    Why is it that former fast swimmers who are now coaches don't understand biomechanics of swimming translated to dry land training. I have seen numerous videos on TH-cam that get only part of the biomechanics correct. At least this video gets the high elbow advice correct. Kudos to this coach. I suppose doing some type of dry land training is better than none, even if not addressing biomechanics of various phases of a stroke.

      The real problem here is that literally none of the trainers ever hint at the fact that shoulder intrarotation is detrimental to the joint, thus stretching the intrarotators and strenghtening the extrarotators with specific dry land drills after each swimming session is of paramount importance for the shoulders' health. According to Halo, the red tubing is the right tension for most swimmers. Blue is harder.

    How many set and repetitions should you complete to strengthen and improve your stroke. How fast should the strokes be done?

    Instead of Bending over why not anchor above u and kneel? Then a strain line between knees hips chest. Better would be stand if high enough anchor point

  • @nikitaw1982
    @nikitaw1982 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes safety goggles first didn't anchor it properly and copped it in the face.
