's body lol.
You have to be insanely careful inside the Grove. I've had to live with consequences of my actions multiple times in this place.... because I'd forget to save for like 4 hours and invariably that's when my actions would cause the druids to aggro. This makes Karlach non-recruitable...

Halsin has nothing to say about coming back and finding the Grove sealed and the tieflings dead? Ok, damn. He's cold.
He is a classic DnD True Neutral druid; you'll find he often overlooks stuff like this abs shrugs it off as "the natural order."
Which is why my preference for druids in this game is Jaheira who dances on the line between true neutral and chaotic neutral.
10:30 Wow, Halsin going full DEUS VULT on her, shows that you CAN write religious zealots without making them bigots (all druids are priests, Halsin is like the only one who doesn't sound like a Televangelist closing their church doors in front of the refugees, literally). I wish for ONCE we get a Paladin or Cleric who calls out some fellow church members for they hypocrisy. Right now it's what MC does in these games (i.e. being deeply sus of Helmites in NWN or calling out Shadowheart being a poser).
I've never heard the term Deus Vult but definitely agree that Halsin is a great example of a character who is very passionate about his religion while actually seeming to honor those tenants! Most of the druids come off as quite hypocritical - I always disliked how they strive to protect nature, but somehow view tieflings and other humanoid species as separate from that
@@erininsoup Deus Vult is Latin for "God wills it", it was a crusader motto mostly used as a meme when roleplaying as Templars and the like.
Religious leaders often being pharisees and hypocrites is kind of universal problem, even New Testament in the Bible is all bout it, and fiction stories roll with it.
I liked the take Star Wars KOTOR (both 1 and 2) had on it, you can guess the most self-righteous characters in your party and around it are going to turn to the Dark side.

Ok, here is a idea: Experiment with Lae'zel. Normally if you ignore Lae'zel you can find her up to the shadowfell, where she fell to the shadows. What if before that you give her a torch, or the blood of Lathander? Note: you may need to knock her unconscious to swap her weapon so she would need to use a torch or the blood of lathander as weapons and, by consequence, would not fell to the shadowfell

Can we not take the time to appreciate Halsin's voice actor for his angry scenes (confronting kagha and when you tell him you murdered all the druids)
I'm glad you said it, because it's so true! I shivered a bit when he said I deserved to be put down like a rabid dog
I usually save Arabella and then uncover Kagha's connection to the shadow druids before killing her. In my third playthrough, however, I decided to attack one of the shadow druids in rat form right after saving Arabella, before proving anything. That made the shadow druids hostile to the others druids and all the druids hostile to the tieflings. I managed to save one or two very minor tieflings from being massacred in prison, but everyone else in the grove died. This was before meeting Karlach. She blamed me for killing the tieflings, even though I had only attacked druids trying to save tieflings, so I was forced to kill her for Wyll/Mizora/Zariel/the "Paladins of Tyr."
That's so interesting that Karlach will get angry at you even though the druids were the ones who killed the tieflings! I have to go try that for fun.
I actually did something similar to the shadow druid rats while I was testing out some experiments - but instead of aggroing they turned into their human forms and started sprinting manically away lol
Fun fact: Saving Kagha from being Killed by Komira breaks your Oath of Vengeance if you play as a Paladin, So even the game considers this as an evil action for saving an evil character, so she is at the same evil status as the Auntie Ethel (The Hag) and Gortash

I’m sorry but watching kagha take a sip of the wine AFTER komira asks her how it is will always make me laugh. For someone trying to protect the nest she sure doesn’t have a lot of survival instinct

@@TheLalacream Yes, at the Tiefling party. When you talk to her in Akt 3 at the Sharess' Caress, she admits that she was spying on you the whole time. I always missed her in camp, but saw her once in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. I think it was at the masonry or another entrance to one of the buildings.

Once if you're playing a non-fey-ancestry species and you drink Glut's sleeping potion, at the party, and in the shadow curse (I thought she was by the Tollhouse, but the Mason's guild is right there too, and makes more sense lore-wise given Raphael's history.)

Some british accents (like a lot of characters in game) pronounce the a more like a long o sound, so to americans they think it has an r in it.
It sounds like nails on a chalkboard when people pronounce a hard r.
The r sound in american english is a vowel sound actually btw.

It's especially weird because some of r voice actors pronounced it "Korga" simply because of their accent, but for some reason even the actors with different accents seemed to then mimic the same pronunciation, which is extra weird because voice actors don't generally record together. How that pronunciation became default across multiple actors' recording booths at different parts of the studio in different locations around the world is really interesting.
WHAT HAPPENS IF... you let one of your teammates die in the druid grove before triggering the massacre, leave and let the Rite of Thorns take place, and then click on your teammate's portrait to see them and the area inside the grove? What'll be going on in there? Will characters be loaded?

Forgive deserves death in every play through. She was evil. She planned on betraying the Grove and giving it up anyways. If you go to the swamp, you'll find a tainted worship site that has a big tree. In the tree, there is a note between Korga and another druid. When I found this. I was even happier I ended her.
I love the shadow druid stuff!! I had planned on experimenting with them, but the video ended up being over an hour combined so I decided to make it its own separate video
The death of Arabella triggering Kagha to kill the Tieflings makes sense. Either Kagha thinks you were trying to attack her and hit Arabella by mistake, or she thinks that you killed Arabella and were about to blame the death on her. If you were trying to kill her but missed, it would mean you'd sided with the Tieflings and this was the start of the Tieflings trying to take the grove as their own so it was time to kill them. If you were trying to instigate an all-out war between the Druids and the Tieflings, well, the best defense is a good offense. Kagha was looking for an excuse to get rid of the Tieflings, after all.
I was asking myself the same thing: Who even invited Khaga to the party? O_o
Would love to see this in combination with revealing Kagha as a shadow druid!!!!
You also get some entirely different dialogue between Korga and Halsin in the Grove if you do the Dark Druid quest line and convince Korga to change her ways. Also different interaction at the After-party with Arabella's parents if Arabella died and Korga changed her ways. Korga is apologetic instead of being an ass. If you convince Korga to change her ways you get a staff as a request reward. If you don't convince her to change her ways, you can kill her without causing the other druids to go after the Teiflings.
Oooooh, I've experienced all the Shadow Druid stuff before, but I didn't know she still comes to the party and apologizes (every time I've done the shadow druid route, I've saved Arabella). Was Komira receptive to her apology, or did she still want to kill her?
13:05 I managed to aggro the ENTIRE party, again, by simply throwing Gut's lifeless body around. Yes, tieflings care about sanctity of one of goblin leaders so much they will fight to the death if you so much as pickpocket their ENEMY's dead body... it's an oversight, goblins should not be coded as neutrals, but it seems the goblins you fight assaulting the grove are separate entities - they obviously not aggro tieflings on being looted. Also I noticed that state of goblins in camp (alive, massacred, poisoned) or their spiders is not related to ones you actually fight in the grove siege if you talk with Minthara and lure her into... barrel town.
I had this happen to me in the grove once on an Honor run by trying to loot one of the Shadow Druids' bodies for some reason. I still don't get it, bc I'd looted them before and have since (also in HM) without any issue, but for some reason that was considered "stealing," and since I'd been caught sneaking around once before, it instantly caused everyone in the room to aggro...so naturally I thought "Shit, okay, I'll just run outside," only to find everyone out there aggro'd on me, too. Thought my run was cooked until I just barely managed to get (nearly) everyone to run away to safety.
@@corvigae yeah that whole area is a bit too twitchy. I looted shadow druids in combat, just in case.
It's stupid they defend dead goblins tho, especially the exact ones you need to kill to save the Grove.
Hell, I had to put myself in front of Sazza and persuade the tiefling to not execute the prisoner-of-war out of revenge (I'm a Paladin of Vengeance, not war crimes!) and exact same tieflings suddenly get sentimental over robbing the very same Gut their PoW is threatening them with.
This is out of character.

The voice actors pronounce Kagha's name like "Korga" because of their accent. Love your videos btw, I enjoy testing all sorts of stuff in the game, too! I haven't had a game give me this many hours of fascinated enjoyment per dollar since Ultima Online haha. And I'm sure we've both played tons of amazing games, but BG3 has been a special gem!
Yeah - I figured I was butchering it a little, but I didn't want to say "Kah-gah". And aww, thanks so much! I'd never heard of Ultima Online so I just looked it up. That's cool that it was created in the 90s and is still around!
@@erininsoup haha Ultima Online is a really fascinating piece of gaming history. Oddly enough, even though the original game is still going strong, a private free server called UO:Outlands has managed somehow to capture the magic of the original game. Not that I'm pushing ya to play it, but there is so much about it and it's history that is really fascinating... They coined the term "massively multiplayer online game" haha. It was originally in part created to be not just a game, but also a social and economic experiment. Anyways, don't want to drone on about it, but it's history and even the current Outlands server are quite the rabbit hole of "moments in gaming history". 😀

I remember on my first playthrough I attacked Kagha, because I felt cocky, and my character is pretty darn evil most of the time, the only exception being protecting children. So, yeah, most (though not all) tieflings died, and Karlach didn't want to join me because she blamed me on massacring them. I dunno if it was a bug or a feature, but it surely was an interesting experience, even though I missed on a whole companion. Probably for the better, since my Tav was pretty darn evil.

Also, Halsin told me he will visit me at the party, and he never came to that party. Like, the party have never happened, and he just disappeared, so I think it happens when you slaughter the grove and never tell him about it.

In my third playthrough I attacked a rat when I recognized her name as that of a shadow druid, which made the Shadow Druids kill Rath and Nettles before the regular druids decided to slaughter all the Tieflings. (I killed the shadow druids and then two druids while trying to save tiefling prisoners, only one of which lived.) Karlach gave me no choice but to kill her.
In my last playthrough I had killed all the druids. Halsin showed up for the party, but no one else did. I'm not sure why none of the tieflings attended.
I have found that the party tends not to happen if you are in the Underdark when you begin your nest long rest after saving Halsin.
Going on to the Rosymorn Monestary Trail or Shadowlands tends to skip the parties, but one time I think I got a bug where I got the party after visiting Last Light Inn and then going back to the Grove one last time.
Now I’ve gotta go and mess with these interactions with no party limits on. Because if you position characters correctly you can probably save all the teiflings while you simultaneously save halsin.
Very minor thing you missed was a potential interaction with kagha in the party after you kill the goblins leader is, if you let Arabella die, then tell her parents, then reveal kagha’s connections with shadow druids to the rest of the grove, persuade kagha to leave the shadow druids and “redeem” her self, in the party the same events will play out with the parents spiking kagha’s wine, but she will show much more remorse for Arabella.
You can also use lesser restoration on kagha to heal her paralysis and get even more dialogue, I haven’t tried it with kagha not being remorseful, but kagha being remorseful she thanks you
Ooooh, thanks for the tip! I love the shadow druid plot, but I never actually let Arabella die and let Kagha live during the same run - super excited to see her dialogue. And using lesser restoration is so smart, definitely gonna try that out!
I wish fighting the druids went the same way for me as it did in this video. I've tested it myself a few times, and whenever I'd pick a fight with the druids (even in the centre of the grove), most druids would run right past me as non-combatants and start attacking the tieflings in the holding cells. No idea why they wouldn't just join the combat between me and the rest of the druids, but that's what has happened to me every single time so far
That's wild! Did you start the fight by stealing the idol or by attacking a druid? Either way, just more proof that the druids are jerks haha

the trick is to put any kind of damaging AOE in their way, that'll force them into a fight with you
I once did this fight (on accident, I forgot using charm in dialogue on tactician aggros people... which for the character I was playing honestly makes sense anyway) with Durge and Wyll in Kagha's chambers (thought Wyll would enjoy me being a good boy for the first time in my life) while Lae'zel and Astarion were outside, so then I just had 2 separate fights to deal with at the same time. Now, Wyll died and Durge (who is intentionally poorly built, it's a jack-of-all-trades run, 3/10 do not recommend except for the laughs and the achievement) was downed and stabalized.... so after dealing with everything outside, Astarion swooped in to save Wyll and Durge's sorry hides. (Astarion has been my ringer basically the entire time I've played this game. I often send him in to solo fights at higher levels...)
It was interesting, but also Rolan and Lia were dead so Cal disapeared before the party. Also it turns out that you need Rolan alive if you want any kids that aren't Mol to make it to Act 2.
@@bunnyboygamille yeah Rolan uses his magic to protect Alfira and the kids in the Shadowcursed area when they are attacked, so if he isn’t there they die. It’s also why he is so angry at the Tiefling kids when you first arrive at Last Light (because he is blaming them for his siblings being taken)
For Halsin: did you check the alternative entrance into the goblin lair that Liam uses to leave? Doing things in an unusual order I've found he can wind up there & be stuck until you talk to him. It's amusing that you can kill Nettie in her room and no one ever notices (or asks about her) subsequently, even with the door wide open and her body right there. And no comments on the biggest, most spineless clown about the druids, Rath? Tut tut.
Whaaaaaat, that's so interesting that he can get stuck there - I'll definitely have to reload an earlier save and see if he's wandering aimlessly around. Thanks for the tip! 💛 (And awww nooo, at least Rath tries to stand up to Kagha. I don't mind him or the bird-druid. But I fume at Kagha's two hench men)
@@erininsoup I can't recall exactly the weird order I did things because I've done the goblin camp many different ways. In essence everything was finished but I couldn't find him until I went to that spot and engaged him in dialogue. It's also strange to me that if Halsin dies as part of his rescue he's dead forever, but I've had his corpse follow me around at camp for the rest of the game as a result. As for Rath, the man talks a lot, but won't do anything to stop Kagha and gleefully participates in tiefling slaughter/closing off the grove, so he gets no love from me.
Haha the corpse following you around is tragic but also a little hilarious 😂 On an honor run, Minthara died while I was trying to get her out of Moonrise, but for some reason her portrait remained stuck to me since I had been controlling her. Didn't think it would matter but all the guards aggroed on me in every area because of an effect she had - I think it was the Enemy of Justice mark or something.
But one of the things I like about Rath is he is willing to put his life on the line and battle Kagha and the rest of the druids if you reveal something like the shadow druids, while her lackeys will follow her blindly to the end.
@@erininsoup I've never had just Rath oppose her before. Every time I've done the Shadow Druid storyline I convince Kagha she's been on the wrong path (very easy to do) and she and everyone else fights against them. I assume this variance you've experienced can only occur via a very specific set of circumstances (?). Kagha's whole story seems truncated, as her redemption is abrupt and complete (her friend outside implies she wasn't always so bitter and angry)--what little Kagha says afterwards is just her being utterly contrite (which is better than the several instances of Wyll admitting he's been wrong and then immediately saying he'd do the same thing again--the latter I think is intentional satire from Larian as opposed to limited time/budget).
I love the time and effort that you put in to find answers to questions that we may or may not have had. Respect. And Halsin turning up and expecting to go with you at the end, just because he couldn't get back into the grove, and he never mentioned it. What a jerk!
Can't wat to see your experiments with the shadow druids. And don't forget that you can sneak back into the grove via the library, sometimes I find that more useful than using the "front door".

i wonder if the reason for the Lakrissa replacement is because she's moved out from up there. she sits up there naturally and perhaps Nerissa spaawns when Lakrissa is no longer there rather than if Lakrissa is dead?
You know, you might be right on the money - that would also make sense why she doesn't have any voice lines! I need to try attacking Lakrissa I suppose to see if that gives her back her dialogue

The strangest part of finding this video is that I never met Arabella. I went into the grove but I didn't find the door leading to Kagha's room. At the party, Kagha wasn't there (I also never met her until Halsin came back to the grove and yelled at her) (very confusing conversation for me, since he mentioned Arabella's death). Also I never met Arabella's parents, and they weren't at the party either. Kinda crazy I missed that entire plotline :P

You should see what happens if you unleash the Spectator from the Iron Flask while at the Druid & Tiefling party at your camp.
I did it blindly at camp and all my party members joined in on the fight, even the ones not in my party at the time. They were just AI controlled.
I wanna see how much it could break the Druid and Tiefling party lol.
Honestly there are probably lots of interesting places you could unleash that bugger. Maybe even a whole videos’ worth.

Ooooh, interesting idea - I have spent way more time messing around in act 1 and 2 than act 3, but is there a way to free Orpheus before the morphic pool? Because I think at that point you can't go back to the city, and your party is locked together. But if I could, I would loooove to try this

That's so interesting! I usually play a druid, so I go uncover the Shadow Druid business, confront Kagha, and convince her to reform, whether or not I let Arabella die. There's a way to let Halsin know about it all in the goblin camp too, but either way, his confrontation with Kagha is similar. It sounds a little softer, though, since she's showing a lot of regret and remorse, so I think Halsin's VA even recorded the identical lines differently. That also makes it make more sense why Kagha is allowed to attend the party, but is on the outskirts alone. Maybe the whole Shadow-Druid/Faithwarden route deserves a followup video? There's also a lot of druid (and drow-/elf-/tiefling-druid) dialogues that are pretty interesting. I love this kind of content for bg3! Keep it coming!! :D
Ooooh, the Faithwarden stuff is so cool! My friend actually just got that special staff from Kagha on a multiplayer playthrough that I've been doing on the side for fun. I love seeing all the different dialogue options that depend on your character - drow is my favorite for that!
@@erininsoup While looking forward to the next installment, I recently finally got my golden dice, and I'm thinking about my next playthrough, and it occurred to me to wonder about nautiloid shenanigans. If you make Lae'zel stand in fire and completely die, she's a corpse on the beach, and you can resurrect her. But what if Shadowheart dies? Or what if she or Lae'zel jumps/falls off the ship while it's in Avernus? In a Tav run, Shart and Lae'zel can activate the console, but what if Tav fully dies in the fight at the control room? What about the gith man you meet in a Lae'zel origin run? What if he's the only survivor to leave Avernus?
So, i know the people who like to kill Raphael at the beginning of the game cast Silence on him, which prevents his automatic cutscene from triggering. Might silencing Kahga before killing her prevent her from going murderhobo?

I don't want to spoil everything but everytime I'm looking up few things here and there for my 1.5 gameplay I get more and more afraid going blind, cause I'm prob going to miss so much (1st play through as 4 customs we never met Astarion or the hag, only Larian knows how many things we just skipped in act1)

Backing you up here, I angered the druids then rescued halsin after. He said he had to meet the druids and I could meet him in the grove, but just like your attempt, he was nowhere to be found since all the druids were dead.

Definitely gonna do some experiments in Act 2 (my favorite act!) But it might be a little while - I'm finishing up a shadow druid one, and then I'm going to be traveling for a couple of weeks, so it'll probably be mid-August. If you have any suggestions for things to try out, let me know ❤
I wonder what happens in the Druid grove with all of this, if you are also a Druid. Such as any unique dialogue that comes from being a Druid, or anything like that.
I'll have to respec with Withers and give it a try! I know there's a special interaction if you confront Kagha and the shadow druids as a druid, but it'll be so cool if there's also unique dialogue when the massacre begins

Yes, definitely have plans to cover that!! It was actually all supposed to be one video, but the video started to get so long that I decided to make the shadow druid video its own thing. ❤️
OK I didn't see a comment about the replacement NPC issue, but given that she was bugged out, here's my guess. Likely because you started the incident where the tieflings were meant to be killed, it loaded in at least one of the replacement NPCs in prep, but because you stopped the killings, that NPC's flags didn't get set right so they were not able to be spoken to. I would be curious to see if any of the other replacements popped up mixed in with the rest of them.
I have a question, if Arabella died, will her parents die in Act 2 as normal or not. I've never tried that myself ;)
That's a great question! For some reason, I swore I read that her parents survive if she dies, but when I tried searching that up I couldn't find anything about that...so I might need to try it out in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!

I saved the little girl as a paladin of vengeance and oofed Kagha as a response.. my idea was to punish her unmoral behaviour. well after the battle (her cave) I took a long nights rest and was banished from the grove - ported right outside the gate. Karlach said after that, I killed the tiefling refugees personally, so I couldn't recruit her anymore.. halsin was saved and oblivious and would join my team happily. what a mess eventhough I was on a good playthrough
So interesting that Karlach views you murdering Kagha as a direct attack on the tieflings 😂 Meanwhile Halsin is a druid and isn't phased

In my first playthrough I thought Arabella would be saved if I just got halsin back. When I got back she was already dead 😢 even though I didn't get the cutscenes with the snake.
I just tried this out the other day haha and felt like I betrayed Arabella 😫 I wish there was a way to start the snake interaction with one person and rescue halsin with the rest, but I don't know if he'd show up at camp
Its strange that you can kill arabella but cant kill other tiefling kids. I tried to slaughter them after they stole my stuff, but they were invincible
I'm curious, what if you kill everyone in the grove, then go side with the Goblins to do the raid. Is there any special dialogue for everyone in the grove already being dead before the raid?
Oh and there's a Goblin caged up at the grove, I wonder if there's dialogue with killing everyone else, and freeing them.

33:11 i think if you check the outside of the grove halsin will be there dead if i remember because i originally wanted to kill kagha and i did but after a chat with minthara and deciding not to kill her and free halsin kind of i killed the rest of the tieflings and he was outside, but again my memory doesnt hold up well

rn I'm doing an evil playthrough and wondering about all the interactions with the druidxtiefling fight and minthara's raid, like what happens if the fight starts and then you have her show up? will wyll and karlach still be mad for having her come over even if you don't go through with the massacre since everyone's dead (if you only kill druids in that fight I guess?)? thinking about what to do for maximum drama
Awww of course! And ooooh, I like your thinking!! Some other commenters have said that even inciting the massacre and letting the tieflings die without Minthara is enough to make Karlach angry, so I think she might be out of commission, but it'd be fun to try to see what new lines pop up!
If you want to teleport something with improvised weapon you want to trigger the teleport just before they hit the ground so, pick em up drag em as far as they can teleport
learned that doing the old Minthara recruit glitch lol for some characters you might need to use Polymorph and Charm animals

The Raphael trigger has nothing to do with the grove attack. I’ve triggered him there before as well. I once tried attacking Raphael in front of the druids and they started attacking the tieflings anyway?

I actually tried this out as part of my shadow druids experiments - it was all going to be one video, but it got too long! Kagha didn't have new dialogue lines, but it was kind of satisfying to have the upper hand on her

I had a friend play druid, and apparently nothing new really happens - but if you reveal the shadow druid plot as a druid in defense of the tieflings, you'll get a special staff!
I'm on my 7th or 8th playthrough right now and I triggered a scene with Kagha where you confront her about the Shadow Druid plot, and this triggers a whole new encounter. You need to find the letter hidden at the beach with the mud mephits.
Yes, love the shadow druids!! I did a few experiments exclusively about them, but I ran out of time in the video.
My only question is what happens if Kahga kills Arabella and then you later out her as a shadow druid. Does Halsin still kick her out? Does Arabella's parents still murder her?

depends on the dialogue or set of instances but they can still murder her at the party after outing her as a shadow druid, halsin demotes her down to a novice and shes at the party for some reason, the parents can still kill her
just happened to me in my playthrough: Kahga killed Arabella and I came back and exposed her as a shadow druid. I persuaded her to fight with me against the others. Halsin was still BIG MAD at her in the grove and he didn't demote her to a novice...he basically said he couldn't absolve her and that nature would run its course with her. She was at the party and Komira stabbed her. Astarion is wearing her necklace.
If you want to experiment more, try playing a Tiefling, a Druid or... A Tiefling Druid, there's new text options :)
Yeeees, I'm doing a multiplayer with a few friends and one of them just got a special staff from Kagha for being a druid. Definitely need to try out some other class combos!
I'm doing 2nd playthrough rn, sazza is little buggy too, I've accepted quest to free her, then went to mintharaand organized attack on the grove and killed every remaining gonlin at camp. Now when i freed sazza, she wants me to speak to minthara who isn't there, maybe after I'm done with betraying minthara something will happen with her

I don't think there is a way back into the Grove if that happens - they'll seal it off immediately, and I haven't been able to find a way to bypass the thorns 🥹
@@erininsoup should be possible with fly or misty step. I mean if a jump can get you in during the goblin attack I see no reason those can't get you in with the rite after all
I prefering Kagha redemtion story and because on my honored mode Arabela die why my urge loving detecting thougs :D , after seving her from shadow druid she suffer by it even more for Arabela death.

They’re not saying “Corga,” they’re saying Kahga” with a British accent. An American should pronounce it “Kah-Gah.” Think of it like the way British people would say Saturday like “Sa-ur-day.” That doesn’t mean we should start saying it like that.
Yeah, a few comments have let me know 😊 I'm half Korean, and oftentimes my mom's name gets butchered by people, so I thought some people might be offended if I made no effort to pronounce her name the way I heard it (albeit I didn't do a great job at the pronunciation!) Can only improve the next time I say her name!
