    So how does the cloth simulation work along with normal mapping or whatever means that might otherwise be used to reduce the poly count of a scene overall to cause it to work well in animations?

    • @RogueKnight3D
      @RogueKnight3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It totally depends on the project.. You can make the cloth a mesh.. And use good topology to reduce poly count...much can be done..

    Thanks so much this was very helpful, bit how do you make it so the cloth acts the same but it doesn't fall onto it ?

    • @RogueKnight3D
      @RogueKnight3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to use 2 pieces of cloth.. And stitch them on the model. Will be making a tutorial for that as well soon

    Helpful, but what if I just want a cloth draped over my character without it dropping from above?

    • @RogueKnight3D
      @RogueKnight3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you just want a cloth.. You can use the same trick but with thr cloth around the character... But making clothes is a bit different.. Will be making tutorial about that as well soon

    Can this method be transferred to UE5 for a player character? Like simulating cloak physics in-game while running around as a character I make and rig in Blender. or is there a better way to do that

    • @RogueKnight3D
      @RogueKnight3D  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can easily get free base models all. Ovee the web.. Even on Blender market and other places

    Hello sir how to add cloth physics to mixamo characters ??

    • @RogueKnight3D
      @RogueKnight3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to first make separate vertex groups or separate the clothes from the mesh... Then apply cloth physics.. But it requires a lil bit more detail as well. Will make a tutorial on making clothes soon
