Intake Valve Carbon Cleaning - GDI

This is our first video showing the carbon cleaning via media blaster method. This procedure would work the same with other manufacturers such as VW, Audi, BMW, Porsche, etc. The only difference would be the adapter that connects to the vacuum. Those adapters are specific to the size and shape of the intake port locating in the cylinder head. After performing this procedure, I see no reason to clean intake valves any other way. Once I learned the process, this is such a easy and clean way to clean the carbon deposits. The most time consuming portion was removing the intake manifold as it would be with any vehicle. Once the cleaning is complete for each port, I did use compressed air to get the smaller pieces of media out for the best clean possible.
