Awesome collection of vids and tutorials! Really well paced, clearly explained and perfect for my noob status yet overambitious goals 😅 looking forward to learning more from you 😊
Really clear, and to the point. thanks for this.
Thank you for this!
Fantastic! How can you adjust the strength of the cloth? I want it to react that way but a little heavier
Another tip: on the colission for the character there is an inner and outer setting. Change both to smaller numbers (like 0.001) and the cloth is closer to the body so your char doesn't look so beefy. But watch out that your char doesn't clip through your clothing.
Set the collision on the body and the inner and outer collision on the robe and set the sewing to above 10. This tip helped.
ty so much
Excellent tutorial! ty :D
thank u very much
pretty nice!
Thats awesome! I guss you coukd apply this for a hood also?
Nioce! So you can import characters that are rigged ? Awesome
Used this to make a ghost face robe lol
Cool
Hello, if the clothes accumulate in the center of the original plane and ignore other objects what can i do?
My Cloth just explode
i laughed when i first read your comment .... until mine did too
My cloth imploded

same my cloth was troble
Hi can you help me, my blender software is turning off (not shutdown) when i put in rendered view pls help!
Could we export it to Unity and the physics of the cloth will export as well?
Can you get it to move like a thicker cloth like wool?
The edges are not closed around the seams
when i apply scale the model teleports away from where it was and when i play the animation it just zips across the screen
It's 100% a dress not a rope
thankkk you very much for this amazing video
everything has come from you is amazing
I was wondering what if you have some parts of the clothing that are stiff like a collar?
my guess would be to not apply any of the effects from the video for that
will it work if i export it to UE5?
Hey the discord link won’t work i wanna join
Hello great tut however i cant seem to get my character into a t pose i followed step by step i.e alt- g alt-r alt-s any suggestions
i got sorry
i got it
nope for some reason alt r and alt s wont work
@@oneroad2930 had problems with the hot keys too. Got it to work by selecting armature switching to pose mode pose menu -> clear transforms clearing the rotation got the T-pose.
Thank you soo much@@Paul_nutfrom80s
The robe just tears apart in the middle here: 8:30
You can delete the mirror modifier then select the whole ½ mesh and symmetrize it. Do check the X axis when do so tho
My sleeves roll up. Do you know why this could happen?
Collisions are too high or the sewing strength is too low
Is there any way that I delete the character and use cloth as 3d model only ??
you can hide the character in the viewport and the render
I followed every step. when I hit play my cloth just exploded and only at frame 250 it turned into a robe, but it looks terrible. The cloth isn't moving passed frame 250 and it looked wrinkly af with a bunch of holes😭 help! Why did that happen?
Wait I just fixed it! In Physics > Cloth> Physics properties > Bending model and selected Linear instead of Angular.
glad it's not a dress. that was a close one
my mesh lags and goes through
Where can i find the mannequin?
